electronic stability control and hil hold control is present only from rider plus , rider variant misses this feature. So for 50,000 extra bugs from the 'rider', you get only a touch screen is a wrong statement.
Most probably they're gonna discontinue rapid next year, as they're planning to launch a new car slightly bigger sedan with a new name instead of Rapid (confirmed by Skoda sales head) . So I'm not sure if I should buy this. Coz I don't want to be left with a outdated car.
Remember, all new cars will come on the shitty new localized platform. Forget the excellent handling and body quality that were their strengths. They're out to play with the Koreans now.
All will be under MBQ-A0-IN platform and that will be little compromised with present German feel and build.. As we can see in Kushaq, flat tunnel, poor ac vents, non adjustable seat belt, light weight body, low door thud sound, body roll(180mm GC) etc etc... New skoda sedan will be above Rapid (C to C+) but Rapid will stay.. Price will be higher than Rapid.
Everything acceptable except this new android infotainment system which ships with "Android 7". Mr. Zac Hollis should upgrade the system to at least new OS when "CarPlay" or "AndroidAuto" is not supported. Android7 OS based poor infotainment in year 2021 sold Skoda Rapid is a big shame.
@@bhavinclassic Bro go for rider plus variant , at 50000 more you get a few added features over rider. But again Rider plus is also commanding a good waiting period these days.
