100% worth doing while visiting Queenstown! It's a 3-hour activity including the scary drive on the Skippers road (by a driver) but I'm going to recommend it to everybody!
Whenever I see these videos I wonder about the maintenance and mechanicals of the boat. I know these captains are very experienced and skilled with driving, but they get so close there is really no room for any error. If a steering linkage failed, or the engine has a slight momentary hiccup you would lose all steering and 40 miles an hour into a cliff in rapids wouldn't be ideal.
