Very good video sir I'm 21 and skoda has been my favorite car brand since last 8 years when I first sat in the skoda Octavia rider model. I still remember the car doing 210 kmph. I hope more people watch this video and change their mindset. Once a skoda always a skoda👍🏾
i have Skoda Rapid (2017). and got mileage around 28.7KMPL on Yamuna expressway in winters, coz of fog my driving speed was fixed to 50-60km/h. and after 150km i see the mileage that was 28.7kmpl. i was shocked. when i come back to home then i calculate my purse. and the reading of mileage was right. Good Job Skoda. :)
You are right bro maruti is a bullshit brand they just focus on look and mileage . But vw and skoda have best built quality among any other brand . My dream car is octavia vrs ie 2.0L petrol turbocharged engine with 237 bhp and 350 nm of torque does 0-100 in 6.5 sec 😎 fastest skoda in india. Mileage will not be more than 5 kmpl if it is driven as it is meant to be . 14 if ideally
1000% agreed. Service and maintenance is not that expensive jitnii logo ne hype banaa rakhi h. I have vento a Honda Civic 2019 a wagonr and a honda city (2008). Out of all drive quality built quality. Vento ki baat alag h. That car even from a distance looks something heavy!
If budget is not issue than any day go for Škoda rapid dsg or vw vento dsg its more fun to drive car... Bocz German cars clutch is fell heavy to oparet.. Otherwies no complains
Very good video made by you... Guys there is nothing more important than our lives... There are multiple choices of vehicles in the market that offer so many features and all the fancy stuff but we compromise on the body structure or the safety of those cars and buy them... I'm not saying they are bad but yes they are not the top notch... Vw and Skoda use 100% galvonised steel structure for their cars which can save you from a nasty accident that could be fatal wheras other competitors just use 50℅... So even their 6 airbags will sometimes not save you and your precious family... All good things in life come with a price... "Prioritise safety"... Last but not the least Skoda and Vw are class leading sedans... Unmatched safety... Hope this brings awareness amongst many... Happy motoring!!!

True.. Skoda diesel engine is one of the most refined diesel engine and rry fun to drive.. Max mileage I got was 25.7 when I maintained speed of 70 to 80km/hr...
I would say.. go for vw instead of skoda. Though they both are same in terms of brand ownership ie vw owns skoda... but still vento has a slight edge over rapid in terms of plastic quality,design and overall look and feel. I am not being partial. I had a rapid and i have a vento rightnow...vento feels better than rapid. Go for highline plus tdi dsg.!! That car is something next level. Good luck !
I am using Skoda rapid 2017 model style automatic it’s giving me 19kmpl for local use and for highway use 22-23 Kmpl and I have driven my car for 175000 km till now.One more thing it’s more cheap to maintain Skoda cars then Maruthi

running .... Gives smoke after i remove oil filling cap and also small oil droplets when i rev it in idle position ... I have come to know that smoke from dipstick is normal in skoda but is the oil droplets from oil filling cap are also nomal ... Please reply ..

I own the rapid. ITS a fine car. Plenty of room. Good mileage, good steering, Everything works and Feel solid. Keep in mind i own the style version with automatik gear. For the price, you get a veery good car.

My daily running is around 110kms both city and outside city(loads of potholes and shit) 40-60 is my normal speed but most part of my traveling is on highways (around 80-100) what average should I expect and what model should I go with ? Also why is the resale value so low?

A G thanks for watching video as rapid petrol engine is 1.6 ltr so dont expect mileage in city and there is not much difference in price go for diesel ambition. As service in concerned of your running is 30 km per day it means 1000 km / month 12000 km /year. Cost will be 10000 max per year so go for diesel.. do let me know if have any other confusion

vw skoda uses castrol magnetic wd-40 that if you have outside you can change it anywhere but use that oil only dont preffer shell oil but use shell diesel recommeded in v power diesel for tdi cars
Sir I am.planning to take one for a long term. I am getting rapid at good price but I am concerned about 1.6l petrol mannual engine. It has become really old now and mileage in city is only 10 kmpl. So diesel better even if daily run is 30 km only ?
Tank full to tank full kar ke mileage test kiya jataha hai bhai. Odometer me jo dhikhata hai wo approximate hai. 24 kmpl dikha raha hai matlab actual mileage 19 ka hai. Same with XUV 500 and Honda city. The displayed mileage is always 4km more than actual mileage.
Good review. You said you bought the car in 2017 end and registered it in 2018 so you got a benefit of 1.5 L. What difference did registering in 218 make?
seaga89 car manufacture year is 2017. On rc register date jan 2018 when u sell your car so its matter not much but yes it matter.. buying car in nov dec u got huge discount
very good car , great pleasure to drive you will not feel tried at all or feel like you are driving ,maitance use to be high but now all car are base on sensors so maitaince is 19-20 not much of difference . guarantee once you drive germen or ford it is very difficult to drive other car

24.5 during 85-90 km/h cruise is not that great for a diesel. Even petrol cars give about 22 in such driving. Maruti suzuki diesel will be above 30 for sure in this condition. This is not at all a realistic figure. People rarely drive at constant speed like this in india. Even small accelerations will affect the efficiency. Engine uses most fuel when the car is accelerating.
Without ac on a Sunday morning in relatively deserted road I pulled a mileage of 31.5kmpl on this model …. MID shows wrong mileage …. The real mileage is almost 5kmpl lesser than what the display shows
as there is 1 lakh cash discount on skoda rapid ,its tempting me to buy ...but having concern about bs6 fuel(diesel) having low sulphur content will cause problems in bs4 diesel cars......so should i wait for bs6 skoda cars and anybody can confirm skoda rapid bs6 launch in 2020.....bcoz as of now no confirmed news about launch date of bs6 rapid
pgmuru they have already started testing BS6 engine in upcoming skoda superb. I will suggest wait for BS6 engine n u may see some changes in desgin of skoda rapid.

Bhai it does. My skoda rapid automatic gives a mileage of 25 on highway when driven in 7th gear on 80kmp/hr and is put on cruise control. In city also i get around 16-18 kmpl.
Skoda and VW are really good cars but spare parts costs will punch a whole on our pocket.. EGR valve cots 45 k.. Steering column will cost 80k .. And their is issue with injectors of these cars
How any EGRs you have changed since purchase? I have not purchased any EGR since 2013. You also need to factor in the periodicity. Steering column 80k. How many times a regular car owner purchases a steering column? nobody has any need to purchase steering column unless it is a major crash. A car crash where the steering column needs to be changed means the car cannot be repaired and would be a total write off.
Recently I went out with my friends to the avengers endgame I travelled around 65km on that day (nice and bad roads and traffic included) So for 65km my Skoda rapid diesel edition 2013 model has consumed around 7-8 liters That's not great when compared to other diesel or petrol vehicles but it's average mileage is somewhere around 9-10kmpl PS : my car has digital fuel meter and it reduced 2points By my calculations each point is somewhere 4-5liters So 65divided by 7 it gives 9.7 Kmpl approx

plz dnt go for honda city petrol.i have city petrol They say 14-15 average in city but i get 5-7km/l in city ha highway pe 19 tk mila hai.but plz for god sake dnt buy petrol car as my personal advice n humble request.I have used dzire petrol,i20 diesel,verna diesel n now city petrol.meri tank 5 din mein khatam hoti h.Honda city comfortable hai ye manta hu but when it comes to mileage the honda city petrol in city not cool at all.For this reason i am buying skoda rapid style dsg style next week
on highways what you said is true for millage but for city drive maruthi are better due to less body weight (AH! yes! saftey matters! i am in germany brand from 2008 till now) in city vw or skoda or audi fails because due to there over all car weight and vw recommends to use premium fuel, and i use that, where it dents to spend more from your pocket on long term (including 1.5TDI needs higher fuel)

Mai 1 svc ka 10000 leta hun jo ki bahut jyada le raha hun us se kam hi ata hai as u said 8500.. car humne chalayi 30000 km.. svc ke paise tod fod sab milake 30000rs lag gaye.... ab karte hai maruti ciaz ki baat uski svc hoti hai 10000 km pe 8000rs se kabhi khrcha kam nahi ata as i had 2015 model diesel dezire vahi engine hai isme bhi .. to aapne diye 240000 rs tod fod alag... 3 bar aap svc cntr gaye time kharab kiye vahi skoda mai 2 bar..... aur aap bhi jante hai maruti teen ka dabba hai vahi skoda khara sona... thanks
