I think you’ve just said what a lot of us secretly think. Whilst I love Lisa Eldridge’s whole “less is more” approach, if I used her pinpoint technique of only applying a tiny bit of concealer here and there, it would take me an hour to cover everything that needs covering. I have to say, your eyes are looking even better, when you said you were 99%happy, i think since then, the skin has tightened up even a bit more now its recovered from the surgery, the hood looks to have completely gone. Eyes look great!!❤❤

I agree with you totally Nisha! One either wears makeup or no makeup. I myself prefer a full-coverage foundation, at 66 there are lots of crevices and creases and discolouration to hide!🤣. OMG!! I'm so with you on that Nisha...if I want a 'no make-up look', I just don't wear make-up!!😂😂😂 otherwise I think it should just be called a 'minimal' make-up look, then a 'full' make-up look and finally, a 'dramatic' make-up look!! Personality for me, I love the L'Oréal BB cream for the light coverage, it never seems to emphasise lines or wrinkles...I have about 8 different foundations going at present, from light to full coverage, and I honestly think I feel most confident in the BB cream, I use 2 dots of concealer (on 2 little marks on my face) and 2 dots of undereye brightening concealer... light dusting of setting powder and then the eyes and cheeks as usual...
I use a tinted moisturizer if I'm going to run errands and only use mascara and a little color on cheeks and lips. For dressed up times, I use a foundation. I like Australian Gold and La Roche- Posay tints.
thank you for doing your eyes on camera. i know it takes twice as long because you are explaining as you go, and i am grateful. i agree with you regarding the concepts of skin tints. a good tinted sunscreen is what i use on my daily walks or errands, and then REAL makeup for evenings out.
Nisha I think it looks wonderful on you! Please try the maybelline skin tint it is not glowy, feels like nothing on the skin but still has coverage, I think you will love it x
Totally agree Nisha, i do love a foundation better for me - yes it shows my wrinkles but i would rather that, it makes me feel more confident. I don't really like the glowy look to much, i don't mind a liquid blush over an all matt look. Lots of love xx
Hi Nisha. Personally, if I want to go for a ‘no make up look’, I make life very simple by not wearing anything at all on my face apart from a touch of lipstick. If you have to spend an age and multiple products to achieve a natural look, it seems to defeat the object.I believe we have to give our skin a chance to breathe now and again and by applying nothing at all after a good daily cleansing routine can feel refreshing and beneficial.
Not a fan of any skin tints except for Maybelline Super Stay skin tint with powder over, I really like it a lot and I'm a full coverage foundation user usually. Very inexpensive and very popular for a reason. Great video Nisha.
You look beautiful! I've been using dual finish powder foundation because the liquid foundations I've tried, all seem glowy to me and show every imperfection.
I agree with you 100% on skin tints: No coverage, and you have to go back and cover with a concealer. It is much easier and takes a lot less time to just put on foundation. One skin tint I found that is more like a cc cream is the wet and wild tinted moisturizer. It gives you coverage, quick to apply with your hands, and stays put all day.
I think you look beautiful! As one who looks ridiculous in foundation - I LOVE Ilia skin tint. It’s clean makeup. Just a hint to blur redness and imperfections but no settling in lines or cakiness.

I've been using Maybelline Super Stay 24Hr Skin Tint and I really like it. I'm a guy and don't want to look like I'm wearing anything, but I want to also even-out my skin and also get rid of some of the rosacea here and there. As I get older my skin gets more and more blotchy with red here and there. It does a good job. It's not flawless, but it's a skin tint and it does work for me to pull myself together and take a few years off. I can also use it on the backs of my hands because it's transferproof. As long as you can find a good colour-match for your face in the first place it works well because it means you can use it in some places and not others and still have it undetectable. It's not glowy or I wouldn't use it. I'm oily enough as it is.
(I use two brushes to apply it btw, not fingers, fingers it was too thick and it also dries-down very fast. I use a flat foundation brush (like a paint brush shape with two flat sides) to dab a little on (I drip it from the dropper onto a plastic lid I use as a palette for control and pick it up from there with the brush) and spread it slightly where it want to apply it, and a flat foundation blender brush (one of those with the bristles splayed out and a totally flat end on it) to lightly buff it around and even it out.)
So glad to hear you say your feelings re skin tints as I keep trying different ones. I like the S by A Think the Delilah Wake up looks greasy. But I do like the Time frame and ofcourse Alibi. ❤ xjill

Hi Nisha! I love foundation and never go out without applying some! I like those with strong coverage so the makeup no makeup look is not for me! I couldn't agree with you more. I've been using Eucerin mineral tinted sunscreen 35 for a few months now! It's very thick and covers the imperfections I have. It applies superbly to my skin and is very luminous. I always apply foundation over it! But I don't have oily or dry skin, just normal skin. A few days ago I applied Eucerin and as I was thinking about something other than my make-up I forgot the foundation...lol!!! I must say I liked the result! But for those with oily skin, I don't think it's the right product! Have a great weekend! xxx
I don't know if you've ever tried Laura Geller double take baked versatile powder foundation. I use it in golden medium. I'm 65 and I just use it with some concealer. I use a foundation brush to apply. It covers well and you don't have to use a lot. It's been good for quick and easy coverage. Really enjoy all your videos. Thank you!
Good morning Nisha, I agree with you regarding foundation,however on days when I just want to look presentable and not frighten the horses 😊I find this tint does the job. It gives a little colour and glow and with a pop of lipstick and eyeliner I’m ready for the day. Love your full look !! ❤🌺🌷
Hi Nisha - Great video! I have often thought I should be able to use skin tints as I don't really think I need much coverage, but I'm now kind of agreeing with you - what is the point? You might as well just use a foundation that you love and then you know what you are working with. I really love your eye look. You can do a full make without the foundation looking overly thick and mask-like…like you I like to “put my knickers on” daily!!! Nisha, I think that your skin has been looking better and better in the past few years , because you are taking better care of it....but you still think you need to cover it as much as you used to. I personally love tints or moisturizers with spf .... and a bit of glow, although I do agree that too much glow makes me look more tired. the darker tones in those tints tend to glow less I have found. getting used to the No Makeup makeup look takes a while. now that I learned from you how to put eyeshadow, I am not giving that up 🤩😍
Nisha, good sunny morning of the end of July! I liked your makeup with a pinkish undertone, you made the look light, elegant and very summery. Yes, I agree with you that in the heat it is better to use a makeup base so that the coating retains its freshness longer. I also fix it with powder, and use Yves Saint Laurent matte foundation, it is in the summer that I use this cream. It holds up better and after finishing the makeup, I apply a spray with a sunscreen effect. I did it yesterday. The makeup turned out to be transparent, the main thing is to have a fan at hand to dry the spray on your face faster. I also can't go out without makeup, not all of our natural things people should see, and besides, all cosmetics now have a care effect. I feel exactly as you do about skin tints/tinted moisturizers. The only one I like is Saie Slip Tint because for me it works as a light coverage foundation.
You had me laughing right away! I love your tell it like it is manor. I am in SW FL & I do like Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator. When it's this hot, I do not want to wear anything heavy. It has a bit of a glossy look & I like it. My hairline gets a light dust of translucent powder. ❤❤❤

Even though I thought you you still looked good at 58 and sun damaged skin I would not even try it. If you were 20 and had no flaws and wanted to have a bit of colour I'd say go for it. Hi Nisha, Good morning to you, as I’m turning in for the night. 🤣 I’m not a skin tint or foundation user. I just don’t like the feel of it on. I use a full coverage powder, and it never looks dry on me. Maybe because my skin isn’t dry, and I moisturize well before applying. I LOVE the Pat McGrath eye shadow, beautiful ! I need to get some. I always use a shimmer on my lids, but not the glitter kind. Gotta have a little bling, always ! 😉🤩🥰
I’m am absolutely an all or nothing girl when it comes to makeup. If I don’t want to look like I’m wearing makeup, I don’t, and save myself the hour it would take me to struggle through something I don’t like!
I put the foundation on the thickest I can. Lol. I joke but I’m not really lying. My 17 year old granddaughters look beautiful with just a hint of foundation, Me? I just look like I’ve slept in my makeup and the tint is what’s left over . lol. It turned out just beautiful. Love to you ♥️♥️♥️
At 54yr old im steering away from heavy foundation and opting for a more your skin but better look. I love the chanel water fresh tint. It's disappointing when 1st applied but after a few minutes some sort if magic happens and it's my go to in the warmer weather. I also love No1 de chanel foundation . It's a natural finish. No glowy greasy spoons. 🤣🤣
I just recently tried Cover Girl simply ageless skin tint. It’s very watery with little beads in it. Dupe for Chanel Les Beiges. I was surprised I liked it. Less is more with it. I tried it with a brush and my fingers. If it’s really blended and worked into the skin I think it’s definitely more coverage than just tint. It didn’t settle in wrinkles but it had a little glow but not greasy. If you are real oily may not work. Use more matte bronzer & blush and it works well. Feels like nothing on your face. Very inexpensive too.

I always do makeup because I have a lot of sun spots in my 66+ years, a lot of everything already, so depending on the situation, my makeup can be light or with a dense coating. I am so used to it and so far I manage to please myself and my friends with my fresh appearance in my "young" years.😊😍🥰😚😉хохо
I’m with you Nisha, I might as well not wear any makeup if just wearing a tint. For my 63 yr more mature skin, a tint is never effortless, and then I look older than I feel I already look. So, if I don’t want to wear foundation, I will just use concealer, bronzer and blush and blurring powder and liner ,mascara. Oops and a neutral pinkish lip. Thank you for sharing.

Your look is beautiful, especially the eye look. It, definitely, took more work than makes sense to conceal areas that show through. My skin is pretty even, so I might be able to use it, but I would rather wear tinted sunscreen. That saves me a step and what I do in the summer. I know I won't like a "skin tint" 🙄 either Nisha so I haven't bought any of the new ones. I tried the Tarte tinted moisturizer when it first came out. It was ok but not worth the cost for the very little it did. Later I found the Lumene cc cream, it has more coverage and isn't glowy. It's less than half the price. It's my fav. for a light makeup day.

No, CC creams are not tints they are like tinted moisturisers but with more coverage, I quite like cc creams they are more like foundations with skincare ingredients and usually SPF in them xx
No make up make up .. what is that 🤷♀️you either want to wear make up or you don’t. I love a good foundation but not one that makes me look like an oil slick at 71 . You have said everything that I agree with. Carry on wearing what you want because you always look beautiful 😊
I'm moving away from tints,CC and BB creams because too much glow makes me look sweaty, not a great look for a woman in her 60's. Also if I'm spending ages using lots of concealer to cover my thread veins it's easier to use a lighter foundation that is buildable. I like No7 hydra luminous foundation when I'm at home and Clinique your skin but better when I go out. I think skin tints are for young skin without blemishes or texture.
I picked up several Sculpted products when I visited Ireland a couple years ago. Unfortunately, I didn’t care for any of them once I got home to the States and binned them all. Just didn’t sit right on my then 48 year old skin.
That's a shame, I love the Satin silk foundation from them, concealer and powder, I am just not into skin tints after trying lots of them I know that they are not for me xx
Have you tried Eborian cc cream , it is fabulous, gives a lovely finish to skin if you don’t want to wear too much make up one day , I find it great & I am 59 xxx
But cc cream is not a skin tint so it will have more coverage I used to wear CC and BB cream like the Missha B one which has a great coverage, it is like foundation really x

Yes, I said in my 2 months surgery update video that I didn't realized how much my hoods were giving me that heavy feeling till I had the surgery and I don't have the need to lift my brows as high constantly now xx
No. The no make up make up is ridiculous. Takes longer to try to make it look like it’s invisible. And seriously who we kidding? Just put on a foundation that makes your face even toned. Maybe just go light handed.

Grass, flowers all of our gardens etc. It gets depressing for us having to deal with this. Well, we must lift up our chins Nisha and press on honey. Stay sweet and beautiful. I wear full make up everyday. Love the look and how I feel. I do wear skin tints when teaching fitness or when I was on vacation in Hawaii ( 3 years ago😞)💋👋
