I love that you brought up the need to reduce the plastic use! I support refill packaging in lieu of full packaging for their top products at a minimum.
Great video Dr. Ania Marie! I'm so glad you reviewed this brand which I love. I just hope that with the L'Oreal acquisition, the quality doesn't go to crap! My absolute favorite products are the Alto advanced and repair serum. It's such a gorgeous product! The cons for me are the price and packaging. My other favorite product is their tinted sunscreen. By the way, do you know if we need to use 6-8 pumps being the consistency is thicker than other sunscreens? I'm loving these series, and I'm looking forward to watching the Alastin review, another favorite brand! Thanks for all your hard work in making these videos for us! I appreciate you! ❤

We use Skinbetter in our practice. It is a great line. My very favorite product from them is the Interfuse Face and Neck Treatment cream. Definitely like Spanx in a bottle! We are not doing the AlphaRet peel, but i think we will check it out. Thanks for a great video!
I am a user of SkinBetter products and wondered how much retinol was in AlphaRet and they would not tell me! I found that frustrating BUT I will still use it!
Loved this so much! I have a deep love for skin better too. I sincerely hope L’Oréal doesn’t ruin skin better or I just might cry 😭 alto advanced, alpharet pads, and techno neck cream, and tone smart is my all time fav sunscreen it doesn’t make me oily like colorscience flex. What do you think about their detoxifying scrub mask and oxygen wash?

I’m just about to purchase a few Skin Better products, and I’m excited. I’m thinking of buying the refresh oxygen infusion wash and the refresh cleansing gel. I’m also going to splurge on the interfuse eye cream, as I really enjoyed your explanation of the biomimetic peptide they use. I hope I like these products.

Do you think the quality of products will come down after the 3 year mark? It makes sense there will be more R&D money but will they cheapen the products for a bigger profit?
I am 58 and use Tretinoin :1% every night on my face and neck with no irritation. Could I use the Alpharet a few nights a week instead of my tret or would I just be wasting my money?
You would not be wasting your money but you have 2 choices here. You could do alpharet over night a few nights a week, or you could keep tret and add the alpharet peel pads. It is a great chemical exfoliant
thank you for this video! i'd love to hear your opinion about the six ZO sunscreen lotions and gels that are currently available (i'm excluding the powder because, well, because it's a powder). there are so many choices - what defines one vs another... are there any you would recommend/not recommend and why... i'm also curious to know why you recommend the skinbetter science and colorscience sunscreens and not the ZO products... and just as an FYI: i DO use both the skinbetter science and colorscience sunscreens -- they are the only ones i use.
Truthfully, I don't love the ZO sunscreens as much as colorescience and alastiin. I don't recommend chemical sunscreen so that cuts the ZO batch in half. I know the new gel is beautiful (if you like chemical sunscreen). The new mineral sheer lotion is nice, that would be my favorite from ZO
I’m very concerned about the R&D - when hair products are purchased by L’Oreal they tend to get ‘watered down’ according to the salons and they no longer recommend them. I think it's concerning also but nothing will be in any way changed for the next 3 years and all of the original skinbetter team is still running the company

How do you choose between the skin clearing serum vs the overnight cream? If you have mild breakouts monkey during that time of the month which one would be better to use?
Ive used both and can say from experience, AlphaRet, while AMAZING did not keep my pores super clear. It made my skin glow and be even but it didn't clear out my pores. Clearing serum did the same things but also cleared out my pores.

I’m so curious about that Botox in a bottle product. How does it compare to the Revision one? That’s the one I’m testing now. Have you used it for some length of time? Can you tell if it truly gives any paralyses?
Skinbetter is only sold through physicians and med spas, so you can you my link. Yes I do think it's safe to buy on your own, depending on what products you are interested in. Some products come in "families" like alpharet clearing serum, alpharet overnight and alpharet intensive so you may need a little advice there to see what is best. But others like Even tone, Alto advanced etc, are pretty straight forward. 😊

Just started skinbetter almost all the products. have really only been doing tretinoin and hydroquinone on and off. Do you ever see pilling when putting on the tone liquid spf ? Or have any recommendations on how to avoid it? Love your videos!
I've had occasional pilling of products. The solution is not to mix them. ha ha My recent pilling disaster was the Alastin restorative skin treatment with the ZO hydrating creme. The don't like each other one bit!

Hard to say. In general, I would invest in a really good sunscreen like the skinbetter lotions (SPF 70 & 75). In some cases adding some retinol and exfoliation can be helpful. It depends on the individual but alpharet overnight cream can be helpful in some individuals.
Hi Dr. Anita. For my morning serum, I am debating which to purchase. I am 43 years old, dry dull skin, not very sensitive. I will be purchasing the skin better science retalpha for night. Would you purchase skinceuticals vitamin c for morning or skin better science alto ( what is the quality of the vitamin c in this product? I know it has so many antioxidants, would this be better vs just vit c from skinceuticals? Thank you!

yes absolutely, BUT I do believe it's important to have a professional customize a routine. The products are strong and you want them to work for you, not against you
Nowhere in the video do I mention climate or change, or any combination of the two. Plastic pollution is not controversial. My channel is about skin health not politics. I recommend channels of Russell Brand or reallygraceful, you'll be more aligned there and might try to leave positive comment. It could do you good.
