Lord Vader good looking out love🖤 I have been rocking out to Chapter II all day on this free music streaming called “band camp” I’m sure you already knew about it, but for anyone that doesn’t do social media like me it’s bad ass and recommend it to all my fellow SKYND lovers! I’m obsessed & humbled by their style of music that truly captivates all raw emotions into one, wow that’s real art... 🖤💋🖤
I understand Skynd does reasonable research into the killers, however if you’ve read the autopsy reports of this case the father had 17 defense wounds (22 being fatal) against the claw side of a carpenter hammer. The body chart looked horrifying, the father put up a hell of a fight. So you think your quip is funny...... it’s not.
Aint gonna lie every time i hear this i picture myself like rapping about my murder shit going down and having bodies all around the house and no one cant do nothing her music is that powerful makes you very mentaly vivid
I just love what you do...For years now Lisa Gerrard of Dead Can Dance was the female artist/singer whom I referred to as the "Goddess"... That designation for me now rests with SKYND... as always Blessed Be. Oh and please tour the USA I have already converted a number of friends to your work and they all love it.
You have awesome taste in music! I love Lisa Gerrard and Skynd and I'm so happy to see someone else have such a diverse taste in music. Both are phenomenal women in this industry and so creative!
@@musicfanatic247365 Thank you I also am a music fanatic.. May I share some of my tastes with you a similar music lover. My favorite group is Tangerine Dream (I have seen them 3 times). Currant tastes are Nightwish* Porcupine Tree*Bloody Hammers*Ghost*In Flames* Rammstein*and Band Maid (my feelings about Skynd are already on record). Notable concerts.. saw Jimi Hendrix 6-8 months before he died... saw Pink Floyd introduce "Dark Side of the Moon" while touring "Meddle"...have seen Peter Murphy 7 times at least.. and saw Bowie with Nine Inch Nails.. oh and I was in a mosh pit last Friday for a band called 3 Teeth. Got into moshing when I was in my 40s. Love good black metal. Oh I also like Baby Metal... Please let me know your tastes anyone who knows both Dead Can Dance and Skynd are close to my spirit... Blessed Be you and yours.
@@davadwilburn3595 ok so we have Lisa Gerrard in anything she does, Skynd, Nightwish, NIN, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, the great David Bowie (RIP 😭).... Great start! I am going to check out the others because I trust your taste in music now! 😄 Here are few I love: Enigma, Comjure One, Delerium, Deep Forest, Danny Elfman (who doesn't love the voice of Jack Skellington), Karl Jenkins, Antonio Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Paul Schwartz, Portishead, Sade, Secret Garden, Sarah Brightman, Josh Groban, Woodkid Those are all the relaxation/new age type groups For rock/metal I love: In This Moment, Breaking Benjamin, Stained, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation, Otep, Arch Enemy (Angela Gossow's era with the band), Chevelle, Seether, 10 Years, Marilyn Manson, Apocalyptica, Audioslave, Rage Against The Machine, Blindside, Deftones, KHZ, Korn, Linkin Park, Incubus, Metallica, Pantera, System of a Down, Stone Sour, Slipknot, Three Days Grace, Elena Siegman in the Black Ops sound track...so much rock to list! And then of course your classics like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Ramones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Elvis..... Really some of the best rock emerged out of the 50s-70s Have an awesome day Davad! I'm going to go research some of those bands you mentioned now.
@@musicfanatic247365 Much of your music tastes match mine very well. I also like classical music in particular Sibelius.. Tchaikovsky...Bartok. I have been a huge fan of Enigma and I find it interesting that you mentioned Karl Jenkins (who I have followed for decades) but not the band he is best known for...Soft Machine. Where else have you heard music by him? If you have not been aware of Tangerine Dream be prepared.. they have a very large number of LPS of many sorts and ex-members like Klaus Schultz have many.. many more recordings. Also Peter Murphy was originally a co-founder of Bauhaus and along with Bowie..Peter Gabriel..and Richard Butler of Psychedelic Furs I consider to be one of the best front men I have ever seen. Hope you like the others I mentioned. Let me know about any obscure bands you like right now. Blessed Be. One last thing I find myself very drawn to Marina and the Diamonds right now.
@@davadwilburn3595 the most common songs I return to for Karl Jenkins are Palladio and Adiemus. I do like some of Marina and the Diamonds work as well. I have also really been digging Missio and Billie Eilish.
I am sure that to sound like Yolandi, with "bang bang bang" was the point.. as the drum beat is also used in a portion of the song. This band basically a highly developed form of WitchHouse.. without the laptop DJ Bullshit, luckily.
As much as I love Marilyn Manson, and this is coming from liking Manson for about 20 years, SKYND are so much better, to me, of course. I'm more into dark, dirty industrial metal. Manson used to have that going, but he should hang up his hat, in my opinion. I'd hate to see them do a track live together. Please don't get me wrong, I totally respect what you're saying, but for me, it would be awful.
@@Mr.Manson sad, but true. I'd have loced to of seen MM in their prime. Caught them over here in the UK with their Mechanical Animals tour, and loved it, but I couldn't bear to see them live now.
You're woefully blind if you compare SKYND to MM. MM was a major influence, genre-setting artist who developed his own messages and shocked America, but enlightened those who looked deeper. All of which while displaying a very broad artistic style. SKYND basically remixes others' events (killers) in a electro-rock fashion that repeats itself from one song to the next.
How does she change her voice to make those different pitches i see those blue glowing light's on her finger's is it a voice augmentation device or something else i don't know. But i need to know it's really cool.
My theory is that it changes depending on how low or high she sings. I thought she was doing it manually but sometimes it randomly changes up for a split second.
I think it has to do with hand position. When she makes a fist her voice is low. When she’s holding it out limp it’s medium and when she flexes it out it’s high. You can see it toward the end more clearly
White South African here. Yes, she’s very influenced by Yolandi Visser & Die Antwoord. She mentioned this in a interview that she did at The Golden God Awards.
Tyler Hadley The sound isn't great on this video, it's much better live (Download). She said the next song (which I assume is this one) will be released in July
@@Orclin that's a mood. Thanks for getting this song. Did the new report in between songs say "Tyler Hadley?" I did some research and I legit live 40miles (I'm in US sorry) from where the party was. Spooky!
This is strange. I was there. This was the first band that night. I had never ever heard, seen, watched, or heard about or knew anything about this band. Liked them a lot and listen to them a few times every now and again. Fast forward to today. I went on a deep rabbit hole into Tyler Hadley. Then I saw this exact video being recommended. The exact video of the room I was in. The scary thing that made this go full circle. Was the fact I was on Ecstasy at this concert. The story of this song in combination with me being the same age as Tyler at the time and being on the same drug now makes it rather creepy. I had no idea of any of this at the time.
Hey fam you know the video itself isn't by Skynd and it's just a fan recording right? If you want them to notice you, tweet them a nice note. I've tweeted them a couple of times and they're pretty responsive to their fans. Even retweeted my review of Jim Jones and liked my reply about one of their pictures being my phone wallpaper. 🖤
@@mephistopheleslair8466 I mean hey when I initially saw your comment "I like your hair" it could have meant anything so like...iunno there are some pretty dumb people on the internet so you never know. Honest mistake. My bad. 🤷🏼♀️
