The only practical reason that makes these sort of cars with higher ground clearance worth considering is the ride quality tends to be more forgiving, and as our roads are fairly awful in the UK, it makes this segment of car a sensible purchase over an ordinary hatchback if ride comfort is a priority. This Kamiq is aimed at mature drivers, and I dont mean old drivers, just people who can drive properly and dont need to show off. Someone on here says its forgettable, but so is that persons comment. Nobody ever said the MK2 Golf GTi was boring or forgettable when it came out, and it even came with steel wheels as standard ! It was an understated, classless car for people who didn't need to shout what they had. This Kamiq is understated and will give great pleasure to those intelligent enough to understand what its about.

I’ve watched a few reviews on the Kamiq and it seems good value for money. Yes, there other better looking equivalents out there but, as I am and as stated above, looking for value for money I’ll go for the Kamiq.

That's a really good car. Since I do not particularly like automatic gearboxes (impossible to control high gears on motorway slopes or smaller gears on mountain roads which is the case in my country) the very good 1.6 tdi is only available with DSG in Greece, something really annoying...

@@oddities-whatnot I watched the video then realised it was an forgettable SUV, which I had forgotten about till you mentioned it. I was busy enjoying my life but now I've got to think whether this SUV could make me happier
