This is my favorite video about this series, you do a really good job explaining instead of just saying the usual stuff ppl always say. I really like some of these and really don't want some of the others, so I think I'll wait to buy confirmed opened boxes
I really liked your video! I loved this series. Iv been wanting a skull panda series for a while but iv been waiting for the perfect one to commit too. I ended up going for the everyday wonderland and picked up some mare of animals to get the glimpse figure. But as an art lover I just love this idea around surrealism. Beautiful figures, they all feel like they should be on display at a museum
Ahh thank you so much ❤ Everyday Wonderland and Mare of Animals has some beautiful art pieces in it as well. I'm so for seeing more artistic intent in series. The cute stuff is cute but I love something you can sink your teeth into.
Thank you for introducing the paradox of choice, it's very interesting to know👍👍 I enjoyed your video and narration. And you are the first one I've seen so far who shares all cards' back sides. That allows the audience to get to know the artist's own ideas beyond our personal interpretations. I like Soar, the Philosophy, and Mermaid the best. But the Merchant, the Timelapse, and the disguise gentleman are also good designs (though the latter two are too relatable so that I feel a little bit scared of them hh). I liked the look of pivot a lot as well, however the original idea behind it doesn't attract me. And there are two things I personally understood differently from your interpretations: The Merchant could also be criticizing the utilitarian use of time in modern societies; And the gentleman could also be a sheep :)
I 100% think it's a sheep now too, another commenter said the same thing and I was like "ohhhh that is absolutely the right answer now that you've said it" lol. I also *really* like your interpretation of the merchant, especially with the phases of the Moon turning around SP's body, it makes so much sense ❤️❤️ I love that this series gives us so much to dig into in regards to meaning and interpretations.
I was very happy to have this series, but when I had it in my hand I felt bad when I saw that many of the pieces were made of plastic and seemed like they were going to break.😢
I think maybe they were more ambitious than production could handle lol. I don't mind it in most, the Constraint threads are plastic but it doesn't interfere. I was a little worried with The Disguise bc it didn't stand as well due to the plastic and same with The Soar - The Soar keeps falling off the stand to the point where I think it needs superglue lol

My favorite was definitely the imagination, but the philosophy was an extremely close second, by far the most gorgeous Skullpanda figure I've seen so far!
I love how you explained what each one meant. That was very cool and made the video even more interesting. I do love the time one the best I think. Or the daydreaming.
Your video just popped up on my reccs and omg these are the most amazing figures I've seen, I love the surrealism take on it! And the care you took to explain everything too! (just let me say you could easily narrate audiobooks, your voice and narrating style are so nice to listen to!) Honestly I'd be happy to have any of the figures but my favourites are probably the time lapse, the Paradox and the Disguise. But honestly each of them is so unique and pretty!

Oh sure! So it's the owl of wisdom, reflecting on the day's events. By putting on the owl mask, the SP looks inward, but still maintains the eye-baubles to see the world around her. Introspection and reflection can grant deeper understanding of the self and the world around them. And then as a fun fact: a lot of archetypes about destiny show Destiny as a blind man reading a book. Kind of neat maybe 🤔
I am not fond of a few of them but it's such a shame if it'll be incomplete. I am conflicted if I should buy the whole series or not. 🥲 I love the interpretations though! 💯💞
I think it's better to make sure you love everything in your personal collection, instead of buying things just to have them. So I vote to just get the pieces you love ❤️
