One of the best things to do is take Zicam or Zinc tablets, which prevents and reduces the cold symptoms. Getting enough sleep, washing your hands (not touching your eyes/mouth) is also a good precaution.

i've been sick for like 2 weeks now. it sucks. My chest is killing me and it's making it hard to breath. Where i live there's at least 7 viruses going around plus the flus 2 weeks ago everyone at my school or most people got so sick there's was like no one at school. it's crazy and just last week we had over 41 confirmed cases of h1n1 but now there has been way more.
I didn't knew you had a brother... How old is he? Tell us more about if he gets better. My mom got her vaccine because she works in hospital, but me and my little sister have to wait to get it... because on December 7th, we will be elligile to have it since we're over 5 years old and we a in good health.
are you serious about this? in my skool if you show any flu symptoms you HAVE to isolate yourself for 2 weeks... but some skools close when one person gets it. im sure its not that bad (though i wouldnt really mind a holiday for a few days!!)

I already got my vaccination. I got a fever after it and woke up at 1:00 in the morning two days after not able to feel my body. It's a;; good now, though. :P Ahh skye you and your brother, rocking masks and heart sunnies. i lovee ;)
It's important to avoid using hand sanitizer, or at the very least, avoid using it as an alternative to washing hands. And, when washing hands, avoid antibacterial soaps.
