So weird to see this video, this is a totally true story: 20 years ago, when I was a new Christian, I was frustrated because I felt I wasn't growing in God fast enough. I was praying before going to bed one Saturday night and asking God why I was still struggling with some worldly issues and not being more like Him. I fell asleep and had a dream that night that woke me up, but didn't remember the dream the next morning. I went to church the next morning and while singing during praise and worship, God brought the dream back to my memory. The dream was God standing next to a partially finished sculpture (me) with a hammer and chisel in his hands. He was taking his time to make sure to place the chisel in the exact spot it needed to be to make sure to remove the waste and create the masterpiece that he wanted. I felt very strongly that he wanted me to know that he was being careful to be very precise in the placement of the chisel not to ruin the sculpture. As I saw this vision in my mind, God said " A master does not create a masterpiece in one day. I have never forgotten this experience.

"I thought you were a carpenter." "That's my son." I died. These guys are hilarious.

These guys are masters at delivering messages! They keep you entertained with a light and humorous tone but then they floor you with a message like a ton of bricks!!! Amen!

Idk if I'm ready to chisel out. I don't feel like a masterpiece. If any y'all see this please pray for me. 🙏🏻

The date shows this skit being released in 2011, but, just like God's word, it is a "right now", timeless message. Thank you, men of God for reminding God's people that we are enough and we are His masterpiece! Father, please pour back into the lives of your faithful servants, Tommy and Eddie and their crew, as they continue to pour into hundreds of thousands of people. Bless them to prosper physically, financially and shower them with Your peace and comfort. In Jesus name, amen.

Something always pulls me back to this video. The first time I saw it, I cried. Even though I was in public (it was a christian youth group).This video is amazing.

Man that was an amazing skit.. It brought me to tears a couple of different times. It really hit home for me personally. I am 37 years old, I have an amazing wife and a beautiful and brilliant 3 year old son. I have not been a good father or husband for quite a while now. I feel completely lost and totally useless. I'm stuck in a huge rut.. It seems as if life keeps getting harder the older I get. I want Jesus back in my life.... Watched this few years ago, couldn’t relate. Few days ago crying to God in prayer saying I am tired I can’t take it anymore, he said I am building you and this video which I watched only once played in my mind. I came back to watch it again and wow! I get it now. Lord I get it now🥺😭😭

I don't remember how long ago I first saw this video but that night, I prayed that God would chisel me and make me my masterpiece. At first I felt just all around happier. At peace. Things were easy. I don't really know why I thought that just because things were easy that my prayers were immediately answered and I was chiseled. One of the grossest sins I have struggled with for so long became so big these past two weeks and I didn't know why. I felt awful and kept falling back into the sin. A few days ago I remembered this video and remembered how much he was fighting God throughout the whole process. It was so hard to let go and let God chisel. And it clicked. It hasn't made this process easier by any means. BUT, it does give me hope. It gives me hope that this painful process is God answering my prayers, that this will pass and I will be closer to God because of it. Now I know a lot of people will just skip over this, but I pray whoever is struggling in sin and has asked God to chisel them, that they read this and find hope and comfort in my experience. What he said about we are either moving towards God or away from Him is true. I fell away for a period of time and now I am having to deepen my relationship with God. The great thing about the LORD is He is merciful to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Return to Him my brother's and sister's. It is not about the blessings, but about knowing Jesus.

Stumbled onto this today and it came at such a perfect time. I just. Felt like junk today. I have a law degree fresh from university but no training contract. I sold my beautiful car in the UK to return home to take care of my parents. I colossally ruined things between me and this lovely girl years back in high school and that still haunts me. Today I woke up, looked myself in the mirror and went "Wow. What a joke. There is nothing going for me." Then I had a fit at God about making me this way. Then I felt guilty because I made those stupid choices, not God. Then it just went back to feeling like junk because how else would I have made those choices if I wasn't junk? This video from 12 years ago was an amazing reminder. To take heart, have hope, not feel guilty and trust in his plan to mould me into His masterpiece. Thank you God for today. Wow! Perfect timing! I am feeling overwhelmed and filled with anxiety. The small things are starting to get to me. I am feeling unsettled. I have to communicate to family about plans of moving on. Taking care of our soon to be 90 year old mom and living in a house that is in need of many repairs but my brother, the one who bought the house with me is stringing me along. Not wanting to budge but after praying to God asking to send me an advocate I feel strong in being able to have an outlet. Knowing that I am making a move for betterment of our lives it's still overwhelming. I feel peaceful at times and then boom, I get stuck. I know this change has to occur and I know it's with God's blessing. I just wish I could have had tgis settled with brother without me having to take all the extra steps. BUT, I know that this is what God wants because He has reminded me that He created me and wants me to be the strong person He created because I know He walks with me. I know I am the apple of His eyes. I tried holding on to that when I first heard it but every now and then forgot it. Thank you for this beautiful reminder. I truly appreciate it. God bless us all. Eleven years this video has been out, and I didn't see it until today. I have been struggling with all of the same things this video talks about. God has always had a way, throughout my whole life, of putting just the right message in front of me at just the right time, in just the right way. I cannot count the number of times a Sunday service spoke directly to my heart. Or the number of times I've turned on a Christian radio station and heard exactly the song I needed to hear in that moment. I've finally learned that hearing God speak to us does not have to be about a thundering voice out of the heavens, it's the whispers we miss if we aren't paying attention. It's the words of a stranger, a situation that happens, could be anything. For me, today, it was this video. Thank you for posting this, I know it's over a decade old now but this will never not be relevant, and you are still being used by God to reach people even now.

This is a staple for me. It helps me remember who and what I am in a society that is designed to be that other than godly.

My religion teach showed us this video today and it was soooo beautiful that I ended up crying🙏🏼

I remember watching this video with my youth group one night almost 10 years ago. I only understood it from the surface. I am 22 years old now and have accepted the fact that I hated myself. Sometimes I feel so broken and useless that I wonder why I am the way I am. Why can’t I be like other people? After reading Colossians 3:23, I remember this video and come back to it to remember some of the points they made, but really I should take in all of the points this video made. I should not hate myself because I am God’s masterpiece. He made me unique, so I should live my life in a way that would only please him, not for others. For now on, whenever I feel broken or useless, or when I feel like I have the weight of the world pulling me down, I’m going to remember this video to remember how much God Loves me, and that speaks volumes about myself.

Some years ago, a brother in Christ told me about Skit Guys and especially this video- God's Chisel. The first time I ever watched it, God spoke to my heart in a wonderful way that brought transformation that I know He wants for me. Since that time, I have watched this video multiple times and God always uses it to speak to me, to get my attention and to move me more towards being like Him. Thank you God for raising up Skit Guys, bless them, lead them and continue to use them for your glory!

No life is an accident. When God made Creation, he said it was good. But when he made humankind, he said it was very good. We are made in his image. No matter what you've done, God is there ready and willing to forgive you. But it doesn't stop there. Let Him form you into who He wants you to be. It can be hard, as the guys pointed out. But ultimately, it will be worth it. I pray for anyone who reads this, you are loved, and created by the creator of everything.

This was absolutely amazing! We watched this at my youth group. It got me very teary and the youth leader then asked us to spread out and look at ourselves in the reflection of the windows and say '(your name) is Gods original masterpiece. Me and my sister were the only ones who couldn't manage to say it but it still brought GREAT healing to us. My sister walked out of the room and started sobbing so loudly and deeply. Was God's healing no doubt xx

I’m still recovering from my stroke about six months ago and understood that there will be physical difficulties but he totally underestimated the mental issues. Jesus in my church have help me out more than I ever thought possible. Amen!
