I went to watch greyhound racing once. Was a fun night. Some dogs got to race around a track. Was nice. Also met some retired greyhounds enjoying their older years, they were lovely. But hey if you don't like it you are welcome not to have anything to do with it. Don't go to their races etc
Grey hound racing need to be stopped forever. This is not an industry or sport this is a sick practice of a number of very odd people. Everybody is getting sick of this, needs to be banned forever
I think the gay and lesbian mardi gras is a disgrace but its not my business... leave peoples hobbys too them..yhe government has taxed the racing industry billions and its there job too regulate those industries..Banks cant be regulated nor big supermarkets but dont see them neing closed..
It was going to be scrapped then Barnaby Joyce stepped in. Guess he has a mate in Grey Hound Racing. Scrap it, the standards are never met because the Government is corrupt. Just protecting their mates in the industry.
When the UK banned working dogs, a large number of those dogs died-families couldn't afford to feed a dog that didn't contribute to the household budget. End greyhound racing, and those dogs will be terminated.

@@PhucMi1 I think you missed my point. There won't be another generation of greyhounds. Why would anyone breed such high maintenance dogs, if they aren't going to race. That is what happened to the working dogs in Britain.

As long as it's ethical, i don't see any problem with it. A friend of mine with a large property has adopted retired greyhounds where they can run around and they are very friendly. But i think beauty and breeding competitions are unethical. The dogs usually don't gain anything from it and often have skeletal issues.
All critics should do what any good critic would do - go look gor yourselves. The Greyhound and Horse Racing peoole love their animals and sport. Don't believe Activist so blindly- look what they are doing around the country and world. It ain't ethical, it ain't good and it is definitely ain't truthful
