Yes it has some really enjoyable mechanics! Easily got my subscription worth out of that game for a few months

Nice well you took a better path than me 😄 I should not have built all the small ships early on I'm sure if you just built one of them and them went to get the medium you would be in a good spot

I did the hulk. Love damage resistance. Plus it looks like a medieval type ship.

Sounds like a solid build! I haven't built termites 3 yet. I actually struggle to land rockets. I just love the leopold 3. Seeing that land and the flooding damage just feels so satisfying!

Starter ship to cutter sure, but the snow? Maybe for some general pve or plunders, but other then that….no.

Went from starter ship to Cutter to Brigantine. The self heal is very useful.

I went cutter not only for self heal but also due to the speed. Too many lv 10s wanting to kill low levels players. I also play with others.

Brigantine is easily the best, followed by a tie between snow and Sambuk depending your playstyle, and then the padewakang is only really good for low/med level forts wit mons Megs on all sides. If you like snow, nice…but definitely not meta. I’ll do circles around you in my brig when it comes to pvp, gold runs, and anything else. When I face snows 1v1, they’re just sitting ducks. I do more dps already wit the 2 extra cannons, then take into consideration the extra maneuverability and better firing angles. Take two people of the same skill and put them in these two ships for 1v1. Guy in the snow is going to get overwhelmed badly. He’ll get shot for more damage and shot more often, that extra armor will not even anything out. Only time I’ve seen them do well in pvp is if you’re running a convoy of em for helm wagers. And for general use it’s just so slow and such a big target.

Ya I'm seeing lots of love for the cutter, maybe I played with the hulk to much. But I do think the brig is much better for general growth. You can quickly gain the resources to build the snow after you have the brig. The speed is just too good. also did you skip the bedar? how long were you floating in the dhow?

I haven't yet, but the water tank seems really good and I could see the snow becoming a very tough ship to sink! Especially when you eat the meal that gives extra brace mitigation and brace stamina efficiency. Will have to try it out. Been renvesting all my pieces of 8 for a while. I just found it hard to be Brigs with bombard builds(which is my main pvp build)

@@Polemos_Action so far the the set up on my snow is water tank for the brace stamina and stamina Regen I forgot what it's called but there's another piece of furniture that gives you an extra 10% of stamina Regen but I might replace that for a sea fire furniture that boosts its range by 10% then I have one furniture for starboard damage and port side damage and weapons I'm running the blue specter and 3 of purple bombard weapons u can buy at the black market gotten a few legendary treasure maps with the setup and one or two helm wagers now I will admit those bombards definitely will take a bit to get use to but hit pretty hard especially since everyone's running around on brigantine's witch in my opinion has horrible brace health but of course it's speed makes up for that

@@AgentRaptor5150 dude thats epic. And running the bombards will alow you to hit the faster brigs im surprised you go with the spectral fire? When does that come in use?

@@Polemos_Action it comes handy on those narrow river ways and when people get close on my port and starboard side since the brigittine is one of the longer ships in the game and Really fast so sometimes people will be trimming next to me like glue they end up being in range/angle for the sea flame to hit and burn baby burn lol

Yea cutter is a beast I like and used till unlocked brig

100% I need to do a new video on all my current builds the brig is not the only option especially with the new PVP flags

Speed run record incoming! Straight to the brig, How did you skip the padewakang? I guess I was capped at open beta so It was the best I could build before the rest opened up. do you think the Padewakang should be skipped?

Ya not perfect for sure. There have been times I just had to take a break, but it is a little addictive with the leaderboard and collecting the pieces of 8. I think once they fix a lot of the bugs and improve the endgame it could be worth grinding.

Ya Only time I have one against the brig is in a hostile takeover of a level 4 fort. And instead of focusing pvp I actually just attack all the dutch ships. And kill more and just try to survive.

I actually got it off a legendary treasure map. I have also heard you can get from the merchant convoys. Otherwise you have to grind that 50 ash.

That will be immense fun then 🤦🏻‍♂️ only another 30 days 😂

Ya it's got some potential! The end game needs to improved a little, but I could see myself grinding quite a bit. I hope all the new season content is really good!

Not at the moment and Honestly I hope they don't make the game pay to win.(at least Pieces of 8 related). Everything else could be pay to fast so people can catch up to the competition. Wouldn't be terrible.

Easily the best ship for general use and pvp. If you’re running forts then padawakang or snow would be better. And sambuk is good but doesn’t really outclass anything rn. Only really good for ships and only gets better dps then other ships if you run specific furniture and play very aggressive.

Brigantine with 4 Dardanelles and a Leopold III is currently the most Meta is gets for pvp and general use. It’s just a fact. The other ships only fit specific roles.

@@cameronwelsh4630 100% and I actually like to run fire bombard 3's in the front and back. I think that is better so you can still trigger ablaze. but dardanelles and leopold 3 are a must

i was expecting more to be honest but I think if they are able to add some more content it can turn into a really good game
