Mushroomhead is by FAR at the top of the echelon when it comes to amazing and original live sets. I love standing in front of one of the giant bass drums getting cold water sprayed on me with each hit, lol. Soooo metal. \m/

I had the pleasure of my band being recorded by skinny and pat in the early 2,000’s. They were so knowledgeable and professional and creative and gracious. It was such an honor to get to spend time with them and work alongside with skinny. He was so inspiring and I’ve been recording music on my own ever since just with the foundational knowledge that he bestowed upon me and for that I will forever be grateful.
They could be so much bigger and get the recognition they deserve if they were just better at the internet. Also if they toured with these younger more popular bands i think it would kill. Like Motionless or INK would be a killer show. Get in front of younger crowds and keep this thang alive
No man, they've gotten plenty of chances and exposure over the years. The reason they havent blown up is because they're dysfunctional. In person, Ive seen them get in a fist fight on stage and end the show early over it. Skinny is the only original member and he doesn't even play drums anymore. Every ex member says he's the problem. I'm surprised they got Gravy back. I met him once after a show, before he got fired. Dude went on for 20 minutes about how much he hated being in Mushroomhead. They're a glorified cover band now.
@@Jasonxknot this is the only band with internal problems? The only band to ever change members? Stop people said the same shit about Corey and Clown. Did that hamper them? What about when Journey changed singers? When Ozzy left Sabbath?
If Mushroomhead ever tours with Disturbed then they would have a much bigger stage performance & a huge crowd which also equals having the greatest chances of gaining so much recognition & momentum. And I care less what these douchebag haters say otherwise.
I dont know how i feel about this lineup. The entire band has essentially been replaced. Skinny works on the drums part-time? The music is good, but it's not the band.
Mushroomhead isn’t the same without Jeffrey Nothing and Jmann, I don’t care for Jackie being in the band, I’ll give it to her that she’s talented but I believe herself and Skinny ran this band straight to the grave, I listened to the new music once and didn’t even bother listening to it again. Sorry this used to be one of my favorite bands till they kept snowballing down the hill
I don't understand how you can call it Mushroomhead without the unique, awesome voice of Jeffery Nothing. But I'm stupid so forgive me. I can't get into the new stuff and female singers don't impress me because unless it's not aggressive enough but I'm stupid and like Black Metal.
I don't like the female singer. Nothing against her it's just off putting for mushroomhead. If it was the same band with a different name I probably would feel different.
As a Christian the lyrics and themes this time around seem to be on the nose of promoting the devil, mocking Jesus on prepackaged, im gonna have to pass.
