I said it in the last build video and I’ll say it again: the amount of growth this channel has done in terms of production value, quality of content and especially backstories is unparalleled. Great to see y’all still keeping Elder Scrolls alive!
People who are saying stealth archers are cringy in the comments are really missing the irony of the fact that we are all commenting on a video about roleplaying fictional video game characters in a game that is over a decade old. I enjoy watching people fight over the title of "Coolest Nerd".
I actually didn’t know until this moment that it was like…a THING to build a specific character type, I always tried to level things up evenly, and now I know I have a shit ton of videos to watch and even more questions than I had when I got here. 😅
You know... becoming a hero in the legion but then assassinating the emperor would be the ultimate homage to both Mephala AND Boethiah. Imagine walking into the chamber of Titus Mede II in the armor of the legion, face uncovered, the hero of the empire come to destroy it from the inside out.
Couple of other possibilities: - Agent of Diabella in Markarth for the femme fatale aspect. -Since you are head of the cult of the spider goddess, use the forge on Solstheim to craft spiders and throw them at everyone.
I love this build already Edit 1: if a shout was to be used for this build, I think Aura Whisper fits really well. Not only is it useful but it also fits with the whole, Mephala's Champion vibe as she is sometimes called 'The Whispering Lady' Edit 2: alternatively, for those with Anniversary Edition, you could use the Grey Cowl and roleplay you stealing it from Nocturnal to please Mephala, which is something I did in my playthrough with this build
YES new content ! You also gave her a female voice ( She was very good ) I love It ! Thank you for your great work guys this will help me with my exam ☺️
@@Downesy5667 Nah Michael dosent have that high of a voice... jk but seriously frigging didnt know he was married. There is hope for all of us after all.
also one mod i would highly recommend for this character is wintersun so you can worship Mephala during the playthrough and get powers for it as well, would really help with the roleplay especially at the idea of pleasing and displeasing her depending on whether you stick to her tenants.
If you are like me and keep almost anything you find, you can use the "Torturers Hood" gained by killing the torturer in Helgen at the beginning of the game. It is a brown hood that can be enchanted, fitting the aesthetic and making good use of the helmet slot.
This is a fantastic build as always and your series has inspired me to experiment with mods and in-game mechanics to see if I can make a crazy build. I was successful in this when, with four specific mods, I made my own Skyrim build while basing the theme off the Dark Crusader. He is a religious Imperial monster hunter named Lexus Talion (the name is based off the Roman term "lex talionis," or the law of retaliation, otherwise known as "an eye for an eye"), and he is known throughout Cyrodiil and Skyrim as Lexus the Undying. The reason Lexus gained such a title is because, with the four mods I mentioned, I created a character who can come back from death four whole times. Andromeda Standing Stones - The Lover Stone grants the user the ability to cheat death when slain, a passive ability called "Undying Love." With another mod, Classic Classes and Birthsigns, you can get the Lover Stone power at the very start of your playthrough. Wintersun Faiths of Skyrim - When devoted to Arkay (which ties with Lexus' character and lore), the devotee can revive with full health upon taking fatal damage, a passive ability called "Arkayn Cycle." You can pray to recharge this "node" of revival, though it costs 15% favor, which you can easily regain. Vokrii Minimalistic Perks - If your Restoration skill is high enough, you can unlock a perk called "Intervention." Once every 30 minutes, a higher power (we can assume this is Arkay) brings you back with full health upon death. Reliquary of Myth - By acquiring the RoM version of the Gauldur Amulet, you gain an increase to your Health, Magicka, and Stamina by 30 points, and each regenerate 15% faster. The Knowledge of Gauldur unlocks the ability to resurrect with full Health once every 20 minutes. With this combination of mods, I have effectively created a character that can cheat death multiple times through legitimate methods without delving into necromancy or becoming an undead. Faith and love never die!
Voiced characters now? My dudes, you always find ways to up your game! I love it! She was very good! Hell, I would be down to help too. I am no expert, but you guys helped the community so much, its only natural to give back.
As one who always focuses on stealth archery, this is by far one of my favorite builds you've done. I especially enjoyed the narration of the back story.
It is insane how far fudgemuppet has come. The quality of these builds have gone up so much from the backstory to the video production itself. Great work Fudgemuppet!!!!!
My god that backstory and the narration was absolutely fantastic. Seriously if this woman did a full audiobook about the character I would buy it in an instant.
I also like to imagine that you enter the nightingales in order to deceive nocturnal and get/use the skeleton for yourself. It definitely fits with mephala treachery
A perfect build for me - I'm already role playing her in my head! I like playing a dunmer and I often go for stealth archer gameplay. Archery is generally my best skil even at low levels, and I love the stealth mechanic in Syrim. I'm going to get her started today. Many thanks.
This was incredible! New vanilla build, new toys, and another awesome first-person background story (with a female voice actor no less). Keep 'em coming guys!
I believe the animation mods are Vanargand Animations, and the vast majority of the visual mods are from Heavy Burns' RU-vid video "100 Graphical Mods to Make Skyrim Unrecognisable" Not as sure about the character visuals, but I think it's Total Character Makeover and Superior Lore-Friendly Hair
I’ve never thought about combining the shadowed netch leather armor with a thieves guild hood!!!! Because of the armors scarf it looks soo badass, like theyre meant for each other :D great find just there
This is probably the best Skyrim build video that you guys have done in my opinion with the voice acting and it gives the stealth archer a nice twist that most people would say is boring but this makes it’s much more enjoyable
Production quality keeps getting better and better with each video. Kinda insane to look back on the older content and compare it to the new stuff- especially with the addition of the female voice; really adds to the immersion hearing the character themselves. Hope to see more like it! :)
Absolutely brilliant build and my go to archer. I added 2 shouts I use. Throw voice and Slow time for if she gets caught. Other then that it's spot on. Figured since we're legendary Dragonborn which in her case doesn't need to be known to her or anyone else. I did eventually take a few into pick pocketing as she loves wealth and "To live like a queen". Thanks Fudge as always, guides are 100% A+ content. Back Stories are just amazing.
well made video on the build. it feels balanced because of your approach isn't to maximize on everything the game offers. I like that as you describe how accessible it is to different playstyles. Something rarely seen in youtube videos. Especially some of the early skyrim ones that basically have you grind out enchantment and alchemy and blacksmithing before you start playing the game. This was a refreshing change. I honestly didn't know about the bow until this video. Or maybe I forgot. So thank you muppet for bringing this to light. I really like the build it feels comfortable and simple. Again your description of the build isn't to be OP in everything, but to build as you play. Ive found this to be more enjoyable and I play the game longer with that new start.
You can go to solstime at any level, regardless of whether or not you do the main quest line. Just go pay the captain of that ship at windhelm. There is even a loading screen that tells you this. The dialogue just changes if depending on if you did the main quest or not.
SHEEEEEESH my boys are leveling up, even got voice actors these days. Nah seriously keep up the good work lads, great to see yall always striving to improve your already banger content
Scott, if you use Andromeda Standing Stones, then by Mephala, you should consider using the Serpent Stone. Sneaking costs magicka, but it makes you move faster and sneak attacks are 20% more effective.
With the Dragon born story line you miss out on some shouts that may be beneficial to this character so probably best to pick up some of those along the way. For me the Shadows Stone is a "better have it and not need it than need it and not have" because while 30 seconds is pretty good for stealth it can go by rather quickly in some cases so having a backup invisibility helps out a lot. Plus, daggers would help in this build as the bow of invisibility would make it easy to get behind people and then backstab them upon switching to daggers.
I absolutely live for FudgeMuppet backstories!!! You guys merge our love for the lore with RICH lore friendly builds, and make the most basic of builds seem just as complex as the Daedra themselves! Please do more! Also, huge fan of Mephala so if you’re able to do more lore vids on her, please do!
My God... I haven't watched one of your videos in a long time and... OH BOY YOU GUYS HAVE EVOLVED!! I'll have to watch every single build you guys have done I haven't watched. Kudos!
The Build Quality and Production are incredible i swear you guys make the engrossing setting of ES and make it into an interesting personal story in the most amazing way can't wait for that Ideal Skyrim plot vid if its still in the works
When the hidden blade mod releases I'm going to use it on this character. Imagine a deathweaver assassin doing air assassinations on people with a retractable blade. Good build, probably my favorite assassin build out there.
This is an amazing build and has inspired me to write a story in the form of a diary using elements of this build and backstory(credit will be given once it is officially posted ofc) with some creative liberties taken for personal preference and expansion on her background(and also to avoid blatantly copying the idea and character completely). This build, and video, is truly a work of art and you are a great inspiration
You got me motivated to role playing a character in a neww playthrough. I decided I’m making a Witcher esk character and build with alchemy being the main point.
I always love this kind of character. I remember one of your old videos talking about the best unknown daedric artifacts you guys had a dunmer lady in morrowind with a black robe and the Bow of Shadows. That character looked so cool lol.
It may be too late to ask, and it is a far out concept, but could you guys do a Khajiit Mane build, or something close to that. The Khajiit are one of my two favorite races, but none of the builds so far interest me, and I'm having trouble writing it in. If you couldn't do a build and still happen to see this, how do I write a convincing tale of a soon-to-be king, who lost his power, and now has to gain it back? Love all the builds btw, all masterful and really reflect the character that they are. Keep up the outstanding work guys! You truly are one of, if not the best Skyrim channel out there
I love how much the cinematic quality of these build videos has improved over the years. out of curiosity, what are the aesthetic mods used in this? the textures look great, and the movement is incredibly smooth.
Love this build, plus, the addition of the sweet lady doing the voice...epic. I did get a companion for her, the spider, since she is weaving a new web of assassins
Amazing video, the cinematics and voice acting really sold me on the build. I hope you guys can continue making these types builds with the video style.
This is so close to a build I made a couple years ago. The only differences being she was clan Sadres, used a lil illusion/ alternation, and slightly different armor/ ebony bow.. Im amazed at how similar the back story and head-canon justifications r tho.. great vid, love it
Congratulations on the sponsorship! I always feel bad I can't afford to financially support my favorite RU-vidrs so it's a relief to see you guys thriving regardless.😁
@@starwarzfan49 the idea behind it is,in ESO you have an ability to become a bone colossus type being. In skyrim at 90 conjuration you can summon one,but the roleplaying aspect is the colossus and skelemans i summon are going to be my characters mom and her henchmen. I know there is a huge time gap between the games. I get around this by in mind saying my ESO character found a way to make herself immortal and prolong her daughters life. The daughter only knows fire magic and healing upon being woke up by the ambush. After she gets her first conjuration spell her mother starts speaking to her. I have a huge story in mind but this is already a paragraph.
I just came back like I do every year to see if you made new builds and these new videos are just absolutely amazing! They are so entertaining and informative your channel is just so awesome and when I want inspiration for a build or to even get back into Skyrim I go to this channel thank you so much for your content I can’t wait to see more videos!!
