Sky princess will always be special for us because it’s our first Princess cruise we went on. We did eat at Sabitini’s and really enjoyed it. We found the food on Princess overall really good. Thanks boys for sharing, great job! 😊

I have nothing but praises for Princess Cruises. I had reserved a cruise for early 2023 for 5-days with 4 port stops. A few weeks ago I received an email announcing the itinerary changed to 3 days (losing two port stops) and my adjusted invoice would arrive shortly. Initially, I was frustrated and felt this trip may not be worth taking. This week, I received a new invoice where the charge was reduced by 50% and my Princess Plus option was upgraded to Princess Premier. While I would have enjoyed the longer cruise, the early announcement has afforded me time to extend my vacation at the final port by a week (using the reduced invoice savings). Thanks for making your channel a go-to spot.
I am on the Sky Princess just finishing an 8 day cruise to the Norwegian Fjords, & we stopped in Alesund, Olden, Skjolden & Stavanger. It was a splendid cruise with good weather & your videos were helpful. My next cruise is a 16 day to Hawaii round trip from San Francisco in December on the Ruby Princess. I have done this cruise several times & it is a favourite!
This will be my 6th Hawaii cruise on Princess r/t from San Francisco & I can’t recommend it enough! You have to like sea days, & the visit to Honolulu (on Oahu) is from 7:00-23:00 hrs.
A little late to the party. We just booked this exact cruise. Your blog was extremely helpful both on the ship and in the ports. We picked up some tips that we will use moving forward. We have sailed Princess a few times, but never overseas.

First cruise? Amazing, have lots of fun! We buy one for every ship we've been on... they've bee a little difficult to get hold of recently though as they are struggle to get them in stock, thankfully we got ours last year on our first visit.
Thanks for taking us back to a fabulous week! Sky Princess is a beautiful ship, love Princess Live so much fun with the quizzes and gameshows. Sadly Sabatini's for us was ok but wouldn't rush back! Agree the Ocean Medallion is currently not fit for purpose. Great review, really enjoyed it!

It looks lovely. I suppose that when they introduce the fancy tech systems, the staff depend on them and when they don't work, it throws everything out of kilter. Whereas in the 'old days' when you relied on asking for something, it was simpler. Less space for things to go wrong! Thank you for the video!
I’m (luke) not a fan of tech I’ll be honest and I totally agree with you there, however I’ve gotta say, when the tech works, as it did on Regal Princess the experience is magical! It’s like fancy a snack, tap tap tap on your phone, literally a few mins later boom and there it is! 😂 this also works with alcoholic beverages too 😉🍻😂❤️👌🏻
Great video lads, we were on the week before, and that App, Jesus it annoyed the hell out of me - but I did find that the things Princess do well, they do VERY well. The food in the Crown Grill was a standout for me. I'm still dreaming about the black and blue soup!
...have to agree Princess does not do Everything the best ... but what they do claim they exceed expirations ... Sky Princess is on my list too ... want to try the crown grill again soon ...
I love a good ship tour, but I know you guys prefer the review style like here, of late. You did an excellent job and I have to say at 35 minutes was rather thorough. It really is a perfect format for a review of a ship vice a tour. Really well done!
Thanks Bob, the problem we found with our ship tours was that we didn’t have enough time to explain things properly and we had a few comments saying we were rushing and talking to quickly so, we figured if we talk about everything and then add our footage in to help inform- it might work better. I guess it’s taking on criticism and feedback and working on what the audience wants.👍🏻

Used the app for room service a few times and apart from once came within 15mins. Very impressed. Also used it a few times in the piazza when it was busy and were struggling to get the attention of a waiter/waitress. Worked OK and was guaranteed to get at least 2 servers turn up and ask you if you wanted a drink within minutes 😂😂 We were the 2 waving by the way 🖐️🖐️
Hello! 👋👋 we’re glad you managed to get service so prompt using the app, it’s always amazing how people can get totally different experiences on the same cruise but it happens, my (luke) phone didn’t even work on WiFi most of the time let alone let me order food, as we said it didn’t stop us having a good time and we loved the cruise! The medallion definitely worked better on Regal Princess and when it works it is a fantastic thing! It was great meeting you both! Did you spot yourselves in the videos we’ve put up! We were booked on discovery back in March but with the ships delay entering service our cruise was unfortunately cancelled! We’re sure your going to have a brilliant time! Enjoy every minute! ❤️⚓️👍🏻
Lovely ship and have cruised with Princess a number of times. Staff as always are brilliant. Unfortunately 2 negatives for me - Not told so unaware and really disappointing is that they have got rid of the two set times dining in main dining room. Its basically all anytime dining. Also and what i find hard to believe is that though sailing from the UK when weather is usually cold/wet/windy or all three - there is no indoor pool. Will definitely figure into planning future cruises.

We don’t like winging lol we had a great time despite the tech glitch, as we’ve experienced it (medallion tech) on Regal we know that when it’s working it’s truly magical but for some reason Sky struggles with it, which is a shame, but we wouldn’t let that ruin our holiday! I’ll (luke) start working on the vlogs this week, we’re hoping to do a live Q&A about P&O Aurora and Sky Princess next Friday but they vlogs are coming!

Hey guys…yes after seeing you last years video on Sky at the Crown grill i made sure i went there and you are spot on it takes about a couple hours minimum but WOW the food was good. Then after having the French Onion soup there I had my restaurant manager in club class talk to the manager at the Crown Grill and i had them being over that French onion soup to the Cielo every night…yum. In the Piazzo the violinists i listened to most days. Loves the video on the fjords…It looked quite beautiful. Thx guys😊🚢
@@CruiseMonkeys Indeed i did but by then i was stuffed!!! I had the beef steak chop and it took up the whole plate…but i was determined to finish…i had to sneak the cheesecake back to my cabin. Next time i am going to bring a zip lock bag…BTW i had the surf and turf in the Sky and the beefsteak chop on the Regal

Loving your videos and finding them very useful, like the laid back casual style of presenting the information instead of ramming it down your through at breakneck speed like some others.. Have booked the Princess plus package but a little confused if it’s individual drinks up to $15 or 15 drinks per day ?
Glad you like them! So the package includes drinks up to $15, with a maximum of 15 alcoholic per day. If you go over the 15 alcoholic drinks, you have to pay as you go then, but your water and soft drinks will still be free. We did find with wine, say it was $11 for a standard glass, you could ask for a large glass but that would count as 2 drinks from your 15 then. Hope that helps.
We always find your vlogs useful and informative . I love how you look through a positive lens. We’ve never been on a Princess Cruise. To date we’ve done P&O, Cunard and Marella. We prefer ships that aren’t child-heavy so wondered how you felt about adult-only v family cruise ships?
Glad you find them useful! So try princess, it’s familiar and comfortable like P&O but service and quality of Cunard! We’re the same, prefer to avoid school holidays - means we can enjoy the pools. To be honest, we’re just big kids 😂
I was on Sky Princess April 30 - May 14 for a Mediterranean cruise & we had 3100 passengers. Love the ship, especially Alfredo’s. Medallion was hit & miss.

I took my first cruise two months ago on Sky Princess! I liked the ship, the staff, the food, and most of the entertainment. The excursions were hit or miss, and there was no wifi. It didn't matter much, I still had a great time!
We feel the same about the WiFi, we like being disconnected on holiday but it would be nice if the medallion tech worked as it did on regal princess that cruise was totally magical! The fjords are absolutely stunning if you get the chance go there! It’s amazing! 👌🏻

There’s really not much in it, the two are very similar but personally we think if regal is cheaper go regal! The good spirits bar is bigger 😂 both ships are lovely!
Lovely ship but shame on some of the staff. My rollator was lost for 6 weeks with no apology from anyone, it had been lost in luggagehold and did 4 further cruises by itself. I had to buy a new rollator but Princess office staff rudely asked if I really needed this item. I have severe walking difficulties and 81 years old
gutted we had our sky princess Cruise cancelled due to covid related criteria , this looks amazing. As drinkers would you say 15 drinks in the drinks package is enough? plus are these drinks included in the extra pay dining?
The drinks are included throughout the ship dining venues etc but it is the 15, after that you are charged. We have exceeded this 3times during a 7 night cruise and you just pay for the additional drinks, however double check the soft drinks ordered after you hit your limit as sometimes these get charged and they are free! Top tip, if you can, bring alcohol with you! (U.k) they don’t check 😉
Hi, all - as a couple, could you in theory have one of you on the drinks package and share the 15 drinks between the two of you (with the lead passenger doing all the ordering). Between the two of us, we would not get through 30 drinks, but it looks good value if just one of us upgraded? (However, recognise tips would be added to the second standard fare for the second person).
Thanks! You drop off luggage as soon as you arrive before going in to the building. You'll see large baggage bays whith signs on saying which deck they accept luggage for. Hand them over to the porter than make you way inside for check-in.

Hi, the best place to check is on www.princess.com/plan/cruise-with-confidence/cruise-health/frequently-asked-questions/ as it will depend where you are cruising from/to. For Americas/UK/Europe cruises they have lifted vaccine requirements, but do check the website for the official answer :)
