Long ago I stopped using face wash and body wash. I use besan and I have witness drastic change in my skin quality. Now for past one week I have quit using shampoo, using reetha powder instead. And I can certainly feel the difference from the very first wash. The most prominent change is that I don't need to condition my hair anymore and my hair feels silky and bouncy at the same time!
So true , a super expensive brand like Forest essentials doesnot list 70-90% of their ingredients , mostly their products are full of alcohol and fragrance , natural artificial grain derived or whatever
Forest essentials is a very good brand. I actually benefitted with those products. It was a saviour for my skin when no other brand was working on my texture, dryness and pigmentation
I just found out about you today and I'm extremely pleased. No more getting recommended skincare and cosmetics that I can't find in my country for the life of me !

I studied in VLCC institute .... They would always give us VLCC products to use for our demos ... These products weren't suitable for most skin types... caused breakouts and never did what is claimed to do
I second that “ ingredient list “, I am always dubious with certain Indian brands that talk only of their “ key ingredients “ and I always wanna know what’s the whole list before purchasing !
Can you please do a video or something on Biotique? It's so so out there, affordable and honestly I've been using it for years BUT I recently got into skincare and Biotique does NOT print it's ingredients which seems super shady to me.. But there's not enough research on it either sigh
I have tons of nykaa and face shop sheet masks. I genuinely didn't know that they are not biodegradable! I have a brand new pack of Kaya facial wipes 😭 But thanks a TON to YOU for making us realise what we are doing! THANK YOUU 🥰
Completely agree. Stopped all this and focusing on a scientific and proper skincare routine targeting specific problems instead. And I happily forget face packs now. 😊
Seriously, it's so annoying when they don't mention all the ingredients, and list their key ingredients which just make up to 1%-2% of the product, that too proudly
Forest Essentials do disclose their full ingredients list, but in bigger Packaging only. Their facial cleanser has got mild surfactants coco glucoside and decyl glucoside. I'm on my second bottle.

Unless you have specific skin conditions like acne, eczema or rosecea, you don't need a bunch of skin care products. All you need is a cleanser, moisturizer and an SPF. Pls don't fall into this "influencer culture" and end up using a lot of unwanted ingredients into your face. And always do consult a dermatologist before using anything on your skin. Influencers are here to sell the products they are sponsored for, pls don't look upto them for advice. They are hiding behind filters and Photoshop trying to tell you some overpriced cream changed their skin
@@theduskygirl1093 even water is a chemical and natural doesn't mean better or effective. The idea is to use less and targeted products for your skin. If you have clear skin, all you need is a cleanser, moisturizer and SPF. If you have acne, you can use specific products for acne, like benzyl peroxide, niacinamide, retinoids etc. In short, not everyone needs everything and products should be kept minimal.
This is very informative. I also don't use facial wipes, sheet mask and products that don't give proper information about their ingredients. Also about facial kits I use dermdoc facial kit because it has niacinamide.
I am a Forest essentials fan. I use a lot of products from forest essentials. But i am curious to hear more on them specially from skin care expert's perspective. Specially on their claims and if any alternatives without harsh and toxic chemicals
We cant change everything around us. So start with the things which can be changeable by us. She cant do anything about packaging tho.Not gonna lie my neighbours still throw garbages on thw road if they couldnt come across the dustbin. Watchmen have told them many a times but still they wont listen. We cant do anyhing about it but i atleast me and few decent neighbours do follow the rules so thats enough.
Sorry to say...instead of using expensive brands aloevera gel I love to use patanjali aloe gel coz m being using it for past 8years n after using too many big claims of many brands n skin issues I end with patanjali ...really it worked n I simply use patanjali aloe gel instead of any retinol spf creams or aha bha serums...my skin is crystal clear n glowing all thnks to patanjali it's too affordable n value product ...I look way more younger thn my age kinda teenage...my advice don't use any rubbish or asmr skincare better go with simple n authentic one product coz the facial skin is tender n all these regular touch with various chemical product will harm skin only n that's my experience.
You know I am actually using Patanjali aloe vera gel And it has really helped me for curing my acne and I have used it in growing my hair. So I will buy this but not others as per ur reviews . Also thanks for upgrading our mind before buying these ❤❤
