Nice. My first concert for puopy was Hamilton Ontario Canada early late 80s or 90s .. was wild time. I think i was 15-16 years old. Cost $5 at the door. Seen them many times but missed last two tours unfortunately. Buddy of mine caught them couple months ago in the states. Youre Lucky mate. Cheers.

Super cute noises with good lyrics makes this a cracking tune! I'm totally new to SP too!!! ( even tho I was around in the 1980s!!...Just could never afford to buy everything on offer!) It's great to read they get so much love on here too. 🖤🎹🖤
I'm supporting any commercialisation of Skinny Puppy because the lyrics are so great. Music, effects, is only a sideffect. The ideas are what matters. Messages they're conveying. In this world where visual rules [boobs, sex, ... pretty much nothing else] it is rather important that people recognise the importance of a message through art.
Evolution... SP as it should sounds today... Really enjoying to pure industrial sound... Modern, simple and pure samples... OhGr finally has its own competition :-). Go on guys...
I like the sampling from the early days but this is still good stuff. I've heard that getting the rights to use samples has gotten too expensive and it just takes too long to get clearance that's why many bands don't use them anymore. Besides, finding all those cool Outer Limits/Twilight Zone/Horror samples was Dwayne's Goettel's job.
loving this! very much reminds me of their older tunes, just upgraded sound quality (not that there was anything wrong with the quality in the first place... has always been wonderful)
Guess this most likely will be their last album. Fitting they tried to make it sound like their first album, like they came full circle in a way I suppose.
I don't know why but I love the album art. It reminds me the 16bit era of graphics and aesthetics for some reason. Also looks like it came from a contra game
Jim, I saw them in 1986 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They were young,I was young. They scared the hell out of me. It took me years to get over that show.Back in the 1980s, this band left you in a state of shock.There was just word of mouth how insane it might get. Skinny Puppy delivered.

dont appreciare vocals that much. prefer more harsh or more aggressive or more melodic but this nasal voice.......filtered but ...not convinced. still i love skinny legends. i just listened to cevin key back and forth 8 on vynil very early skinny stuff from the 80s. lovely...........................
but skinny puppy was skinny puppy before dwayne joined them, i imagine if remission was released today, there would still be the same complaints as you listed.
bill leeb didn't write any of the material for skinny puppy. the material was already written. not to knock bill at all because i like fla but he really didn't contribute to skinny puppy as far musical compositions. and mark walk has been in the scene for a very long time starting off with pigface. everyone wants to try to blame mark walk for the direction skinny puppy has taken when if you listen to both cevin and ogre solo projects you can hear where the infusion comes from. but people change and their taste is music changes as well as the musicians making music, i guess they could have done like the rolling stones and pretty much not changed anything and keep repeating themselves on every album and keep releasing last rites version 4 to appease the older fans.
As one who has seen them & partied with them when they toured in the 90's I agree with some that this song is pretty cool.....other than the Cher-esque Life after love voice mod at 1:24 which is so over used. But that's it, the rest of the album blows. I'm glad this song shows what is possible when you stick with the original plan but use some modern equip but the rest is exactly what cEVIN complained about when Jourgensen appeared on RABIES saying it was not true to form and sell out.
