reason why sky was wearing one sock was bc in dance if you wear socks or just one dance shoe in general (not including sneakers, tap shoes, heels, etc.) you could either wear both shoes or one but if you wear one shoe it should be your turning foot otherwise you’ll have a tough time turning unless you have calluses then great you’re doing well lolol... but yea his left foot is his turning foot tht is the reason for only having one sock
0:53 We use socks to turn easier. When I was learning turns I would use one sock on the foot I turn on and didn't put one on the other. I don't know if that's the case in the video.
He’s only wearing one sock because if you wear two you have no friction and can fall but if you aren’t wearing a sock it can be hard to turn so you wear one on your turning foot
