@@qqs5450 that might be it but no one really has that glossy glassy reflective skin, we have pores discoloration, hair, wrinkles you know? And we're mammals lol it's fineee
She should take a closer selfie like the one in the picture to show the difference....lower resolution pictures look flawless due to the blurring effect
No one's skin is flawless ever !!! Human beings have pores so anytime you don't see ours know it's a filter!!! I don't listen to people who use filters 95% of women
@@khlv4855ikr! cakey is different than texture. btw just want to add something to your comment, use silicon primer to reduce the texture. we still can see the texture, but it's 90-95% reduced
I would just want to remind y'all this is not your skin. Don't ever compare it to someone else's. Everybody has different skin; oily, dry or both. Her way of preparing before makeup might not be yours because you have a different type of skin and she doesn't have acne unlike other people. A person with dry skin and no acne could use this routine, but a person with oily skin and acne wouldn't be able to do it. Our skin is not perfect as some people make it seem. Don't feel bound to take some habits just because it works FOR SOMEONE. You are beautiful the way you are, and always take care of your skin YOUR WAY.
I agree 100%. Everybody's microbiom is different and unique. Not one routine is going to work for everyone. That's why so many influencers' routines vary. They know what works best for themselves. My personal advice to anyone who reads this is to do your own research on the products themselves and make your own informed decision. Also, if you can talk to someone who specializes in skincare products (that's not an influencer) that would be the best way to go.
@@Casket_Cutie you two didnt get the message at all. Shes not saying "use these products" shes saying skin prep is important before applying make up. A lot of people apply hialuronic acid but not many knows that youre supposed to apply it on damp skin so thats why she mentioned it in the video.
@saramitjanin540 but a lot of people are going to try her routine and possibly cause problems for their skin. It's best to make informed decisions for yourself instead of following other people's routines.
It's not only about the skin prep. It's about a well-used, daily thorough skincare routine!😊 Also, drink lots of water and eat healthy! Too many women are putting too much makeup onto their skin, making it look too heavy and hard. A light hand can make a big difference!!!😊❤
guys the lighting, camera, and filters are everything. while she may have HELLA smooth skin, she still has hairs and skin texture like any human. even silk has texture. don’t compare yourself. it’s ok if your skin doesn’t look like her skin in this video, because her skin doesn’t even look like that in real life. love your skin ❤
@@jacelynyc4275Even if she wasn’t using a filter, when you are far away from the camera it smooths out your skin. So *yes* she does have amazing skin but @imawakemymindisalive13 is right
While I’d love to believe you, I just went to a New Year party yesterday and one of my cousins has this exact smooth skin. The only makeup she had been wearing was mascara and lip tint. Yes, I even rubbed her face to make sure. She even took a wipe and wiped her face when everyone was finished checking (though that might not be her proving that she didn’t have makeup since her mom said she usually tries to avoid touching her face even with her own bare hands).
Step 1: Genetics Step 2: If you have oily skin or acne (like me) don't follow this routine it will make your makeup slide off, and seperate during the day. Step 3: No routine can get rid or cover up your skins texture. Her video is biased coming from someone with smooth skin which therefore makes the video invalid unless you have smooth skin like her. If she showed it on someone with textured skin, maybe then it would be useful. She should put a disclaimer that this is for people without textured skin. Step 4: you're beautiful as you are! Textured skin is something many people experience so don't feel alone! ❤
I was looking for this comment!😭 As a person with textured skin I can say that THIS DOES NOT WORK. People with smooth skin need to stop making these type of videos😔
@@iammelllhey, it's fine if she uses filters... it makes her videos more aesthetically pleasing. Using filters does not mean she doesn't love herself enough
Yes but! It helps and please don't put on a very heavy and matt finish foundation, i learned this. Since i use proper skincare, prepping and only bb cream (where i have acne spots i use a bit of concealer), i have prettier makeup! Of course i have pitted scars and huge pores but they look so much better like this.
Skin has texture. Yes, prepare your skin, but it will always have texture. it's normal. The camera has so many blurring and filter effects. Dont believe anyone who says otherwise.
Actually it might not be a filter...I have been following good skincare for a long time and on most days my skin looks that good too. ( I have never worn makeup more than lipstick and eyeliner in 18+ years of my life😅)
@@abhisrimishra599 That's because u're still not in ur 20's, that's when ur skin starts to appear dry and ur pores become huge. This girl is older and u can clearly see she is wearing a filter...
Please understand that skin will have some form of texture no matter what skin care or makeup you use. Texture is normal. Unless you’re a baby you’re not going to be textureless and poreless. It’s impossible.
@@rmslefttoe9024she said that her skincare makes her skin feel so smooth ect. In reality her skincare routine is only going to make her skin feel THAT smooth for a few minutes before her skin absorbs all the product. Yes, it makes her makeup go on less cakey, but she gives the idea that it makes her skin so so smooth like it eradicates all her skin texture when that’s really not the case
Yes that’s true also she could be like any other kind of influencer who just uses filters or is far away and claims they have smooth ass skin usually this makes boys and girls just feel bad abt themselves even if they shouldn’t we were made like this we should appreciate our creation else u r basically telling ur gen and species r ugly
@@ayeshamazhar123Okay but using filters and pretending silky smooth skin with no pores is normal is absolutely damaging to some people’s view on themself soooo
Just a PSA because I think a lot of comments are missing it. Shes using a filter + the phone naturally makes her skin look smoother. No ones skin has no pores or imperfections. Her skin is very good yes, but it is not flawless as it appears in the video. Do not be insecure about having pores, peach fuzz, freckles, or acne because shit is normal
Turn off that filter and do it again. Skin texture is sooo humane and if you're talking about non cakey makeup, i don't see the reason for a filter here
yk cakey makeup is a thing. ive seen people with acne scars, dry skin and usually peel with flawless makeup. and people with a good skin and looking like first pictures lol
@@vampr3751and that's the problem with videos like that 😭 now some people think that if you moisturize the hell out of your face, you will get this flawless beauty filter result 😭 If she takes a close up picture like the ones at the beginning, she is bound to have some texture too. Maybe it won't be as severe, but it will still be there because this is what our sking looks like One can follow her instructions and actually benefit from that a lot, since there will be some "wall" in between your skin and makeup, but you won't have the same effect as in the video, because it has been smoothened out either by a filter or by her camera (not necessarily on purpose)
Ok I can’t be the only one who needs these pep talks and wants her as my older sister ( also she looks 17 I swear). Everyone needs a big sis like her ❤❤❤ I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS BTW!!❤😊
Huh? pure soul? what you see in internet is not what in real life. by seeing one of her video on why it's expensive to afford women, I understood how pure she is. Is a woman a commodity that men must afford? No, it's about love.@@khushitrivedi8735
Yeah, plus the camera isn't extremely close to her like the other girls pics. Plus, what's the deal with the hands? Is she trying to show us that she has nothing in them? She seems to be stretching them out a lot. 😂
let’s not put down people that don’t have flawless skin like you do. it’s not “cakey”, it’s texture. some people have larger pores. i have been caring for my skin for a long time and it is literally impossible to shrink pores. it’s genetics. no matter what you do, there will always be texture on some people.
Yes!! And anyways no human will ever have the most flawless makeup MAKEUP IS PAINT it drys and forms a lot of patches and cracks PLUS we all have hair on our body’s which will also patch it anyway
Yeah, you can apply hyaluronic acid on dry skin. Serums are mostly water and this one is meant to trap the water evaporating out of your skin so you don't lose moisture. Also, skin has texture irl.
That’s what I came here to say! Hyaluronic acid is def not something that “must” be applied on damp skin and it’s not usually irritating. That’s a tik tok thing. Not a dermatologist thing
@@fitridwianggraini423 she said don’t apply HA ‘on’ dry skin, it’s recommended to put it on damp skin as it’s a humectant and can potentially do the opposite and dry your skin out if used incorrectly
@@alexamandes8872it’s actually recommended to put it on damp skin as it’s a humectant and pulls moisture from its surroundings, therefore it could actually do the opposite if used incorrectly, educate yourself before assuming things. I’ve seen too much unnecessary hate on this girls posts and it’s pissing me off
@@halima234-x and who is recommending it? I can promise you considering I’m an esthetician and a professional that this is not at all necessary. So no it’s not unnecessary hate. It’s called don’t tell people “they have to” do something and act like you’re a professional when you’re not
Sis if you're using a Facial oil and then applying foundation, the makeup in the end will become patchy and just by touching it, It would come off. So Please do not apply any kinda oil before your makeup, Moisturizer and Primer is positive.
It works for me. My makeup doesn’t get patchy. Sometimes primer and moisturizing isn’t enough. That’s why she said if you have dry skin it helps. If you have oily skin it will get patchy. 🙋🏻♀️
@@jirehlozano6257 I Have Dry skin, it's soo dry that if I don't apply moisturizer my face turns white (skin peels off) So idk how it turned to be working for you but for me it just ruined my day.
Exactly, it slides off too. And all the products might not mix well together. Then your base separates 😩 Honestly this routine wouldn’t work for most people- coming from a makeup artist
Yeah u would atleast just have to patch it with powder and setting spray anyway WHICH MAKES IT PATCHY! I usually moisterize and sunscreen too but I could never without powder n stuff which makes it patchy else I would have oily makeup which is bleh it’s just being realistic no one can have perrrrfeeeccct makeup bc it’s basically putting paint in ur face
I used to compare myself to these types of girls, but now that I binged all of jazmines videos, it gives me motivation. Ty Jazmineee bbg. You're the best online big sister
This skincare routine is just for ppl with dry skin and no texture. If you have big pores and oily skin this won’t help. So step #1 is to figure out what skin type do you have 👀 and Sephora is always willing to help with that! The same way they color match you with the devices they can do that to tell you your skin type and help you build a skin routine 🙌🏻✨ it’s free too
5 minutes apply skin care rules unless for retinol. For skincare🎉 retinol only apply when your skin really dry otherwise your skin might get irritation especially if you have sensitive skin
