Omg it was so relaxing to watch, she is so professional and did the most amazing natural make up. Prefer that so much more than the heavy tutorials that i see on the internet ❤️❤️❤️ Isabel needs her own RU-vid channel please
To whoever is reading this keep going, you're doing fine! No matter how slow your progress, each new week is filled with tiny steps forward. Be proud of yourself you got this! Wishing u a blessed and joyful New Year 2024❤
That's beautiful. Thank you for the time you have taken, to think, elaborate the writing. It does amaze me and move me. Thank you very much. I wish you the rebirth and renewal of your whole unique human essence. Take care. Kind regards.
You are a very happy, loving person to do such a selfless thing to make someone else’s day a better one with such a kind statement. Thank you. It makes me realize there are still kind people in the world. Happy New Year 🎆🎊
I absolutely love it. Simplicity and elegance are paired together to make a stunning yet natural look! Shereene's skin is beautiful naked but this makeup adds that glow and glass finish look!
This is so timelessly, elegant, yet so simple to follow. Thank you, Dr. Shereene and Isobel…. Probably the most I’ve learned on any RU-vid tutorial in the last five years. And yes, I do use one side of the brush, and then something different on the other. Saves having to clean another brush. Lol
You look great! She did a wonderful job. I look at the side of the brush I am using. I would also like to know what type or brand of brushes she used - especially for the blush. Thank you.
I love watching somebody that so good at that job , that they do it effortlessly! Goat mountain of makeup artist , she’s done this for like over 10,000 hours
this is the kinda makeup that is so subtle and nice...to the point men think it's you not wearing makeup when you very much are. even though it's not a super glam look...it still is a number of steps. but subtle. i like this kinda look the best, i can't replicate a lot on myself if it's too much, it just looks wrong to me lol. and i still suck at makeup no matter having watching videos about it for 15+ yrs (and no i don't pay attention to the side of the brush. never thought about that--see what i mean about not knowing anything)
I learned about Isabel from Whitney Port podcast and I am following her on IG ever since - she is super lovely, talented with fantastic product recs :)
One of the best tips I use as well is to “tight line” between the gaps in the lashes. It may seem a little choppy up close, but as you view from a little further out, it will appear to be fully filled in. I use Maybelline Hyper Easy liquid pen which is cheap, very fine and waterproof. I then add a powder shadow on top with a thin angle brush to soften the look.
😊 I started using lanolin in residency as lip balm! Those NICU nights were so drying on my lips. Best thing I ever and triple paste as hand cream. Nearly 20 years and still a habit.
Shereene - this makeup looks AMAZING and PERFECT for your skin tone. It is natural looking and has a pretty glow...almost as if you're not wearing any makeup. I LOVE IT.
Really great video today ladies!!! I wanted to ask if you've seen studies about the effects of consuming too much vitamin B12 and B6 causing serious issues with acne and rosacea? I was having serious problems with acne and stopped taking my multivitamin and within a month my face was nearly cleared up. I tried just taking half a multivitamin and my skin flared up literally overnight. The amount of B12 and B6 in all multivitamin brands I've found so far contain exorbitant amounts of these vitamins. I don't understand why these companies are going overboard with this. If you are aware of this issue and agree it's a problem, could you please sound the alarm? People are shifting into weight loss gear this time of year so I really want people to be more mindful of the supplements they are taking to improve their health. It might actually be doing harm. Thank you for your amazing content, Doctor. Looking forward to your next video!!
Can't help admiring your lip and forehead shapes, and the skin is of course, immaculate 💜💖. I'm one of those who pays attention to which side of the brush I colour on 😂. Well done ladies, then again what do you expect when an artist and model come together. Happy 2024, may it be kinder to all of us 🎊💝
Hi Dr Shereene! 😁 Love your videos! I'm all the way in South Africa so I can't always find the products you recommend, please could you do a video or short on what bad/good ingredients to look out for in different products, like in retinol, cleansers, etc. Thank you! 🌸
Question: Can you please make a video on dermatology procedures for under eye hollows? Ive seen doctors now saying fillers are not safe as they can go behind the eye area and last for many years, getting puffier in time. What are other options then? Fat transfers? etc. Thank you
I 100% agree with your comment about eyebrows framing the face, @pillowtalkderm!!! I had cancer 20 years ago; my head hair fell out due to my chemo (I was blonde), but my eyebrows didn't. My hair grew back in dark brunette. For years I couldn't figure out what was missing from my face ... UNTIL I got my makeup done for my sister's wedding, and they penciled in my eyebrows. That was it!!! My light blonde eyebrows were no longer doing my face justice because my brunette hair overpowered them. I started penciling them in (eventually getting them microbladed), and my face looks so much better now! P.S. I love your channel and all your advice! You seriously rock, and also: my skin has never looked better! I also suffered from melasma, but between your Pillowtalk Derm product line and Dr. Dennis Gross' Universal Daily Peel Pads that you also recommended, I can barely tell anymore. Even my friends have commented on the improvement! Thank you so much, Dr. Idriss!!! And keep up the awesome work!!! ♥️😘
Also, I get eyelash extensions, because my eyelashes are short and stubby (post-chemo 😢). I don't know how you feel about eyelash extensions overall, but I ADORE mine! It makes me feel like I have part of my makeup done all the time, and I think it brightens up my eyes.
Hi, thank you for this video! It was a great idea to mix up with some make-up tips I'm so grateful for that I found you, I have been looking for these type of content for years If you have the time, i would love some videos of typical home-beauty hacks Like ice cubes in the morning, facial massages and oils (even essencial oils) or how to use aloe vera leaf and how to make home-facemasks. But these are some ideas, there are many others and I'm having a hard time to find reliable reviews. Anyway, thanks again for the hard work you put into your videos I love all of them!
I don't really even wear makeup anymore (a blessing of my 40's is I don't feel compelled to wear makeup anymore) but I have always paid attention to what side of the brush has the shadow/powder/product on it. But I never realized I did that until this video! Ha
I love this type of make up BUT I can’t use it on my face as it is super sticky. My hair gets stuck to my face, every time I would slightly touch my face I have product on my fingers so I start leaving fingerprints everything I touch. For that reason, I’m applying translucent powder although I would LOVE to just finish it with just foundation. PLEASE ADVISE!!!
Sorry, I'm crashing this thread to say "me too", except with me it's more that it accentuates the textured areas. I have dry skin What would you suggest?@@edminaliutke1110
Hi Dr. Shereene, could you provide your opinion on the NuDerma High Frequency Wand? I've been seeing it all over TikTok lately and can't decide if it's worth the money. Thanks, love your videos! SkinNerd since 2019!
