Wooo, a skirk theme!! Act 1 gives a sort of night starry sky vibe, a bit somber, similar to Enkanomiya and other abyss-like areas, its really soothing and quite beautiful.. Act 2 is really epic with the choir and strings! Like your cloud retainer theme, it feels more like a cutscene, transitioning from a flashback of past life in the abyss to a fighting some unknown force, perhaps the abyss twin? All in all the buildup was great and you did splendid as always! (And at the end there's this somewhat ominous and foreboding feeling that is the cherry on top)

I really love your composition! The first phase set the mood of fear and mystery toward the unknown, followed by transition to the second phase which heighten the sense of impending danger that no one can comprehend yet. Going a bit deeper, the second phase has a very distinct leitmotif that truly captures the essence of the Abyss - deadly but powerful when harnessed. It bears some resemblance to Childe's battle theme at the very beginning. Great stuff!

Amazing, well structured theme Sumes! That transition from Chrysalis to Imago felt so cool, and I absolutely love the contrast to to the solo violin in the first one to the second one. Almost every new upload of yours becomes my new favorite ahaha

Well Skirk theme would use EDM for sure, but since you don't do that then I guess this is fine as a standalone piece.

Wooaw music in 2 acts! :OOO It's such a classy concept I love it :DDD The first is very calm but serious, and in the second we feel Skirk's power explode! The voices give the theme a Fatui vibe, which suits her very well as her apprentice is a Fatui ^^ Just out of curiosity, why did you choose these names for acts 1 & 2? In any case wonderful work!!! I've noticed you're doing more fan-made these times, the quality is incredible, you never stop improving, keep it up you have my full support!!!! :D

@@sumes Oooh I love the meaning! It makes for a nice story behind the theme, I was right to ask ^^ Btw, I think I know why Skirk reminds you of a butterfly... It's because she's got a design very Star Rail like, and the best representation of Star Rail designs is Seele, and Seele is clearly based on butterflies theme, since they both look a bit alike, so you must have subconsciously made the connection and likened Skirk to a butterfly. That's my theory xD

This is great as always but it gets a bit dull towards the end, should have made it rave like the whale. genshin has a habit of sucker punching people in weekly boss themes (because let’s be real what else would Skirk be). In other words, leitmotif from the chasms, beautiful. Should have use the one from the whale to tho.

hoyomix's "unfollowable" and "out of place" themes are fine but themes with a good following of base sounds more comforting to me you did it pretty good nice job
