Framework Ward was so legit. Victoria Hand was his John Garrett in that world, so you know he was on the straight and narrow, and you know his love for Skye was been real. Man, if we could get a Ward redemption story next season or we could just go back to that Framework world again just to see these two together I'd be happy.

I'm rewatching season 1 atm and it's kinda heartbreaking to see their relationship which was so natural and genuine at first change when Garrett finds out about it and Ward's job becomes getting Skye to decript the harddrive. His genuine affection and care for her (which is so so visible especially after she gets shot) turns into this kind of obsessive behaviour. He knows what Garrett and the people around him are capable of, he knows how in danger Skye is because they almost killed her once before. He feels like he owes Garrett everything (Garrett manipulated the sh*t out of a broken teenager...) but he also wants to keep the team and especially Skye safe. It's so so heartbreaking because he chose Garrett over Shield and over the team at the really crucial moments (Not killing Victoria Hand but Garrett instead being the first one, he could have also not told Garrett about the Gravitonium, stay at Providence and explain to the team etc etc). There are so many points where it would have been so "easy" for Ward to leave Garrett and stick with the team, the people who genuinely cared for him and the people he genuinely cared for and loved, but years of manipulation, emotional & mental abuse and brainwashing made Ward choose Garrett. And the more I think about it the sadder I get. We see in the framework how Ward could have turned out. We see that he wasn't a bad man, but an empty kid with a bad influence. Also, props to Brett for being such an incredible actor and being able to show the subtle changes from genuine love to obsessive love

I think Skyeward is the most tragic shortlived ships I've ever shipped. I shipped her with Lincoln and Robbie and Tripp. So much chemistry. Anytway Skyeward was so shortlived cuz we mostly all shipped them then found out about Ward so it became toxic and not at all what it was built up to be. It would be amazing if in season 5 they did her with Robbie to try it out and in 6 Ward came back reborn somehow but the same age and they worked things out.

I think Ward was a wasted character maybe I just like Redemption Arcs but I feel the 1st half of season 2 set up his Redemption pretty well if he hadn't gone down that rabbit hole of being an evil scumbag during part 2 I think he really could have redeemed himself fully. I get that it was the writers choice and that you could argue some people are beyond help but I don't believe that I feel if they try and do their best they can change and while I am happy that Skye ended up with Daniel this ship was the one I was rooting for even in season 3 but that was just giving myself false hope (in season 3 I mean) but yeah. If nothing else I recon they should have had Ward and Skye get together in early season 1 and forget about that whole May and Ward emotionless sex thing it was kinda pointless in the end I found at least had they made Skye and Ward get together instead and built their relationship up it would have been even more heartbreaking when he betrayed them and then us Ward x Skye shippers would have gotten our wish and the writers could have done whatever they wanted.

The love/hate dynamic they had was really interesting... although I was never a huge skyward shipper, it was interesting as heck after he was shown to be Hydra.

This has pretty much become my Skyeward anthem. And the writers may have torpedoed and sunk our battleship, and maybe it doesn't fit with the times, but I will go down with this ship, see it rise as a ghost ship, sail it with a skeleton crew and keep it alive.

Wards character deserved more 🥺

Can we all think for a second in the framwork it showed then their biggest regret or what they wondered would have happened if something in their life didnt happen. For Coulson it was if he never joined shield, fitz was if simmions was never in his life, Mack was his daughter and so on. But if we think about is Daisy' was if Ward never died and if Linclon was never in her life. She was with Ward. So some part in Daisy is telling her she wants Ward or else that never would have happened. Ward always said Daisy was more like him than she realised and he was right because the more we watch Daisy grow in the season the more she acts like Ward even if she doesnt realize it. So much has happened in AOS and we all know Ward and knowing AOS an explosion in space isnt gonna stop Ward. I feel like some way some how Ward and mabye even Linclon were rescued somehow because the Kree were always up there. So theres a chance they are still alive...Cross your fingures everyone cause season 6 here we come...!!!!!✈🚀💥🌟

I kinda feel like they should’ve continued Ward’s story much differently then they did. He should’ve gone through with getting his mind wiped and renamed JT James and low and behold he ends up taking fish oil because of course Ward would be a health nut in whatever life he’s leading and he ends up going through terra genesis. Of course they have to bring him in and index him and he eventually ends up back on the team. He would’ve made a better hellfire than the one we got. This would also be a clever way to keep the SkyWard ship alive while also being comic accurate because Hellfire and Quake were a couple in the comics. Probably a stretch but I liked Brett Dalton and he deserved to be a hero lol.

I'm just sad that SkyeWard wasn't resolved. Brett gave an interview around this time last year and said that fans would be happy with the SkyeWard resolution and I wasn't. There was no resolution. Ward was obviously someones regret, as that is the only reason he would have been there and it was never discussed.

The writers destroyed Ward character for nothing. They tried to made him the great vilain for one season, who do people think that was great?! He and Daisy had such a chemistry and could be a great couple.

I think they were soulmates, but not in a healthy, love each other live together way. More in a way that they need each other, and still hurt each other and would never work. Edit: This is also why neither of their relationships with other people work out, and why well- framework.

Aos is not streaming anymore. Ward has been dead since s3. Daisy is now with Sousa( and I like it). But I still can't help myself from thinking how it would have turned out if ward decided to betray Garret to stay with the team. Skye/Daisy would have been so happy. And she wouldn't have had to face ward's betrayal or Lincoln's sacrifice. (Btw I'm a staticquake shipper too).

I think they ruined Wards character potential,I loved the plot but still,I feel as if afterwards the reason he acted like he didn't care was because it was easier to act that way and because Gareth had manipulated him so much at such a young age and he didn't know how to act or how he felt,he was really abused growing up and when he touched the staff it ruined him,yet nobody really did anything,no help,and he kept himself,he was told at a young age killing is right,of course he believed it

Tbh... I never got why the writers permanently made him into a bad guy. He had so much character growth n season 1 but after h became a villain, his character was pointless. What a waste.
