I have no idea if it's true, or where I even heard it, but for some reason I remember there being a rumor among the aerobatic pilot community that if they got the call that Skip Stewart had crashed and met his fiery end, nobody would have been surprised. Apparently he takes risks that guys like Sean Tucker, Rob Holland or Kirby Chambliss wouldn't dare to do.
