This place is absolutely massive! Granted, I am severely under-leveled and have mods to make the combat harder, so every enemy here takes around 5 bow shots. But I’ve been at it for 3 hours and am just about to finally enter the final door

Rahgot was my first Dragon Priest and I'd never even heard of Dragon Priests before I met him. Without doubt one of my most memorable fights in the entire game. Rahgot was the first enemy I'd encountered that I couldn't kill within one or two attempts. He was the first enemy where I really had to use strategy and defence.

Just a heads up , the glass claw key can be Knocked of the pedestal during the fight, so look around the floor to find it on the floor 👍👍

I just stumbled across this quest today. But somehow that damn claw got FusRohDah'd down from its pedestal and i missed it. Spent about an hour running around searching for it. Then i read about it, and spent another 30 minutes getting lost in the damn castle and couldn't find the room again. You saved me ESO.

I played this area hella under-leveled and with no company, (I accidentally killed Lydia a couple days ago, lol) and this was almost on some Dark Souls/Bloodborne difficulty being under-leveled. Maybe its because it just took me so long. I went through it by myself and cleared out everything but didn't get the mask so I had to go back in and that's when I looked up this walkthrough! Pretty sick area though.

I've been doing a solo playthrough and this place was hard. The room with the rising pillar had 3 deathlords, what a battle.

ESO insted of getting two draugr wight and one scourge i got two draugr deathlords and one death over lord it was hard but with my help of benor and steadfast dwarven spider i over powered them victory was mine yes justis

I found an ebony shield in this place at level one. There is a locked door next to the claw. It's inside the door on a shelf. Also a honed ancient Nord sword right across from the claw on a shelf. I have also found out if you pick the imperials, in the beginning, you will find higher leveled armor in dungeons and higher leveled weapons if you pick the storm cloaks at level one. Even with having smithing to 100 at level one will make them appear.

Oh, also, I had that bug happen to me as well, but with Serana, I think I remember you can fix it by opening the console, clicking her, type disable, then type enable. But try just sheathing your weapon on and off and maybe that fixes it too.

When you go to pick up the claw if it's already off the podium all you have to do is jump onto the podium and it will open the door

This was the toughest site to overcome in the game IMHO because you go against so many Draugh lords. At every room, they constantly come after you and you need to be strong enough to fight them all. Lydia took them all on most of the time, surrounded in flame while I got my clock cleaned most of the time. One of the best fights.

Very useful video, I’m currently working through all the DP masks. One thing though, I’m not a fan of the harsh high contrast lighting in this one, I find it annoying to be unable to see clearly.

I have been here for 3 years or so, and i love the long videos. Keep them going ESO. (sorry if i spelled something wrong here, im from the Netherlands)

From the first dungeon mask of stamina there is this note.. All the blossoms are to be harvested at once and brought up to the alchemical lab. Then clear space and begin burial of the children's bodies. It gave me the chill 🤣

I would rate you're voice overing 8/10. There are multiple times you talk normally while the video is sped up. There are also multiple times you mention something is happens before it actually happens. But good work, keep it up.

Today I went back to an earlier save from a time before I'd discovered Forelhost and did Forelhost by the book, without killing Valmir first. Still no glass dragon claw anywhere. It wasn't on a draugur (where some people have found it), and it wasn't lying around on a pedestal or anywhere else. I went through the refectory and the crypt at least four times each. I also checked all of the dead bundled-up draugur lying around. I got stuck in the refectory for an hour, just like I did yesterday. Apparently there are two doors back into the refectory from the crypt and one of them puts you in a different part of the refectory that you can't get out of again. When I finally got out, Valmir was alone and wearing the same clothes as before. He read the journal without comment and then started cooking something and ignored me. I tried to talk to him a few times but he had nothing new to say about the quest. He started to repeat his earlier line about 'get in there and earn your money.' It was like the last several hours of struggling through the & *@#?!! dungeons hadn't happened. Oddly, I noticed on different trips through that some chests and urns were being reseeded with gold and various potions were left out in locations where none had been on the previous trip through 20 minutes before. Kind of annoying that they can dynamically refill chests and put out new potions, but they can't provide the glass dragon claw anywhere which is the whole basis of the quest. I doubt I'll come back to Forelhost. Absolutely the most boring, unpleasant experience I've had playing Skyrim so far. Broken quests like this one make me really dislike this game and I stop playing for a while. Apparently on Xbox and PS4 the gate won't open half the time even if you do manage to find the claw. I've never had a problem finding the five or six other dragon claws I've used in other quests so far. Just this one. Thanks, Bethesda, for all the glitches and mistakes this game is still packed full of after five years.

The other note you were looking for is in the alchemy lab. In the corner where the draugr is sitting.

14:16 The poison makes sense. Suicide, they sat on their beds, drank poison, set the bottle down then probably laid down to die.

so i just wanted to say first of all great video ESO i loved it and miss the play through with akar . Also if you want to get easy lock picking levels keep the skeleton key it will never break and you can use it until you get the perk in lock picking where you cant break regular picks.

Helpful hint if your follower ever gets glitched like Lydia did on you, just use healing hands an they'll stand right back up.

if an essential/follower npc like lydia who wont die unless you personally do the damage goes down like that you can use healing hands to heal them and make them stand back up. ive had it happen to me a few times while training on the greybeards.

24:30 That's not actually the dragon priest. It's Alduin. In human form off coarse, like all the nordic gods have a human and an animal form. The dragon priests dress up like him.

If you just want the shout and don't want the staff or mask or anything else you can jump on the dome that makes the entrance then look at the balcony closet to you and whirlwind sprint then jump a few times then you'll be on the balcony and you can get the shout

Eso, I don't know if you read these but, I like your at level one videos, because I am currently crap at the game. I already glitched through the door at the Raven Rock Blacksmith and got that armor, and that's what my level 9 self currently uses. If there is anything else you can do at level one (or at low levels) please upload about it.

The stormcloak soldier is suppose to be an imposter in Imperial armor? At least that is how he was presented as when I first encountered him. He reveals his true intentions once I complete the quest upon returning to him. Glitch perhaps? Hmmm.. lol Great walkthrough though ESO. 👍

Playing this level 47 legendary was ridiculous. I had to be a werewolf for the boss fight which took like ten tries
