@@miyaguincan agree on that. People might can make ideas fast on other daws, but if you plan on going in depth with crazy shit and be able to control all that fast and easy, Ableton is perfect for that.

because you can do everything FM and Massive can do with Abletons Waveshaper and Operator lol

FM8 IS TRASH

Stock plugins are insanely capable, you definitely have everything you need to make full songs with them. Other plugins for sure have their uses though but it’s not crucial to get all those things to make good music

Stock plugins will do just fine too.

he could be using serum, im sure he has. But i also know from watching a ton of content that he resamples a lot of his stuff. He can still come up with gnarly sounds using his old go-tos like fm8 and massive. resample those and get insane sounds. I dont think fabfilter is super great hes probably just used to using them. ProL to clip and control his sounds, for tight mixes. and EQ to shape those sounds, probably agressively. But you cna do that with any EQ. i dont think he was marketing, i think he was genuine.

For me personally I love fabfilter for the great amount of extra control you get over stock, like with EQ being able to easily do mid/side, dynamic EQ, etc. they make super powerful tools especially for mixing, can’t recommend them enough

not marketing. EVERYBODY uses Q3. Kirchhoff EQ is my personal favorite.
