I got my hand on a BRAND NEW set of Skunk2 Tuner1's for my B20V, BUT, was it worth the money??? How much power did we gain by fitting the Skunk2 camshafts in my car?

Man that crossover is crazy I would go high comp and so better header and bigger throttle body u should see better result butt that vtec sound crazy nice content
I had the Skunk 2 Tuner cams in my B16. Had the pro cams in, but was too rough. Vtec only came in at 7500. Tuner cams work best. Made 102kw at RBTS. JDMTuning can confirm in Jhb
Brilliant cams my advice is check the stock timing no cam gears are needed as they are drop in these cams are made for stock timing make sure the timing is set on 0 degrees on TDC.
We set the timing exactly the same way the GSR cams came out of the vehicle. So something is def not happy. Seems to be a lot of mixed answers here. I also thought no gears were needed for these, but a lot of people advise me to go with gears and then we can dial them in proper. So I am not sure
@@CCDVIDEO remember getting cams dialed in would be necessary with high compression. Seeing your block is stock shouldn't be needed to extract power. I had a friend who put out 125wkw similar setup to urz
Awesome build man, try to get yourself an AEM V2 CAi(Dual Chamber) and Megan Racing Header. I had this setup on my B16 with the stage 1 Tuner Series Skunk 2 cams all running of the stock ecu. Excellent gains.
Had these in my b20v and good for 5kw or so on top lucky more in the midrange depending on zorst header intake tb setup. Lekker jy. And oh yes Vernier gears helps alot.
How about taking a trip to the coast with it once you reach the 30k sub mark?? Would be awesome to see what power it makes and your impressions of it down there.
How's the fuel pump? could be the reason you leaning out but vernier gears are definitely needed as well as Fuel pressure regulator and K Series 310cc injectors to make the punch but really nice enjoyed the crossover sounds amazing🔥🔥🔥
Well the plugs only deteriorated that bad in the month I drove the car after fitting the cams. When we took the GSR’s out it was still fine. Seems like my 02 sensor is reading faulty 😑
@CCD VIDEO thanks mate. Haven't even seen quotes they just roughly guessed. So I'm thinking import engine for 30k would be better and comes with turbo.

@@CCDVIDEO awesome. I have a set of Tuner 1's for my b20 vtec but I've been extremely worried about Piston to Valve clearance. Have you had any issues with the cams?
Not running lean at all more white would be lean for cam timing you should have checked that or the tuner should have checked that with a timing light before the tune and for being down on power looks like a poor tuner I made 230hp with a stock bottom b20 built head and tuner2 cams on pump 92
Information on the built head? Any porting done to it? I ask cause I also have a stock high comp b20z2 and a b16 head and the tuner1 cams trying to figure out what I need to get to atleast 210 hp thanks for any info!
@@alonzocates4742 there's no need to I made as much or sometimes more power than a built motor and mines completely stock bottom end only reving to 8100 would have made more if I kept going up
