The Masks are dope. I keep them all in my inventory for no reason I wish if I left the masks at my house in a chest or something there would be a slight change of your kid finding the masks and when I come home he’s chasing his sibling with it on.

World scales with you in some cases or doesn't excpect you to make it with certain builds. Its also really easy to neglect your build if your a high level conjurer

That is, only if you can keep it. Which is possible with Pickpocket 100, just put it on Ralof/Hadvar (it says 0% but you'll need to keep trying), and return to Ulfric or Tullius and then at any point at your leisure you can go get it again

I think I had this happen to me once, but I don't remember. Either way, I don't need a glitch for that. All I need is to dual cast incinerate for free with the impact perk and gear enchanted to make destruction spells 100% cheaper, and nothing can do anything to you. That's why Miraak was disappointingly easy, and I beat him no health lost. I just trapped him in an impact loop. And then I turned around and killed his dragon in one hit (even if I didn't, it would've been trapped in an impact loop). Then turned back around and trapped Miraak in an impact loop again. Than Hermeus Mora stole the kill.

When I saw nahkriin, I had no idea of what the dragon priests were useful for when all killed. But I knew seeing him, that he had some type of significance. Being level 13 took me close to 2 1/2 hours since I didn’t have much I didn’t prepare. He actually got stuck in a doorway away from the dragons and I killed him very easy :)

In my first play through of Skyrim, I got all the masks but stored them all in my house. I put Volsung and Morokei’s mask on a mannequin. Then I took all the masks with me including the ones on the mannequin. I did the process to get Konahrik’s mask and then came back to my house and guess what. Volsung and Morokei’s mask where back on the mannequin so I had double Volsung and Morokei

If I ever play a mage I go strait for Morokei and then once I level up and have more reserve magicka I switch to Nahkrin. At that point if I'm using destruction spells I have so much magicka that I never need to worry about regenerating it.

Chromebook the damage compared to enchanted gear is way too low. you can 1 hit a dragon with all other weapons but with mage skills you cant

i think there's a helmet (or at least in the last gen version) that you can wear with the falmer helmet as well, which lets you have 2 helmets on at once. If you max your enchanting, and double enchant both, (or even just get the falmer helm and wear it on a dragon mask), then of course have some enchanting potions to use when you want to enchant, you could have some crazy boosts on you on top of the already decent enchantment from the dragon priest mask. I haven't gone that far yet on the older version, since i never knew about it, but if you want to get some unreal stats in the end (like 1.6k armor, swords with 500+ attack), then that's how you gotta do things. there's guides and all for that stuff, but finding out how to do it on my own (minus the 2nd helm thing) was a nice amount of fun. :3 although it took a while.

I don't wish to ruin your dream but there is only certain amount of armor that truly counts in the game. and it's way below 1000 region. after playing the game long enough you can literally wear anything you wish and you will have beat armor rating possible even with basic leather armor. I've seen a video dedicated to this but I don't remember what it was exactly. In all fairness, Skyrim is a RPG game, role play a bit. I Joined the Nightingales and I use their bow and armor even thou I could clearly have better items, but I'm part of them and it's looks amazing.

Mr Ununpentium it wasn't really a dream since i got an armor rating that high, but yeah, you're right. i looked up some stuff on it and it says 667 armor is all that counts (that 80% damage reduction cap), but they said you can take much less if you use a shield, and that's understandable. the attack damage on the other hand though... if there isn't a cap for that, and it doesn't seem like there is, then going through the motions to be practically godlike still have their benefits. i might jump on later on and see how this armor rating max thing works though. i'ma try my light armor set, then go back to my main one to see if there's any difference. i don't expect to see one, but it'd still be kinda fun to check. thanks for letting me know about that though.

I am rather new to the game and I like to explore in the nature, and today I was up in a snowy mountain when a dragon came and circulated over me, I started to shoot with my bow, then when it landed I used my war axe, then when it lifted again I backed off to restore; then I jumped high in my chair, it was and explosion and chaos, the dragon crash-landed and was dead, I ran towards it to take things not understanding what had happen, suddenly a super huge skeleton is over me fighting 6 ice trolls, so I back away even more, the screen go dark and I "found" a new shout; now I jumped into the fight and after almost use every potion in my inventory I got one mask (Krosis), and I love it for I love to sneak and use a bow.

5:05 I'm afraid not. Gauntlets cannot be enchanted with fire, frost or shock resist. However, if you use a ring and/or necklace, then it is possible.

Thank you, ESO! This guide will prove useful in making a checklist for when I start a new character. My current Dragonborn, an Orc, has kind of screwed up getting these, because I used Dawnbreaker to beat the Priests. The shockwave released upon impact appears to render the masks unretrievable or unfindable afterwards. So I've decided to use warhammers to beat them instead. I hope none of the remaining Dragon Priests know the Disarm shout...

The skeleton is actually rather recent. It was probably eaten by trolls. One of the masks has someone hired by the guy getting you to collect it by posing as a soldier

it should also be noted that you can wear the Jagged Crown along with the mask but I did cheated a bit to make myself be able to keep the Crown because if you played that mission you`ve to return to ulfic the crown or something like that but yea... plus the crown gives more armour rating(27 to be exact).

The 11th mask does not cost 9000 septems it costs 11000 in incroments of 1000. Then 2000 then 3000 the 5000 but you get 6 special pieces of apparel inclooding the mask. Ahzidal's ring of necromancy which makes summoned undead frost bombs , ahzidal's boots of water walking (obtained after the second step), ahzidal's ring of arcana which gives you the spells ignite and freeze ( obtained after the third step), ahzidal's helmet of vision which doubles the range of conjuration spells but makes them cost 25% more (obtained after the last step in a secret door in the first chamber with the rotating puzzle pillers) and ahzidal's armor of retribution which has a small chance to paralyze any attacker (I forgot what type of armor it was called and it can be found on the dragon priest's body I think with the mask or in the boss chest, there is a word wall for cyclone and a black book and a sralhim deposit).

My problem with this is that The nahkirin mask (already got) I put in a chest ages ago in one of my old homes, But i cant find it now. bethesda should make a chest in every house where you could access every available companions inventory so if that companion died or you dont know where they are you can still get the items you gave to them. Same with chests is your homes there should be a chest which is full of all the items of all the chests in every house you own.

I remember that there was a mod on Skyrim that actually gives you quest markers on the dragon priests to know where they instead of having to remember which dragon priest is where or having to write it down or whatever. Saved a lot of time and effort hunting them down.

My only problem with these is that they remove the use of the mage armour perk since they have the armour rating. Which is annoying since these are really meant for mage characters who may not wear armour at all and rely on the mage armour spells.

Well logically these items are made of solid metal so they got armor class and defense. ...and to be honest I didn't found the Mage Armor perk that much necessary to begin with... takes 3 points and even without it I don't get oneshotted because my HP pool and the base defense from the flesh spells provides enough protection.

for otar's mask, the effects are resistance to fire and shock and frost are improved. it doesn't make you resist all three.

If your armor rating troubles you, you can wear the Falmer Helmet with any of the masks. It looks like you're just wearing the mask, and if you have lvl 100 Enchanting, you can put two enchantments on each piece of armor, and just make it all magic based. I did that, and with the 25% reduction to destruction spell cost, I can cast all the hurty spells I want and still be near invincible with good armor. Not to mention the increases to Magicka and Magicka regen to compensate for the other spells. A little melee weapon damage bonuses on some gauntlets and you can be prepared for anything. Preferring warrior type characters, I can easily say becoming a frost mage because Dukaan looks cool was the best choice ever.

A dragon only shows up for Krosis if you've beaten the dragon outside of whiterun. If you haven't gotten that far into the main quest Krosis is solo (or summons a frost atronach).

I know this is old af, but just a heads up. The First dragon priest mask isn't that bad at all. It can make it so you never acquire Sanguinar Vampiris while fighting the Vampires in the entire Dawngaurd story line, assuming that you choose the Dawnguard side. Super useful when trying to stay on the right side of the story line without having to constantly sure it.
