Great video . Especially enjoyed your explanation of Obagi’s perspective on tretinoin vs retinol. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer these questions : very informative and helpful ❤
Extremely disappointed that you don't list the product you mention. We've become accustomed to that because all of the other, or pretty much all of the other podcasters carefully list, in order, every item they've mentioned. To get a handle on the items you've mentioned, will require going back and listening to this at least once again and doing our best to write it all down.
The suggestion above was good, but whoever wrote " Extremely disappointed was a bit overboard and harsh..These videos are amazing and the content is fantastic and I think we should be more grateful and appreciative and a little less harsh. A nicely said suggestion would have done the trick OR perhaps starting with a compliment and then a mild suggestion would have been pleasant. These content creators put their everything into making these. I appreciate the time and energy. I will also say that I learn so much and I'm actually in tge skincare world.
@@j-ru5527the problem with that is there are SEVERAL comments referring to her not mentioning products and she always says she’ll list or talk about them and never does. That eventually gets frustrating especially since she knows it’s what we’re all looking for.
Thank you for your knowledge. I love watching your videos! Always interesting and professional!😊 I use Alterno tretinoin.05% and I have no irritation. I can use it every night. Someone with dry skin, like myself, may find less irritation with the Alterno brand tretinoin.
Love all your videos! I'm 56 and I use tretinoin 0.05% every other night and at the moment I'm using the MDAire RXR Retinol on alternating nights. Has a good delivery system and I like it. Not sure if I really need it with tret but I like the MDAire formulation with the other added ingredients. How do you feel about Growth Factors vs. Peptides? Dr. Kappel prefers Peptides instead. Would love to know your thoughts on this. Alastin and SkinBetter don't use GF's that I'm aware of. Thank you!!!!
I'm with Dr. Kappel on this one, 100% BUT there is a very big BUT - the peptides must be a good formulation because otherwise they are a complete waste of money. Peptides are big molecules so if they don't have a sophisticated delivery system, they will just sit on the skin.
Just found your channel and am enjoying your videos! What do you think of skinceuticals age eye cream? Anything you'd recommend over that? Thanks for the content!
I am never a fan of any product in a jar because it allows for contact with air, bacteria and fungi. It requires higher concentrations of preservatives and allows active ingredients to oxidize. So just that alone would make me turn away. My favorite eye creams are the Skinbetter interfuse eye and eyemax (with retinol) and the Alastin restorative eye treatment. Sophisticated formulations, great ingredients. To contrast open jar, packaging; skinbetter products are in a vacuum chamber with a coat of nitrogen lining at the top to keep the products fresh and maintain actives. Those are the invisible benefits of a great brand. 🌸
It depends on what you are treating. For example; hair restoration involves PRP injections into the scalp. You don't have to microneedle. And equally so, you cold inject PRP into the face.
The Pro light stim is awesome. The handheld - I don't recommend unless you want a focal treatment. I have this an it takes too long to cover your whole face. A facemask LED is more efficient.
