I expected Dave's solo to be similar to Pikachu's in the sense that he can't talk like most humans, but while I enjoyed both performances, Dave's roasts just seemed to be better. Needless to say, the translator really saved Dave here, as nobody would understand what he was saying otherwise. For this creativity alone, my vote's on Dave. Though, I'll be fine regardless of who wins.

I find it wholesome when Dave always tries his best to help Verbalase I also thought he won because his beatbox was catchy and his roasts were even better! I especially loved when the minions helped Dave through his beatbox and this is probably the best ending to a beatbox I’ve ever seen 5:38 Also the fact Dave helps ace is wholesome

I personally love both solos but Dave's made me sing along, unlike skippers. I also love how they gave Dave a translator so we can understand his roasts, and they went HARD! Of all of the unexpected events that took place on Cartoon Beatbox Battles, Dave being able to spit bars in a sing-along has to be one of the most unexpected. If the bars Dave spat didn't help him win, I don't know what will. This kind of makes me wonder what Dave and the other Minions have in store for Shadow and Vegeta.

I was hoping it would be Skipper vs Perry instead but okay. Btw. Skipper's beatbox was awesome but Dave's beatbox was surprising so I would have to give my vote to him.

Skipper was good, but Dave's was just better. Animation of mind controlled Ase was amazingly smooth. Very well done by the animators.

Skipper's solo was slightly above mid, to be honest. His roasts are pretty vague (apart from the first two lines or so) but the beatboxing was decent. Dave, meanwhile, had some killer roasts and really hit home. He also had an incredibly good and rare rhythm. His flow was so much better than Skipper's and I think overall Dave's performance is just objectively better in every way possible. I guarantee no one expected Dave to sing this banger, but man are we glad to hear it. Edit: Listening to it again makes me seriously consider Dave's performance to be the best solo in all of CBB. His performance is just absolutely stellar and fits the objective of the show perfectly. He did what he was told to and did it with style.

I gotta give it to Dave. The rhythm, the flow, and the beatbox was too clean.

Dave for me. The beat was smooth, and so was the end. I like him using Dug's collar to talk. I also noticed that Skipper only attacked Dave verbally, but Dave took it to another level with his mind games. I also liked the reference to the Rabbids. I'm glad I'm not the only one to see the similarities with the Minions.
