Listening again... This is the most brilliantly creative version of this song I have ever heard. This is more than just "improv" - this is flowing like water in a cool, mountain stream, flowing forth with such ease, with such genius. You play and you feel the music in a way that is very rare. I know we always find some words to express how we appreciate all that you do here but, there are times, when that praise can simply be inadequate,.....sometimes words cannot describe. ...like now. ❤

I ain't never yet found me a song that Hoagy Carmichael wrote that I didn't like - even the old fashioned ones, or the ones that werre very much 'of their time'. He deserves to be in that canon with Porter, Gershwin, Kern, Rodgers, Berlin, Cahn, Styne etc. Nice and fittingly languorous version of Skylark here.

Oh, I didn't realize until now after Googling that Hoagy Carmichael had also composed "Georgia On My Mind" and "Heart and Soul", and that he's a self-taught pianist. Sweet findings. Listening to Sangah perform on these RU-vid videos can be quite nourishing experience for our mind, heart, and soul, indeed. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🐕‍🦺🎹👊🙂👍

Hoagy Carmichael: We know him of course from Stardust. But this Skylark has at least the same qualities in my opinion. Convenience reigns supreme again. The blossoming notes roll into the room into our hearts. How beautiful life could be with music that still makes us happier than we already are.Bravo Sangah Noona with such a great performance.

I'm frequently going through past videos searching out favorite performances. I had thought you had played this before but couldn't remember when. You did play this in your live stream on 11/27/20. The arrangement was a little different, of course, but no less brilliant (I even thanked you in the comments for your wonderful rendition). I have to say, however, I think I like this performance a little bit more. Don't know why....maybe the tempo,..whatever. This one is so good.....I can't explain. Thank you again. 😎❤
