I don't think the guy was being aggressive. The point was if George Floyd had not died, would they have set foot in that area. Most of the time, it's more of tourist attractions than memorials. The ladies themselves said they didn't pay homage to the young men killed in their own state, which is easier to get to than Minnesota. Sure, they were visiting, but how long has it been since those murders happen in Ohio? They call us black people, which equals dead people. Which means the walking dead. Do you actually think they care about black on black crime? Only until we speak out about police brutality and white supremacy (which only exists in the mind because we could easily correct whats wrong in the house(our communities) and separate and do our thing to where we do not have to worry about all that) We can March down the street for the wrong doings against us by them, but what about marching for the wrong doings done by our people against our people. When are we gonna get tired of the violence at home? They repping a set that they never will own, and if their state officials come through and do gentrification, then they'll be without a set to rep because they own nothing. They'll be homeless looking at the very place they use to call home. Let's clean the inside of the house first and then move that mfa and actually own our communities we love so much. We are not savages. We are not uneducated, and we can work together in taking our kids back.
It's not aggressive. It's passionate. If more of us were passionate about our communities, then we would take them back instead. we have a lot of passive people that dont do anything. Feeling for his people and being tired of seeing his people being killed by their own hands and being killed by others. Instead of being irritated by his words, we need to listen. Seek out what we can do for our communities and clean it up. We can remember those killed in the comforts of homes, but what are we actually doing to stop it from happening again. He wasn't aggressive towards those women he was asking questions that made them feel uncomfortable, but they were valid questions. All those women wanted to do was take pictures and post and say they had been there as a lot of other people. A tourist attraction. We are the brown🤎 people. Our skin isn't black 🖤.
