skylanders was my childhood and this man made me think i was getting a new game now im angry and sad, i threw my phone in rage and now its cracked a tiny bit. im gonna go cry in my closet and listen to skylanders music while watching nostalgiac skylanders montages.
I'm 23 and living on my own in the military trying to build my life. Hearing the music brought my back to my childhood before my parents divorced, back to a time my mom would pick me up from school with a rare Skylander that just released as part of a new wave (camo).

I've followed Skylanders from spyro to imaginators and academy. I wish we had more, and hope we get more, but I get a feeling any new attempt is kicking a dead horse unless they can somehow revitalise it. One thing I would like is a big rounding off game. Like, superchargers felt like it was finishing off, but nope, imaginators not only came out, but gave us a new cliffhanger. I want something that links to a time even before the age of the portal masters. Some grand creation that, if threatened, may lead to the destruction of all of skylands, as well as grant (insert bad guy) infinite power. Something that makes us visit some old favourites, like the city of arkus, mount cloudbreak, etc, and in the end, it fixes all of skylands. A true wipe clean of all the evil. Could explain why the sensei's have villains in their ranks. Why we still haven't seen malefor in the games. I just want so much more!!!
Quite frankly I think it’d be nice to just remake SSA and Giants with todays graphics and put them in a combo pack. But this got me thinking, make a game where we have to go through different versions of older levels. Also there are villains among senseis because they proved themselves good by reorganizing the library
that is actually a great idea. I loved the idea of revisiting old levels. cutthroat carnival should come back. and remake some of the characters who have yet to be remade. and bring back gill grunt, because why not.
Hey your description matches my dream skylander game! In it all of the old levels are mixed together with new ones, and even an ancient race that predate the core itself. The ancient race needs to be tweaked a bit to fit better to the lore of the games, but overall I have a pretty cool idea that might work! I even call it “Worlds Collide”! It even has all that you’ve said and a bit more, it’s still a jumbled mess in my head rn but once I get it all together i bet it would be amazing, if only I could make it.

This was the last gift my mother gave me, it wasnt the wii version unfortunately, but a WIN MAC version. I'll forever love these games, and I wish to eventually be able to fully play the first and fifth games. This actually made me emotional. I fell for it, but thank you.
The amount of emotion this woke up in me. Some of the best times in my life were when I was just chilling and playing Skylanders. And the amount of pure happiness and joy I felt whenever I got a new Skylander with brand new moves and upgrades. I miss those times.
I had my hopes up. Just for a moment. Joy filled my soul but now it’s gone. But thank you for reminding me of a simpler time. And of a game I almost forgotten that gave me the most joy of playing. Here are my ideas for the Skylanders that I have worked on. I hope those are good, and the company would like them: _Skylanders: Fusion Squad_ Story: A familiar antagonist has returned and discovered a strong and mysterious force that can combine two beings into one. With that power, he can fuse his own minions into powerful beings to cause mayhem among Skylands. It is up to the elite Skylanders to put an end to his misdeeds, the Fusion Squad. They too have been affected by the mysterious force of combination. And with that power, they can become one and use their combined moves to take out their enemies. Gameplay: The players get to fuse two Skylanders into one being with combined powers and elements. But if their fused characters get defeated, they will be un-fused in the process, but the separate characters will still continue on their journeys. They can’t be combined again until their fusion health bars have been fully charged. After taking out the fused bosses, they will un-fuse and be fought separately. However, they will fuse again when their fusion health bars are fully charged, unless one of them are completely defeated. _Skylanders: Beast Hunters_ Story: Years ago, Skylands was in great peril by the destructions of the giant monsters known as “The Titans”. Every inhabitant fled and hid from the dreaded beasts. Fortunately, an elite group of Skylanders were called upon to take down the Titans, the Beast Hunters. After the Titans were defeated, they were sent to a place where they were chained and locked up along with the other caged beasts. However, a dark being with immense power managed to set all of the monsters free, and had the Beast Hunters banished to Earth. Gameplay: The Beast Hunters possess special ropes called “Beast Ropes”, which enables them to ride on the beasts and inflict damages on them. But the ropes will then break as the creatures try to shake the Skylanders off. Once the beasts have been taken out, they will be placed in cages and get transferred to Skylander Academy. The Titans, on the other hand, get chained up and shrink down. The Beast Hunters get to summon the beasts so they can fight for them, or ride on them so they can use their powers against them, or combine their powers with theirs. As for the Titans, they can only be used for tasks or when they are battling each other. _Skylanders: Mega Morphers_ Plot: An antagonist have created a formula that causes minions to transform into big, strong monsters. And with that vital recipe in his hands, he will create an army of powerful enemies to take over Skylands. An elite group of Skylanders were summoned to stop his evil plans. However, they had been affected by the formula that turns them into mega beings. Fortunately, they have their own will to fight against the antagonist and his army, and they were given the name “Mega Morphers”. Gameplay: The Mega Morphers can transform into bigger and stronger versions of themselves with new special powers. However, there is a bar that indicates how much time they will stay in their mega forms. After they have reverted back to their normal selves, it’ll take seconds for them to fully recharge. The Titans from the previous game “The Beast Hunters” return as playable characters. They have become small as the other Skylanders, but they can mega morph. The players get to face the bosses in their normal states during the first rounds, and then the bosses will mega morph in the second rounds. _Skylanders: Musical_ Plot: A group of sirens called “The Siren Sisters” have each formed their own band and cause the audiences to be in trance by the power of their voices, and the power of their band’s musical instruments. Their songs can be heard from all over Skylands through radios, televisions, record players, jukeboxes, etc. Fortunately, there are three groups of elite Skylanders (Dancers, Musicians, and Singers) that are immune to their mesmerizing harmony, and they are also capable of doing musicals. With their melodious powers, they can use them to break the Siren’s melodic spells, unlock secret passages and informations, complete the harmonious quests, and use them in battles against the enemies and bosses. It’s a battle of the bands between the Skylanders and the Siren Sisters. Gameplay: The Skylanders (Dancers, Musicians, and Singers) can battle their enemies with the power of their dances, singing voices, and their musical instruments. Their voices and their instruments can cause the effects on their enemies: some of the singers can cause their foes to feel differently like making them feel sleepy or disoriented, and some of the musicians can cause their enemies to do different types of dance moves against their will. They also use them to unlock the secret passages and informations as the players follow the arrow symbols. To break the melodic spells on the tranced victims, the Skylanders must destroy the apparatuses that provide music, and defeat the Siren Sisters and their bands. The heroes can fight the bosses regularly, but the musical battle modes will soon begin as the players have to follow the arrows coming down that points different directions: the heroes can dodge the attacks and inflict damages on the bosses with their physical and projection attacks, and the harmonic heroes can unleash a wave of note-shaped energy blasts that can inflict critical damages. _Skylanders: Space Crew_ Plot: The universe is in jeopardy as the main antagonist is searching for the elemental stones to become powerful. An elite group of Skylanders were called upon to stop his evil goal, the Space Crew. What they are equipped with are bio-suits and bioweapons. They must travel to different planets to search for the stones, and battle foes that are causing invasions. The Skylanders will have to use their capital spacecraft to battle other enemies’ capital spacecrafts, and they will have to pilot their Starfighters to fight against other enemies’ Starfighters. Gameplay: The Space Crew are a group of aliens from different planets. Both the Core Skylanders and the extraterrestrial heroes get to be equipped with bioweapons and bio-suits in missions. They get to use the capital spacecraft to travel different planets, and battle other enemies’ capital spacecrafts. The Skylanders get to pilot the Starfighters that will allow them to fly in the air and outer space, fight off other enemies’ Starfighters in flight, and travel underwater. Fryno’s and Tread Head’s vehicles have been upgraded to with alien weapons, and they can hover above the ground. _Skylanders: Ultimaters_ Plot: The final battle begins as the heroes have to face the Darkness along with the other main and mini-bosses. Those notorious evildoers have somehow gained the power to transform into their ultimate states. And with that power, they’ll be able to use them to take over Skylands and the universe. It is up to a special group of Skylanders to make sure they won’t succeed that goal, the Ultimaters. The elite heroes can also change into their ultimate states to eliminate their enemies at in instant. Gameplay: The Ultimaters can change their appearances when they are performing their ultimate moves on their enemies. After they have used up all of their powerful attacks, they transform back shortly. They won’t change into their ultimate forms for minutes. The main bosses can transform into their powerful states too, but the mini bosses can’t. The players can fight them in their normal forms during the first rounds, but the main antagonists will soon be in their ultimate forms during the second rounds. _Skylanders: Holidays_ Plot: Everyone in Skylands are having trouble celebrating the holidays. So the Skylanders and the festivity characters are willing to help them out. The holiday heroes can not only use their special powers to fight against evil, but to bring joy upon Skylands during the holidays. They’re going to make sure that everyone will enjoy their festivals with friends and families. And they are not going let enemies ruin their holidays and make them feel miserable. Gameplay: They are Adventure Packs of Skylanders: Ultimaters where the festivity characters and the Skylanders help the inhabitants of Skylands be happy on their special days. The heroes must rescue the villagers, take out the enemies that are ruining the holidays, and search for the missing items. Each festivity character has a different role: Beast Hunter, (Dancer/Musician/Singer), Giant, Imaginator, Ultimater, Mega Morpher, Fusion Fighter, Sensei, Space Trooper, Supercharger, Swap Force, and Trap Master. Baby New Year wields a rattle made of Traptanium, Krampus owns a demonic beast, Santa rides on a mechanical sleigh with a robotic reindeer, the Groundhog is equipped with bio-armor and a bio-shovel, and the Leprechaun can do three musical things (tap dancing, play the bagpipe, and sing). Some of the quests have bosses, while some don’t.
And finally, here are the holiday quests: *Christmas Quest (Krampus/Santa Claus) *Krampus* _Eliminate evil, living, Christmas toys that are wreaking havoc._ *Santa* _Stop the enemies from stealing the Christmas presents._ *Dream Quest (Sandman) _Enter the dreams of sleeping villagers to fight off nightmares._ *Easter Quest (Easter Bunny) _Search for the colorful eggs that contain the villagers inside._ *Groundhog Day Quest (Groundhog) _Find the Groundhog’s missing shadow._ *Halloween Quest (Pumpkin King) _Defeat the enemies that are scaring everyone, stealing candy, and pulling pranks._ *New Year Quest (Baby New Year) _Find the Age Bomb that will turn everyone into helpless babies before Happy New Year begins._ *Shadow Realm Quest (Boogeyman) _Travel through the shadow realm to rescue the children._ *St. Patrick’s Day Quest (Leprechaun) _Search and retrieve the Leprechaun’s pot of gold._ *Tooth Fairy Quest (Tooth Fairy) _Help the Titan search for his missing teeth that have been brought to life._ *Valentine’s Day Quest (Cupid) _Stop the anti-cupids from using their arrows to make the villagers feel hateful and violent._
One of my earliest memories is sitting at my wii u playing skylanders supercharged so seeing this although fake still fills me with warmth I do hope skylanders returns someday
Bruh my brother and I played through all the games, the only ones we didn’t have were Swap Force and Imaginators. We loved those games and still have a cabinet dedicated to just our figures. Obviously this game is long gone but watching this trailer made me cry just a little.

Bro i was about to cry thinking that my childhood favorite game was coming back to life i loved this game so much i still remember the day i started playing i got it on the wii and i was so excited to play skylander giants and i played all night and then three months later my fish died i was crying for a week but my dad cheered me up by buying me skylanders i had every skylander i miss being a kid

Either way, this is just incredible But one recommendation (just one): Turn up the volume of Hugos voice a little bit at the start.
BRO I just googled what the music composer of these games also did (a few dreamwork films like megamind) and he worked on the soundtrack for spyro's adventure with the one and only Hans Zimmer This soundtrack is blessed
My personal take on a Skylanders remake would be -The mainline games all remade in HD 1080p 60FPS the usual. -Online VS/Co-op in all games. -Newer Skylanders working in the older games -Extended Storylines in some/all games (extra chapters n such, superchargers deserves to be longer) -Car customization in Superchargers racing -This one's kinda random but the 3DS versions of the games as DLC -This one is totally never happening but beta versions of some Skylanders in the DLC (Template Template, Spark, Early Krypt King, you get the idea) -I'd also really like the Alpha Versions of some games to be included as unlockables but that's obviously not gonna happen either.
I came up with a comeback game. Skylanders Band Brigade! I’ve even come up with two slogans, “We’re Getting the Band Back Together!” and “It’s Time Evil Faced the Music!” Not only would it bring a new awesome unused concept, but it’s also a callback to all previous games😋! Basically the new special team of Skylanders have magical instruments that use a music based magic to fight evil and bring harmony. The starter is a tech Skylander with a keytaur, separate ones are like a fire Skylander with a electric guitar, an earth with bass, and others like a life with maracas!
