The compass mode is designed to be used with the dial face vertically for the compass to be accurate , As if you have your arm up and you are looking at your watch face. if you take the watch off and hold the dial face horizontally, the compass works poorly. Overall - a good watch. Keeps time well.
Thanks, yes I know that, it's the same with any compass or magnetic sensor. Good watch for the money, although the rubber strap split and broke and with some difficulty I managed to fit another strap!

@@bobflyman I've had similar issues with other Skmei watch bands. The good news is that you can find identical replacement bands for around $2 AUD on AliExpress They took about a month to arrive in Australia. $2AUD would be around little less than 1 pound UK.
@@bobflyman btw, thanks for showing how to change the time on the watch. We have moved out of day light saving and I needed to change the watch time. You saved the day!
@@majunmajun1222 I have just tested on the watch in the video again as I still have it and wear it. I can tell you 100% sure the watch I own that is in this video has a dial bezel that does not turn! They make a lot of watches, maybe there is another model where the bezel turns?

@@bobflyman thank you for your response. I cannot find any other model with compass and rotated dial. I think you have right and someone gave me bad opinion.
