The Skoda Fabia built before week 22 only has mirrorlink which is only compatible with certain phones. Only cars built after week 22 will have Android Auto and Apple Car play (Smartlink). If you are thinking of buying a fabia only get one if the build date is week 22 on. This is a hardware issue and will be no software updates for pre week 22 to make Android Auto/Apple car play compatible.

Hi, I am interested in getting a Skoda Fabia Estate SE L. I have a question about the skoda mirrorlink. Mirrorlinking the phone to the dashboard touchscreen is great, but are there any glitches or bugs? I have watched Mirrorlink reviews in youtube and it seems to be very glitchy. The screen goes black whenever the car is in motion, and the youtube video shows that when using satnav, the satnav video goes black screen whenever the car starts to move. totally ruins the satnav function. is this problem still not fixed?
