Gopro needs to use this as a promotional video! I mean seriously shot on one of their products exhilarating sport beautiful views and a crystal clear camera to capture it all a headliner for sure!
Hawaii is such a paradise. It's a good thing you were using GoPro Hero 4 to record your skydive. It feels like we're also with you. A must watch in 1080p!
I've jumped at this place and your videos still gives me sweaty feet. That view of having your shoes hang over the edge with the "Oh Sh*T" feeling followed by the "lets go" is too real. I still plan to go again.

Nice video man! I can't wait until I skydive for the first time this summer and get my own footage with the GoPro! Currently I'm in the process of uploading some footage I got in Europe which is some fun stuff but hey. Cool stuff.
just bought a gopro hero 4 black and am looking up videos taken with it and yours was the first one that popped up lol i didn't even realize this was oahu until you jumped out and i saw kaena point haha lightbulb! i live in ewa beach :)
Nice pics, lovely flight and a big progress by Gopro 4. Very sharp, brillant. Guess you recorded at 2 or 4 k and converted to 1080p. So I'm looking forward to my Gorp 4 Black.
Every time I watch a skydive video the less I want to do it. I wanted to do it no problems before all these awesome HD skydive videos came out but now the fear is real lol

Having lost my Hero3+ , I sprung for a Hero4 (HumbleOutdoors w/free Grenade Grip & Arm). The camera evolution steps are getting smaller... It's hard to improve on a great product. My guess is GoPro worked on the reliability issues... that's why I went with the Hero4.
Did you use a standard head strap to strap the camera on your head? I am thinking of buying this camera and wondering if they sell good head straps or should I buy 3rd party?
Amazing video. Often I will see amateur 1080p gopro videos posted on youtube and their quality will be significantly reduced once uploaded. Most of the time you will have to enable 1080p on youtube before actually noticing the good quality gopro offers, but you're video is already really sharp just at 480 enabled. How did you approach the uploading process? Thank you.
hey i just bought a gopro 4 black too and I want to take it on a skydive next time I go up but my video is kinda choppy when i'm testing it out, I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me what settings you used for this jump
ComMander0525 if your main chute fails, there's often another one to take its place. the odds of both failing are insanely low compared to one of them failing
Does gopro hero 4 has any added stuff like monopod/holder etc? And what +ability than blackvue sport sc500? Which one do you recommend cos i wanna buy one
