Body moisturizer tip: put a Japanese moisture toner in a fine mist bottle. Use it to spray your body and face quickly. I keep mine in the shower and spray myself before I get out. I use whichever toner is cheapest. It’s usually Naturie or Hado Labo. They come in large refill bags too.
I started using K-Beauty thanks to Dr. Dray. Love Skin1004 serum she was talking about in this video. My favorite! I also use CeraVe ointment by squeezing into lip tubes from Amazon to have it in lip balm form in my purse for a few cents a tube. Thanks Dr. Dray!!!!
My mind is made up about the Cetaphil serum, and I'm ordering it tonight! My morning skincare routine is merely a splash of cold water and then sunscreen, but I've been feeling the need for something extra for hydration. Thanks for all of these helpful videos!
I really value your opinion on anything dealing with skincare. I have previously purchased all of the products you discussed in this video and love them all! My skin looks better now in my 50's than it has in years. I've also suffered with KP on my arms and dry skin on my face and all of that is gone now that I've incorporated products you've recommended. the prequel ointment is excellent. the texture and slip is so much better than other ointments I've tried. It feels and looks great on the lips. Has a nice sheen but not overly greasy. I agree for the price point it should be in a bigger tube. I like the tube though rather than a giant jar.
That cicaplast gel is amazing, it’s my favorite product I’ve used around my eyes. And for just any overall areas where I want some extra hydration/protection
I've been using the Cerave oil cleanser as my second cleanse in my nighttime routine since you first talked about it and I love it. You'd be surprised at how much product is left in pump or tube packaging. Believe me, I know because I get them open any way I can. Lol! I've been using this for a couple of weeks and no, it does not remove all the makeup or sunscreen. Even if you use it twice, but so far I do like it. I am also experiencing small irritated bumps across my forehead and down the bridge of my nose. I'm hoping I will get used to the cleanser, but doubtful. Just to clarify, I do not use makeup on my forehead. 😊
I absolutely love that Skin1004 pro bio serum/ampoule. it has so nice slippery texture. I think people with all skin types would love it. I have oily skin. I suggested this to my sister, who has dry skin, and she said it is one of the favorite serums of hers now. When I finish my 50ml one, I will buy the jumbo size :)
I have changed from CeraVe lotion to cream for my face and have noticed a big difference in my fine lines that I have are a little less noticeable and more hydrated.
@@Lilah1754 actually it was just regular CeraVe lotion not pm. And yes it’s the little tub CeraVe moisturizing cream with 3 essential ceramides. I never thought of it about the difference between lotion and cream. Hope that helps
I really love your empties videos Dr Dray, so informative. Btw, if you have post retinoid dryness or peeling of skin, I thoroughly recommend La Roche Posay Lipikar Baume AP+M. Really soothing, and can be used as a night-time moisturiser, and is also in a bigger tube so you get more bang for your buck! ❤

I have the cerave oil cleanser. I much prefer the la roshe posay gentle foaming cleansing oil. I also fell in love with the naturium mandellic body wash. I can't believe that I paid 16.00 for a bodywash. I have 2 backups because they had a memorial day sale. I also bought a moisturizer in a blue container. It's a water gel. It's good to put under sunscreen and makeup
7:06 I bought 1l bottle of the advanced one on Amazone after one of your videos, and although I understand what you mean by the texture issue, it works well enough for me even for my feet! They unfortunately don’t have a “blue lotion” bottle of the same size, otherwise I would’ve have ordered both of them. I like, that they are cheap and can be used all over the body. I also have atopic dermatitis and eczema, and the advanced one helps it very much!

Dr Dray would the La Roche Posay B5 gel cause millia around the eyes? I am prone to them, but have dryness under the eyes and sometimes on the eye lids, and thought this might be a nice “eye cream”
Can you do a video on the beekman 1802 products vs pharmacy products. Is it worth the money? Also of you could do one on acne removing tools? I feel like dermentologist probably hate that people buy these. I am assuming a lot of scaring but I've never used them so I don't know.
Re: the summer facial moisturizer video, Versed has a gel moisturizer without niacinamide and fragrance free. It's their Dew Point Moisturizing Gel Cream. It's got green tea leaf extract, aloe, glycerin, and HA.

Dr Dray has done skincare device videos but the one she's recommended has been the LED mask from Omnilux and the iRestore helmet. A lot of derms don't necessarily recommend a lot of skincare devices. They usually stick with an LED mask and the iRestore helmet. They all say none of these devices will do anything if you don't use them regularly. And they tend to recommend in-office devices as more effective/productive.
@@db-gb5xi Thank you for the info, the problem is my skin doesnt respond well to LED, i get hyperpigmentation! Was wondering if there are alternate at home devices i could incorporate instead:)
@@keertishyam1222 It's going to definitely depend on the derm. Like I've seen one or two who talk about the Nuface but others who aren't crazy about it (Dr Dray has a video on it). The channels that test/use different typesof devices/modalities are usually esty channels (as far as professionals go). The Organic Esthetician has a number of devices that she's got videos and demos on. Go See Christy is another esty who's done demos on RF devices like Myolift and Bio Therapeutics. Penn Smith Skincare is another.
2:04 I use it both as my face and body wash, and so does my husband. We switch between Cerave, LRP, Bioderma and Neutrogena, and we order those online, because there’s always 1l (33.8 FL.OZ) for the price you’ll never find in store.
Dr Dray I noticed you saying you don’t wash your face in the morning and I know you use tretinoin . I’ve always had the doubts whether I should or shouldn’t wash it since I apply it almost everyday.

I tried the skin1004 cream ( sample) and at first touch reminded me of snail cream! Dr dray- a new brightening serum by Nine less is out called B-boost kojic acid serum ( something along those lines) was recently released. Would love to know your thoughts on this product- great ingredients list for helping hyperpigmentation. Looks promising ( hopefully the ingredients and formula is stable!)
I watch lots of Dr Dray's video but didn't notice any of them mentioning her skin type..?! How am I supposed to refer her recommendation without knowing her skin type?
From what she has said in the past, I would say she has sensitive skin. She has said she is not oily or dry so normal in that regard. But she has shared she does have facial eczema, primar😢 around the mouth,and has mentioned that in her videos.
She has normal skin, with eczema. She also lives in a humid climate. She has eczema on hands and legs, prone to dryness. Also has hard water. She suffered from facial discoloration in the past but that seems to be resolved now
I noticed the Cetaphil Serum says "retinol alternative"...does that mean I can't the same day as my tretinoin? I was gonna use this in the AM and tret at night. Does anyone use both in the same day? Thanks!
It has peptides and no retinoids. It's been recommended for folks who can't tolerate them. It should be fine to use with an actual retinoid but you can check her full review of it.
Thanks for sharing. I have the Lupiderm available in Canada too so I will definitely buy it at my local drugstore once my Aveeno bottle is empty. However, I often have the desire of buying the Cetaphil randiance brightening C serum but I don't buy products if I don't know your opinion about them so I was wondering if you've ever tried it. Dr. Dray ❤ I adore SKIN1004 and was interested in the probiocica line… but was afraid that the serum and moisturizer would break me out? I have seriously sensitive, rosacea prone skin that is reactive to everything 😢 which is why I adore the brand so much- the centella is so wonderful for my skin! But I worry about how many oils are in the moisturizer…. Do you think it’s too emollient ? I usually use lighter gel creams during the day, but since starting tretinoin, it seems my nighttime moisturizer isn’t enough because I’m waking up flaky and red…. So I’m hoping this moisturizer would be nourishing enough without breaking me out 🙏🏻♥️
Hi Dr. Dray ! Is it ok to use skincare that has Lactobacillus Ferment with retinol or the day after retinol? Because i read that Lactobacillus Ferment is a gentle exfolitating agent, but i'm scared because i'm not sure how gentle it is

Can I use my healthy renew purifying peptides with my adapalene at night? can I also use it in the morning with my pure vitamin C I don't think the product has copper peptides but I was just curious if it is safe
Probably as long as you're not allergic to anything in them. They both have peptides. The cetaphil has niacinamide and the no7 has a vit c derivative and retinyl ester which Dr Dray has said is an antioxidant and not an actual retinoid.
Why would it? It’s not an oil. They just call it that. I found it to be a drying lightly foaming cleanser. I had to use it up as hand wash. Too drying for my face.
Dr Dray i really enjoy and appreciate your opinion on skincare. Saw a video by the RU-vid name The Rouge Dermatologist. I've watched several of his short videos and maybe Im misunderstanding his viewpoint, but he seems very much against washing your face with cleansers, using serums and moisturizers. Also no need to wash your hair. He says there is no need in using these products. From what ive seen he says all you need is petroleum jelly, coconut oil, avocado oil, sunflower oil to remove makeup and just water to wash your face with. Was wondering what your thoughts where on his ideas and veiwponts.
I'm surprised the doctor says she moisturizes so much. I've read that over moisturizing can be a detriment to the skin and can inhibit healing in some cases.
Can you please address tranexmic acid and if it really works? Lab Muffin Beauty Science said she believes it does not work in "most" products. Didn't specify what products. I'm paying for rx tret that has tranexmic acid in it. If it doesn't work I don't want it nor do I want to spend the money. Can you clear this up. Please and thank you if you do. I trust your opinion because you will tell the truth and that's all I'm looking for.
