The way the blades become a chestplate. Never seen that before. Very nice change from how most figures just kind of leave the blades dangling off the back etc
If only the mainline were still producing figures at this level of quality... It's probably even more true for the movie verse figures. Such a good figure, and we'll probably never receive this level of quality again, at least at a $20 price point.
Cool figure! When his propeller is fully extended, it really reminded me of the Hurricane Megazord for some reason... Love his weapon! The blade just looks like something that could actually work.
Hi Balt Keep the reviews coming really enjoy them !!! I have a problem with mine I can't get the blades /rotator to come out of his chest like hours Any hints ??? Thankyou
Thanks for the review , Spada. I love the look of Sky Hammer, still waiting for wave two to hit the UK. For some reason I feel this mold would make an excellent Top Spin repaint, if he wasn't already making an appearance in the toyline.
i just discovered your channel, and been watching your vids lately, real awesome reviews! you go into great detail on everything and show the full transformation which is just fantastic. i just pointed to your channel from my facebook toy page--you can find me on there as patscollectible of course. thanks for the 5 years of reviews, lookin forward to more!
@Silverwing179 Yes it does. Especially when you know that it actually stands for Ground Effective Reinforcement of Winged Armament with Locomotive Knee-joint. It makes so much more sense than Guradian.```
You need to turn the yellow piece button of the sword counterclockwise while it is pushed in. It was very hard to get it turned for me too and I was scared of braking it but it did turn and after the first time it was very easy to do. By the way, DOTM sideswipe's mechtech gun looks awesome on Skyhammer. Much better that the gun that comes with him.
Love it! as soon as i saw this video i went to the nearest store that would carry it and purachased it for maybe 15 dollars. Ive never been a fan of plane/helicopter bots in the autobot team but this guy was just amazing. But sadly the handle on his gun broke off.
i got a sketchy 3rd party copy of him, and surprisingly, its not that bad, if one ignores all the incorrectly screwed parts and the slight transformation issues and the smaller swivels...
Sir, you should google "Nether Gundam"... I donno why but that's the first thing I saw in Skyhammer. Great review btw, looking forward to your eventual Topspin review.
I have to agree, dude. From the very first pics I saw of him long before the line came out, I wanted this figure. He just's just damn near perfect in every way. Only problem I have with mine(that you don't seem to have with yours), is there seems to be something off where the blades connect to the back section in robot mode. I can attach a few(although the tension is very firm, I don't like it), but I can't attach them all. Because they seem to be misaligned or something, with the back portion.
THE BLADE STAYS IN PLACE IF YOU PUSH THE YELLOW/GOLD BUTTON ALL THE WAY IN THEN TILL IT CLICKS, THEN TWIST IT CLOCKWISE A BIT. IT TAKES A LITTLE FIDDLING THE FIRST FEW TIMES. SORRY FOR THE CAPS LOCK BUT PEOPLE DON'T SEEM TO SEE THE ANSWER TO THE QUESTIONS ON HOW TO LOCK THE BLADE OUT
Oh man, it to bad you suck at posing(no offense), but it would have been cool if you put him: legs back, chest out, arms half cocked half out stretch, head up, rotating blades Fully Extended. You: Spin blades, yell or roar fiercely.
