Nice. Good to see the mk3 do it quicker than the manufacturer's quoted time. If these cars were AWD they'd be even better, shame they're not doing in the 5 seconds range. Do you know what tyres the mk3 was using?
I don't know what tyres are on the mk3 but the grip is very impressive ! You're right, it would be insane if they were AWD. They'd probably be in the 5 seconds range one day if they decide to put more power in it
@@carsaccelerationstv484 They wont do it anymore. mk4 will be the last petrol they'll have, the mk5 is going to be a hybrid of 1.5 and 1.0 tfsi engine..
The DSG makes it looks real fast compared to manual ones, but you're right it might have a stage 1, the turbo seems to be pullinger harder than it should 😅even tho its 0-100 time looks close to a stock one
@@carsaccelerationstv484 yeah the dsg definitely is doing its job, the thing is that I've got the same vRS facelift (stock) and 0-200 time is around 30s. Great job with the video btw🙃 can you make next golf gti generations? (I'm in love with the mk3 😄)
