Thanks for the demo and walkthrough. Having already purchased the car, as I couldn't wait, i was a bit disappointed, when I found out that i wasn't able to choose the Canton speaker set at this point. Any idea if it's difficult to upgrade at a later stage, just like you could exchange speakers on cars 15+ years ago?

That's a good question, but suspect you won't be able to upgrade easily and will have to look into third-party/aftermarket solutions should you wish to bolster the audio experience. MIght be tricky/expensive as is the case with any other audio system upgrade (as things will need to be moved/optimised) - don't think it'll be as easy to swap out the system as you would do on older cars either; as the head unit might have different leads/connections to worry about. I listened to "Bass I love you" from Bassotronics in an Enyaq 80 iV with the stock audio system, and I was very disappointed. Not only was there no presence of subbass, but the "woofers" started distorting even with the volume only at 20%. I don't know how much the Canton system will improve, but the stock system really isn't good enough for me. (it also sounded very plasticy, even our 13-year-old Honda FR-V sounds better)

Nice cabin on that Skoda. Do you have a leaderboard with all sound systems you tested?

Should be in 2022; at least that's the last we heard from Skoda!

Talked with the dealer today as im about to order the Canton system. They said it was available to order, but could in worst case scenario delay the delivery of the car for more than 6 months because of the covid shortage of parts
