*Historical context:* Skoraya pomosh are known as one of the most famous metal bands from former USSR and among Avgust, Nokaut or Kremator also one of the leading bands of St. Petersburg scene. They started in 1980 and were mostly influenced by western acts like AC/DC, UFO or Scorpions. After this initial phase and two demo tapes they got more heavier sound around 1986 when some of the songs from debut album were already a part of their concert setlists. Tvoy den was apparently recorded in May 1987 (not confirmed yet) after Alexander Borisov left to join another St. Petersburg-based-legend Front. Originally released on reel-to-reel, now finally complete here with songs 3-4 missing on original issue. Alexander Ragazanov left shorty after recording of the album and was replaced by Boris Shaveikov who toured with Skoraya pomosh thoughout 1987. Then this 4 piece line-up was over and the most famous period of the band could started. Tvoy den, however remained very underrated release even within former USSR countries, which is really unfortunate because songwritting on this one is really outstanding.

😲😲😲 ¡Que gran banda! ¡la voz es perfecta! Me alegra estar descubriendo bandas rusas. Hablando con una amiga rusa encontramos la similitud entre el rocknroll de su país y México con el problema de la censura política y como afectó el desarrollo del rock en nuestros países.

I know the band name is first aid but that art is ridiculous lol its like the red cross's own imperial cruiser heading towards an already exploded death star wtf 😆 not sure what it has to do with the album title either lol

mh... "maybe" the cover art depicts an aid from outside of a ruined world? a """"savior""""... soviet style?

Well the "deathstar" depicts Soviet Union in late 80s and the spaceship is Skoraya pomosh (First Aid) on its way to save it. It has to be little bit crazy and over the top, just like USSR :D
