I have the same issue. However, is it the seal that breaks down for the actually cast unit itself? If so, it would make sense to buy a replacement seal kit would it not?
hello. i have the same problem on on my car whit the same engine, i have lie 47k km in 5 years on in. i order the pump and the belt. did you change termostat or not? thanks for anwser :D
One more question... How and where you tension the belt? On some videos they tension the belt on left side pump housing, but my original and new pump dont have this option. Im afraid that my belt fill wall off. Thanks once more.
I don't think that the mileage is dependent on this waterpump because I have vehicle with 200000km and hasn't been changed but also I have vehicle replaced at 70000km because it was leaking
@@dennyc4135 yeah this belt its not stressed like the timing belt thats why it can be reused its not that expensive but i had to wait for 10days for new one
@@mechanicigor yeah, true it's not so stressed like timing belt.. on my garage apparently put the belt back on my water pump repair despite it's almost 200.000km old.. a bit too bad they didn't change it considering the price. Hopefully it will last. How about timing belt, I read it's a lifetime timing belt of 10 years or 240.000km, will it last that long.. I just check mine, still looks OK
