Ima Survivor Sanctuary has already evacuated their animals including the pigs. They've evacuated the Morrow families smaller animals too & moved the cattle to high ground over the last few days. But its up to Shirtless Jakes backdoor & they're opening gates & cutting fences for any animal that needs it. ISS does have a berm that's higher than Harvey ever was. Everyone is watching & praying for both them & others. Lester will be posting drone footage soon too.
Yep, That was Pops and Gi's house at the beginning of the video and as they pan around to the right, you can see Uncle Dan's, Jake's, Bri's and the back of the ISS barn. So strange seeing the Hill from that high up.
That’s so scary to see a Skyview of a place. We’ve all come to love. Sending prayers to the Morrow family and all the animals that couldn’t get evacuated. You’re all in the world thoughts and prayers. The love of my farm family❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Prayers go out to Morrow family seeing Skyview opening with Jake’s shed breaks my heart. They got as many animals as they could and they’re safe at longhorn Lester. It’s truly heartbreaking for the animals who couldn’t get out and my prayers go out to the first responders everyone please be safe love my farm family❤❤❤❤❤
Sure has been something to see them trying to get their animals loaded and taken to Lester's. They should have not waited so long IMO. I am praying for them all. PawPaw said the water will probably get in their home, but they plan to stay with family tonight, if they can get them out. Prayers for the Morrow family and all in Plum Grove and all affected by the flooding.
I thought that looked like Jake's shed! There is so much heartbreak, and heroes everywhere! I was listening to the scanner for Livingston also to hear about Longhorn Lester's area. Love and prayers for all those affected by the flooding and the same for those affected by the tornadoes! ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Your opening shot was of Morrow Hill and Ima Survival Sanctuary. I follow all the Morrow channels. The Morrows have pulled together to evacuate all their animals and family members. They did an amazing job.
Ima Survivor Sanctuary, Longhorn Lester’s, From Suits to Boots, Life on Morrow Hill, Hanging with PawPaw, Catchin Up with Kim, Daniel Marrow Outdoors, Shirtless Jake Homestead, the Denman Homestead, MadebyMegan, Flip Flop Farmer.Almost the whole family at their Plum Grove property videos.
Thank you for covering this! Like the comments say, the Morrow Hill family is in the first view. Lester Morrow had addressed this problem years ago. Flooding like this in Plum Grove is unprecedented, before Harvey…and this isn’t even a hurricane! Please do something for the drainage and/or stop building over natural swamps! Do right; especially for these families that have been there for generations! Prayers for all families impacted! 😞🙏💞
The Morrow family sat on the Plum Grove City Council that granted Colony Ridge a 45 year exemption to all city taxes, annexation, AND REGULATION though. Morrows helped enable this mess out here. Not that I want the animals to suffer or anything.... but who flees the rising water leaving their animals to drown in pens then returns days later with a camera to document themselves crying over the bloated bodies to post to their RU-vid channel? Y'all might aught to think about that just a little! Just saying, and not sorry for saying so. 😐
@@michaelshrader5139 If you're talking about Harvey, I believe Lester stated they had no warning and no time or resources to get the animals out. IF any Morrow sat on the Board, how do you know they voted for 'this mess'? IMO I doubt any Morrow sat on the Board. Just saying.
What Morrow was on the council??? Ask of the Morrows I know tried fighting against all of the development and tried hard to show council what they were doing to the infrastructure. It was all done by the greed of the people in that government. NOT A SINGLE MORROW
To bad they do not report how the government in that area approved all of the development causing all of the drainage to be a problem every time it rains heavy.
Some of those areas are very old, not new builds. I think this was done intentionally to get them to move so the real estate people can take the land and build on it. In newer areas around Houston, they build bayous to prevent flooding. And they’ll even go back and deepen and widen the bayous to prevent flooding. The old neighborhoods don’t have that so they flood more.
Seeing lil'o Plum Grove making the news just breaks my heart!! Especially knowing this magnitude of flooding never existed before the development of so many new homes. Just so sad 😢
@@LoriL010 1994 was the first recorded one in generations, so a hundred years or so. But this one makes 3 more in just the last 7 years. A few years ago Lester showed a video of natural drainage areas being intentionally disrupted for the benefit of, let's say, financial gain... showing road damage and flooding situations that had never occurred in many generations of their family's heritage in that area. Having worked for a city government myself, I know that the elected officials are supposed to conduct proper zoning laws to prevent such things. I've also seen things in my own small town in a very flat region of Texas where the same thing happened to a neighborhood that never flooded prior to a new development that now floods often, even causing their property to be reestablished as a flood zone, causing their property values to drop and their insurance premiums to soar.
@@LaurieDean-wy3xb Who is Lester? A reporter? And Texas is growing too fast. 1994 and Harvey, both record rainfalls, so it's not a 100 year floodplain anymore obviously. I wish people would stop moving here, but you nor I can stop them. Abbott keeps luring major businesses here with open arms and generational tax free or reduced tax benefits. And no one attends their local planning and zoning meetings to contest new development before they even start. A very small percentage I can guarantee you. So...here we are.
Wow, floods and rain on one side of the planet and heat on the other, just now I saw the scary flood somewhere in Brazil. Lord have mercy on us all!😵💫
Exactly. These floods have been getting worse since they have been repaving the streets and expanding. And supposedly from 2015 to today they have been improving the gutter system but Ive only seen it get worse over the years. Theyre lying and robbing taxpayers.
Unlike in 2017 when they left all their animals to drown... but then returned days later with camera in hand to film themselves crying over the bloated bodies of their dead animals so they could post the video on RU-vid for sympathy and Likes! How sick is that? 😕
@@michaelshrader5139 They didn't know then what they know now....jerk!!! You are the sick one for being so judgmental! Have you ever lived through such a thing? Lot easier to be a keyboard warrior, huh?!!!

@@michaelshrader5139 What is your real beef with Lester, did he give you a failing grade when you were a stupid kid?? You don't win anyone over with your repeated lie, not working!!!
PLUM GROVE planners have a lot to answer for granting permission that blocked of so many drainage channels completely exacerbated the situation. if the source is down playing it you need to ask how much money they have made and are making from this development!
Because City of Plum Grove didn't approve a permit request by the Developer in 2015 (at the advice of the City Engineer who had concerns about the flooding it would cause if city approved it), the Developer sued the City of Plum Grove in Federal Court for $2 million that year! A little city of barely 600 people (including children) did not have the funds to fight such a lawsuit. Developer offered to dismiss his lawsuit only if city agreed to a 45 year exemption from all future city taxes, annexation AND REGULATION! The little city having no choice, agreed to the developer's demands. So the only regulation would have had to come from Liberty County Commissioners Court and Judge Jay Knight since then... and they stamped "Approved" on every permit every plat of lots for sale that Colony Ridge has wanted! So who is to blame for this mess then? You have to know the entire story before you start to place blame Jess! Now I was on the Texas Ethics Commission's website Searching their database of campaign finance records and donations, and I found where the Developer William Harris (using various alias mind you) and his wife Celeste Harris have donated $1.5 Million to Governor Gregg Abbott... among others. So you might want to have somebody ask Gregg about that Jess cause I've begged reporters to ask him and these news reporters around Houston area do NOT want to talk with me or anything!
@@michaelshrader5139 They don't want to deal with anyone of the public who are paying the real price of those "DONATIONS" vote him and his chronies out!
That has been asked so many times... because if you lower lake levels you lose the ability to launch boats so the lakes become unusable if it doesn't rain enough to fill them back up. If you go to lowering lakes levels days before a possible heavy rain event, then the event misses your watershed area or isn't nearly as bad as it had been predicted to be, now you have a lake with unusable low water levels that you cannot fill back up because you cannot close off the dam which would dry up the river system below the dam. Storm-water from the Dallas area is still coming down the Trinity River from Dallas, it'll be a few more days before it reaches Lake Livingston and they know it's coming the Livingston dam was releasing 100,000 cubit feet of water per second last I checked and it's got the Trinity River below the dam just max'ed out and is flooding communities all along it but they have no choice they have to get the lake level lowered (from all the rain that just fell locally) in order to make room for the inrush of water from the Dallas area now... timing is everything when it's raining so hard over such a large area all within days of each rain event! People living near the river systems are prone to being flooded weeks like this, such houses aught to be required to be built on tall pilings but so many don't do it that way. What'cha gonna do?
@21:43 you have Baptist Church Road labeled, but that road only goes to the right... to the left is Colony Ridge's "Private Road" R5000 named Trinidad Rd and that is the concrete roadway going to the left with all the trapped vehicles on it.
Expected? No. The San Jacinto River Authority didn't release water in anticipation of the forecasted rain. They are culpable. That's the news: GO ASK THEM WHY!
it’s heartbreaking to see, especially it could be prevented. Water authorities need to rethink/update water management. Don’t need to reinvent the wheel, seek experts in Netherlands famously fighting flooding for generations
@@idreamofparis7233 They are making announcements on the Next Door app. When people started asking them this very question they shut down replies. Classic. Maybe we should start calling them.
You mean the guy who in 2017 fled leaving all his animals to drown then returned days later with a camera in hand to video himself crying over their bloated bodies so he could post it on RU-vid for Likes? Yeah he is a real piece of work I tell you... only "work" isn't the word I'm thinking of! You fans of his, have no idea what he's like in real life! 😐
They all had to evacuate. It was farmers animals for miles that got caught in that hurricane. You need to do more homework before spewing hate and lies like that.
@@cindielegg5869exactly this guy above have been replying this to people in these comments sections saying something about Morrow Hill. What a hater troll he is 🙄
That video was filmed yesterday afternoon actually when the skies were clear. It's been raining since 4am or so this morning today though... and the river is about to really rise as the rain water yesterday morning is still making it's way down the East Fork and hasn't even reached Plum Grove area yet by my estimation (I lived in Plum Grove since 1987, so I know it very well).
Thank you for bringing this type of news to the people. When you and everyone else stay out of politics you all are worth watching 100% of the time. If ya bring politics then it makes everyone want to turn the channel. Thanks again!!! Edit; ✍️ prayers to all in this tragic event that is playing out in front of us. Sad 😞 🙏

No one wants to here from Lina the only reason she was elected was straight line voting which the law was changed. Judge Emmett was a super leader. Miss him now.
It's a disaster. and more could have been done by the recent builders and county council and the Mayor to divert this with better planning and engineering
Why does that matter? You don't really want to go swimming in these waters trust me it's full of everything from bacteria to ant colonies just floating along.
You all should have been covering this since the Oklahoma tornadoes. You've had plenty of time to know it was coming why are you acting like this is sudden?
Been looking at the IMA Survivor animal sanctuary and they have had to move most of the animals out to save their lives. Some of the families homes have been flooded and things ruined. An elderly couple RU-vid PawPaw have lost a lot of their furniture as their home was flooded and I am sure they are not alone. The Morrow family is coming together to help out. Perhaps the USA can help financially to help people in Plum Grove. I am from the U.K. and I am so sorry to see the problems you are having.
