Somebody was waiting For you at the skating rink Last night I hope you know He's not worth your time He's the worthless kind He said he loves your new sweater And you should get together And he could take it off of you He's got two 40s And his mom's SUV He wants you to stay But you won't stay He wants you to stay But you won't stay He wants you to stay But you won't stay Will you baby, that's okay Won't you baby, that's okay I feel underneath the weather, yeah I had felt much better before I started talking to you You're a waste of time You're the worthless kind We were breathing underwater Your mother and your father Kept on crying out for you But we're both too high And you don't change your mind We want you to stay but you won't stay We want you to stay but you won't stay We want you to stay but you won't stay Will you baby, that's okay We want you to stay but you won't stay We want you to stay but you won't stay We want you to stay but you won't stay Will you baby, that's okay
thoughts on this: these songs are spells... my friends were emo but they didnt like this music... i liked it because of its funk influence but i didnt know funk existed when i listened to this music... i wrote alex g a very long emaili one time because i was having a bad trip and he responded... i really believe that content is so much more important than style and alex g definitely pmo to that way of thinking/enjoying/making music... similarly to r stevie moore, alex g is definitely a genre-- very few people have that.... i think alex g's music was so important at this stage because it's character was so undeveloped--- it really left a lot up to the listener's spirit/interpretation--- his new music doesnt have that because its so charactered... one time i was on a family vacation in a faraway country and i had not listened to this music in a very long time (for like 4 years i listened to only this music and im not exaggerating) and i laid in bed listening to this music alone... at the conclusion of my first and only romantic relationship, me and my boyfriend (we met when i was a trans woman and at my 'detransition' i decided to end the relationship) we laid in the bed of a hotel in the adirondacks and listened to all of 'punk' in total silence and meditation... i have recently converted to christianity because of very intimate, scary experiences w the occult and i have a gut feeling that this music is very heavily influenced by evil and the fact that this music has such a home in my soul really deeply concerns me--- what so strongly attracted me to this music was my despair and this music boxed it, which is why when i revisit it now i am totally overcome with a very pervasive sensation of spiritual disorder/emptyness, as though by giving this music such an active role in the management of my emotions i damaged my relationship with the world... well goodnight to all.... hahahahaha...
all songs are spells! some more intentionally than others. tris music is definitely a reflection of the darkness and pain of life, but i believe it is the beauty of it which is pervasive and appealing. Maybe it depends on how you engage with the emotions, but i definitely can see what you are saying! Thank you for sharing. Ive always noticed a strangeness to this music and its interesting how you relate to it. So much love to you.
Okay okay i I will let ya wanna go on the road and then I can get a hold on my head lol xx I just don’t know how to make things like it is lol xx lol I just got the new card and it is okay lol lol I love it lol

@@faitht347 hey yall sorry for the long wait its here: drive.google.com/open?id=1e4zdN7B-8iIrSU7EsyPe9moZCy4vY-qN and yes we do have one, a simple google or reddit search will find what you need easily :)
thanks for the upload! really enjoying all these skin cells songs but what about (tie me down and get well?) also think there’s a few other songs that they released and I’m not seeing it on here.
those other songs were on various cds and myspace blogs and never really considered one release. get well... god i wish we had a studio recording but unfortunately ive never heard one. animal friends, tie me down, and demos of demos are all floating around. i was one going to make a fan compilation called N2 with all the songs that would potentially be on a 2nd album, still the idea is floating around
Skin cells was 2009-2013 or so on/off then DSU took off in 2014 so Alex and Sam have been focusing on that stuff ever since. Race-Rules stuff Skin Cells was still active.
