@@MrBazReviews thank you so much mate, ordered 👍 so excited for it to turn up now, I might be little overkill to charge 8aaa and 4 AA & 14500, thank you once again 👍🏻 Please consider more in depth of this charger videos ( using the phone application) tips and tricks
Quick demonstration of the MC3000 software, it does allow full control over charging, but fairly basic and you can't adjust charger settings or save the programs. If anyone has specific questions on the charging speed/types etc. Drop a comment below, and I'll get back with an answer!
@@bobcatt2294 Because it always shows charge and discharge capacity by default, and sometimes I don't get a notification on a comment. I'm a bit busy lately really busy. I do reply to people if I get notifications. Don't make assumptions
Hi! Why indicates the device that the input voltage is too low? You aren't using the original power supply? My own device doesn't do that to me. Even though I charge or discharge batteries with more current then when you recorded the video!
@@MrBazReviews Thank you for your answer! It escaped my attention... Even though you even say on the video. (When I viewed the video, my laptop sound was low volume.) I have exactly this type of charger. ☺ But i rarely use the monitoring program on the PC. Do you know? There is another (free) program in which the MC3000 is a supported device. The name of the program is DataExplorer. www.nongnu.org/dataexplorer/
I own this charger and I am confuse why I get two different values on the mAH capacity for the same battery and on the same slot. The software reports having a higher capacity where the display on the charger shows lower mAH capacity. So which one to go by? Do you know?
I have not seen that difference, when doing a capacity test the charger shows charge and discharge capacity on the information display. I've not seen any difference using the software from the charger
@@MrBazReviews Thank you for the response. It must be my USB cable or completed test being eschewed. The weird thing is they both shows identical readings during the refresh test, but after completion, I get two different results. I'm also wondering if the mAH values on the charger is the discharged value while the software is the recharged value?
@@unknown689 The software shows both try a reset I've not seen problems with this unit. I almost never use the software though, the app is the way to go as you can store programs
Its been 4 year you uploaded this video I just wanted to know that is it still working fine still? Do you find any flaws ?? Is this your daily driver? Would you recommend this or something else?
@@billsikes4007 Not many options Vapcell do one but declined to send it in for review so make of that what you think, the new Dragon has longer slots as does the VC8
Sort of the control is extensive, but most people won't need this level of custom features. It is useful for testing, overkill for many users. Doesn't mean it shouldn't exist, but their software could make it easier to use (I mostly use the app for testing)
I have just bought one, waiting for it to arrive. I might not really need all the features and I can't say if they really prolong the life of a battery. But this was clearly made by "enthusiasts and tinkerers" for people like them. You can download the manual as a pdf from their website (www.skyrc.com) and see if this might be useful for you. It's well written and sometimes even funny. Let me quote from the introduction: "Charging batteries is usually a primitive, boring task. Can’t fool your friends, it still is. In fact, this charger merely knows three elementary routines: charge, discharge, rest. However ... refining, combining, and repeating them in impressive cycles will make you feel dominant and superior! We hope that operating the device will bring albeit unconsciously some fun and satisfaction to an otherwise mundane activity: charging one's empty batteries. The MC3000 may be the most joyful not so compact 4-bay universal round battery charger in the world. Maybe. The creation of this product didn't arise out of need but from the desire to finally have a charger as versatile, accurate and powerful as a SKYRC hobby charger but tailored to a sweet battery tray for cylindrical single cell batteries; no more hassle with battery holders, fiddly wiring, clamps or similar DIY solutions".
