Sky-High Sundae - Mario Kart Tour Music Extended

It's bizarre that we got this course on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a couple of days before its intended debut game, Mario Kart Tour. The layout definitely feels as if it was made for Tour's Point system, given that there's lots of jumps for tricks here.
The section of fences after the Ice Cream cone is no longer anti-gravity in this version. They're solid here. You can also Jump Boost off the fences if you land on top of them.
Tour's regular physics also suit this course a lot better. Once you play it here, it becomes blatantly obvious it wasn't designed with anti-gravity in mind, which I give this version props for. It plays very well, and doesn't feel floaty.
The music is also widely different from the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe rendition. Instead of being live-recorded, this one uses MIDI samples replicating the 8 Deluxe instruments. It makes a huge difference when comparing the two.
If you want more proof that this is indeed a Tour course, there are objects belonging to it that were datamined way before the Booster Course Pass was announced.

This version is more calmer than 8 deluxe. while i still prefer 8 deluxe, this one still sounds nice :)

I love Mario Kart Tour so much. Before it, I haven’t played Mario Kart since Mario Kart DS, that was like what? 2005? 6? Because of Tour, I get to experience all these courses and tracks that I missed: rooftop sundae, maple treetops, Rosalia ice world, coconut mall, wario sunken ship, dk ski lodge, … I know I’m getting the names wrong, lol. But y’all know which ones I’m talking about.

I can’t tell much of a difference, to me it sounds just quieter. (Though I am mad I got screwed multiple times when playing it on tour for the first time.)

No Is not they nerfed it its not calmer why they turn the up paino louder 🙄 hear the difference also it's alot worse than 8deluxe lol its using tour sfx for the music which I love it in 8deluxe tour sounds like boring and plain felt ruined it's not calmer and not hype what's wrong with u its the 8deluxe bass with nerfed music

I kinda actually like the floaty-ness of the NS version. I actually didn't play this version, and I don't plan to considering it's Tour, so I probably wouldn't enjoy the track as it should be enjoyed. I can say the music tho, NS is obviously better.

@@GamingPlayer123 I'm sorry, but all the gacha stuff and the item frenzy mechanics and the controls ruin the game for me. The game does have its merits, but they're simply bogged down by the game's glaring flaws. If some of the stuff was in a traditional Mario Kart game (like R or T tracks, NOT the Frenzy mechanics tho) I'd probably enjoy it.

@@WubbaizyShipper1 I've been playing it since launch because of the fact that it's Mario Kart on mobile, and I'm personally still having a lot of fun with it. I don't really need much reason to continue playing it, other than having fun. I'll continue to play Mario Kart Tour for as long as I'm able.

I just can't have fun because of the glaring flaws I mentioned (and personally I'll be glad all the courses will be in MK8, I mean, Kalimari Desert is the best course and that was heavily based on Tour's second version.) But if you have fun with Tour, that's OK.

It's hard for me to choose. 8==D's is more composed. Tour's is simple but still enthusiastic especially at the bridge section of the soundtrack. I'm impressed with how Tour, a mobile game, is making a legacy.

Wrong the tour version is midi minus the 8deluxe drums and bass that's why it sounds worse I think 8deluxe sounds like the better version tour sucks they didn't need to change anything lol if u get rid the bass it probably sound the same but with thr 8deluxe bass and drums it sounds little muffled together sorry 8deluxe booster course pass dlc sounds hype and better

I don't know why but I like the Tour Version better in both mechanics and music. I don't mind 8 Deluxe's take on it, but the course clearly was designed to not use anti-gravity.

Puede ser, aunque no hay prefijo para nintendo switch aun, nintendo confirmo que la pista era de Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, quizas la Mansión Ninja de Mario Kart Tour carece de prefijo en Mario Kart 8 Deluxe es porque nintendo queria que los prefijos Tour no se repitieran en los cursos de una misma copa. En todo caso en el sitio web del pase de de pistas extra de Mario kart 8 Deluxe, la Mansión Ninja si tiene el prefijo Tour, mientras que Cielos Helados aun no lo tiene. Por otra lado en su primera aparición la pista se desarrolla en anti-gravedad en 8 Deluxe y en Tour no la usa a pesar de que diseño es exactamente igual al de 8 Deluxe, eso podria ser un indicio de las pista de Wii U no necesitan anti-gravedad para poder reaparecer e tour.

@@kirbyheartsbonjam8548 Independiente de donde salio primero, sky-high sundae es y siempre fue una pista de tour. Los archivos internos de tour usan el prefijo "mob", cosa que se confirmo en los archivos de 8 deluxe. Ambos tienen a sky-high sundae como "mobib".

Every track in the bcp was made first for tour, at least we can presume. So the tracks without prefixes are by official accounts nitros, but what makes sense is just to classify them all as tour tracks, even if they come to 8 first like this track
