Make sure you check the thickness of the CR2025 battery. One I had was too thick and would not click in to place. Ordered a Duracell one ‘DL/CR2025’, was much thinner and fitted as per video.
Thanks a lot Chris. I didn't know where to start to change the battery. Too hard to use only a finger to take it out, had to use a screwdriver though. Very useful and well explained tutorial!
If you have tried different batteries in both key fobs it could be you need to code your keys again to the car. Without some diagnostics it will be hard to find the cause. See if there is someone with VCDS in your area via a forum such as Briskoda to perform a scan on your car.
Did you completely fit cr2032 there or did you hold it there with the key cover ? Because when I tried to put cr2032 there, it didnt fit under the little tooth thats supposed to keep the battery there, I had to cover it with key cover to keep it in.
