I wished they werent poly. I absolutely despite poly. and these are what, 30USD? They are so friggin cute I KNOW I'lll be buying them... but it will be a very long time before I can then go and reroot and replace the hair because cutting off the hair of a doll I just got is a no go for me. Especially since it's the same price or more just to reroot... Do you think they are worth investing an additional 30$ or so bucks to reroot?
I paid £37 pounds which is $47 they are quite expensive in the UK, I guess it depends how much you like the doll if you want to spend the money on rerooting I have never rerooted a doll myself but I may actually reroot my neon frights Draculaura her hair is so horrible I don't like touching it but she is so pretty.
I know its so sad, Abbeys doesn't feel that bad but I know it disintegrates over time and I think I'm seeing that with my large Rarity pony she is going bald at the front. Think I'm going to have to reroot these dolls and ponies one day sadly.

I don’t know why but I thought the front doors opened and the doll would be displayed inside 🥲. I think that would be better than having the stand on the outside. Anyway, thank you for the review!
Yeah that would be better the slide out thing is a bit annoying if you display the doll in there you can't see their feet plus you have to have the stand piece in the front to keep it up. You're welcome 😊

Draculaura doesn't seem to be available in the UK at the moment but I love Draculaura too and pink is my favourite colour so I may not be able to resist getting her too lol. Probably wouldn't keep her closet if I do though don't know where I would put it.
I'm so excited for these. We don't have them in the US yet. I'm very curious as to why theres only 4 of these rather than the usual 5 for Skulltimate Secrets. The uneven display is going to bother me lol
I like Draculaura too but they are £37 here and I don't know if its worth it as she has poly hair I got abbey as there aren't many releases of abbey. I'll probably wait until they have a sale to get Draculaura.
Hi, I just checked. No, they can't its a real shame as if they could be it wouldn't take up loads of room and you would have 2 doll stands to use on the wall.
recently i’ve been getting into monster high although ive always only liked mlp. bought a 2017 reboot mlp eqg twilight and it sucks that hasbro doesnt have the “show accuracy” or quality with joints
I love mlp too i have a lot of ponies and I actually really love the og eg dolls even though they are not the best quality I really didn't like the reboot eg dolls the faces were all wrong. I prefer original monster high but the new ones have really grown on me I just wish they would stop using poly hair.
How are you? I am glad you are back. I hope you feel better. G3 are still not for me. I only have 3 for far. I find them overpriced for what they are too. It does not help. And I don't have any space left. Good review. It is nice to see everything in detail. She is kind of cute I guess. I am not too keen on all the plastic accessories. It looks cheap to me. Why do they have to use crappy quality for the hair? Oh dear, I know I am boring but G1 are my ghouls! Their faces have so much more personality. I prefer the original G1 body type too. Oh sacrilege! I like a skinny body! If I would say that on another channel, they would call me fatphobic! I said I thought Catty body type was not very appropriate for a cat and I have been called racist!! I will not express opinion about MH anymore on any other channel, It is dangerous!!
The new dolls have grown on me I do still prefer g1 but these are nice for what they are I will probably only buy abbey from this particular line the quality does always seem to be lower on the skulltimate secrets line than the normal dolls. Yeah I was quite surprised about cattys new body type I guess I'll see when I actually get her in hand the thing I hate about the fact they have made her curvy is the fact that I won't be able to fit her on an ever after high stand so I may have to sit her down I so wish they still included stands. The skinner body's made them look more like monsters, you are entitled to your opinion no one should attack you for that. I'm mostly going to buy new characters as I don't have a huge amount of space either but I do want a couple of the monster fest dolls. I brought a couple of plastic storage boxes a few months ago and have put a bunch of dolls in the bottom of my wardrobe in them and it has really helped I just need to try not to go too mad buying more. I'm OK I actually have a bunch of reviews on my phone that I never uploaded I will have to try and make an effort to edit and upload them. How are you?.
I am ok. I am glad to hear from you. I started to worry a while ago because you told me you were not well. I thought of emailing you in Flickr! I have really terrible space issues. I have been trying to sort some things out the past 3 days but no improvement. I need to seriously downsize. I really don't know how I ended up with so much stuff. It is because of the boot sales where I have been going each week for many years. The crazy reductions on SH dolls did not help. Yes G3. People are a bit hysterical I think. They are dolls, not people! I have bought core Draculaura reduced to £19.99 a while ago. It has not been a successful unboxing! I did not like her at all at first. Her thin hair, you can't even give her pigtails. The outfit, not great and even pinker out of box. The crappy pixelated accessories did not help! And her legs. I think she has the ugliest legs I have ever seen on a doll! lol the socks making it more obvious! Overall, I thought the quality was not very good. She looked so cheap to me. Maybe it is because I unboxed so many SH/RH dolls before her. Their hair is amazing and the SH dolls are so detailed, they look like collector dolls to me. At first, I debated between selling her or putting her out of my sight. Then I decided to put her on display to remind me to not buy another G3 doll ever again!! Then after 2 months, she grew on me (yes, I know. Unbelievable!). I like her now. Still I think these dolls are too expensive for what they are. The quality is not great and they look a bit cheap to me. I bought Venus in Home Bargains for £22.99. At least, it is not £30 (out of the question to pay that much). I think Venus is the best G3 so far but it makes sad to hear people putting down G1 Venus so badly. I will always love G1 more. They retained their unique charm. I can't really see G3 as Monster High dolls. I'll see how it will go with newer releases. I am not collecting them actively at all. I admit I would not mind to find them thrifting!
I have leukaemia but it is well managed I just have a lot of side affects namely tiredness from the chemotherapy drugs I take everyday. I think it is the rh and sh dolls that make the quality seem so bad because they have such amazing quality the pixilated accessories are annoying but I'm really glad their faces aren't like it like they are with barbie. I'm not buying the rebooted Rh dolls they look pretty but the slime accessories and the clothes from the first line has put me off. That's good that you ended up liking her I really like Draculaura, Lagoona and Frankie the best out of the new dolls i have a couple of cleos and clawdeens I really like but I tend to like the other three's releases more. I like the new venus but I still much prefer the old venus I actually think I like the first release toralei the best out of all the g3 dolls that have come out she has such beautiful eyes.
I got the scare-adise island dolls of Clawdeen, Frankie and Draculaura really cheap from amazon US as they were 50% off and i think Frankie was even cheaper a while ago so with the shipping and everything I only spent £50 on all 3 and I ordered clawdeen separately so if I had ordered them together I would of saved more money. I'm sure you will find them thrifting eventually.
It is stressful trying to part with stuff I have been trying to move things around to create more space I have recently washed a bunch of my kids old monster high and ever after high stands and put them in my airing cupboard to make sure they are throughly dry, I have a corner cupboard the dolls are currently laying down in there but I think I could get a lot more in there if I stand them up instead plus I can rotate them with what I have out easily if they are already on stands, it's going to be a big job though so I need to do it on a day that I feel good I get a lot more bad days than good unfortunately. Do you have tall shelves to display your dolls or do you put them wherever you can fit them like me? I would love to have glass cupboards as it would keep them from getting so dusty but I would need a lot of them lol x
