Yeah, play it. It's a really well-made collection by one of the legends of the Skyrim modding community and it just keeps getting better. The worst thing about GtS is that it's a Nexus collection, not a Wabbajack modlist - but once you get into the actual game, it's an amazing experience.
@@Quanxi.10 JUST LEAVE THEM ALONE! They are the True Modlist Authors. You may think that you can disable them to gain some more plugin space but no. It will mess everything up and you will have to reinstall the modlist again. The Corgi's in game work fine as followers, thats not what I'm warning you. Just don't disable them in the manager. Other than that, you can change the animations to your liking as well as add some armors and change the body you want to use. Just leave the corgi's alone. They are a canon mod that must stay enabled.
There’s a tool where you can transfer a nexus mod collection to MO2 if you want to customize it to your liking. Search up “Nexus Collections Downloader”
@@heinrichguil1524 It's beautiful! You did a superb job. A fan favorite among GTS players for sure. Also... something I really enjoyed from your mod: Sometimes 3D artists struggle when it comes to implementing their content into the game in a seamless way, but you did great on that front too! Hats off to you sir, looking forward to any future mods you share with the community!
I usually don't go for mod collections, as I prefer to customize my game to my own tastes. But I am tempted to make an exception for this. It looks impressive and very similar to how I prefer to play Skyrim.
@@maboilaurence8227 ??? Wabbajack Modlists are just the same customization. In fact, for advance users wabbajack modlists are easier to customize because they use MO2 which provides more user customizability and less fancy and more straight-forward UI. Many Wabbajack modlists also use portable instances with stock game folders which makes it much faster to customize huge modlist because you don't have to "deploy" mods which can take a very long time in Vortex, instead the mods are all in their own instance with their own game instance. So that means if you have a vortex modlist, manual modlists, whatever, it can also co-exist without taking ages to deploy into different profiles/collections. MO2 also has its own profile system which is much faster then mo2s. Wabbjack modlist authors tend to discourage customization more because they've been dealing with people who don't know how to mod properly trying to mod, breaking the list, and then blaming the curator. Also using LOOT tends to break things for many because they aren't setup using it.
You can save way more time and energy just modding out and putting in, what you don’t like. If you like more than half of the mods on a glance, it’s worth it. It’s why I love mod packs/wabberjacks. They almost always come with the essentials you need for other mods anyway.
There was some rumour I heard that Ogerboss (founder of Requiem mod) was a Todd Howard himself, who made it to offer his ideal vision of Skyrim. Kinda funny but who knows?...😂
I have been modding for almost 20 years, and I am usually very hands on and particular with my load orders, but.... I havent played Skyrim in 12 years. Forget spending a month modding it. I am going to trust you on this one and dive in with this list
Been playing this for a few weeks. I added 150 additional mods and it's still remarkably stable even after I desecrated it. JaySerpa really has done incredible work and it's well worth the cost of a premium Nexus account just to play this collection alone. Try it!!!
Out of curiosity what mods did you add to this collection? I'm on the fence because I want the Legacy of the Drahinborn mods for my playthrough, I just love it to much and can't seem to play the game without them
@@codybarton6332 I don't use LOTD. Never liked the theme of that one, personally. I don't know how to make a text list of the mods I added from Vortex, but if you know a way to select those 150 and put them in a text file I can share the list with you.
Been playing for a few days now. Absolutely goated, feels brand new while still feeling like Skyrim. The fact that you have everything preconfigured is actually huge and greatly appreciated. There is nothing I dislike more than seeing the cracks between mods, you have made everything appear absolutely seamless. Thank you!
I started playing skyrim on PS, then xbox for more mods, THEN pc for all the mods. Jayserpa has been there on my skyrim journy from the beginning. Once i heard 1500 plus mods my jaw dropped. People looking for ultra realistic or devil my cry type mod lists might not go for this. But for people who ever thought while playing skyrim "wouldnt it make more sense if...?". This will be special.
I've been playing Skyrim with GTS on and off for a long time now and every time I come back to it, it pulls me back in. You've created an unforgettable experience, I'll probably still be coming back to play your mod pack years from now.
What i really love about it is if you join the companions, you have to prove yourself before you climb the ranks and do more jobs. Gives the guilds a rewarding sense of realism.
I have played a couple of mod packs but nothing has blown me away like GTS has. It's a completely new Skyrim experience and is constantly updating with new features.
This looks SOOOOOOO tempting.. if I hadn't spent the last year getting my own set up done, I'd be all over this.. in fact, I might just try it out because .. I can.. and you have the best stuff on nexus! Very well done as always Jay! ♥
This is literally everything I dreamed of for a skyrim modlist (especially since the vigilant of stendarr gets a chance to shine against molag baal), godspeed to you
Todd Howard annually sending his agents into my recommended videos. And damn he knows what to send. Gonna install it this evening and go Hunt around Whiterun for a week or so.
Been playing with your mods since forever man! I love you content too. I'm gonna have to download this and get back into that Skyrim phase again, lol. Keep up the amazing work
Been using GTS for a few months now, ever since my personal schedule wasn't allowing me to keep up with the Skyrim modding scene. It was sad to lose my personal load order that I'd curated over years, but GTS has a lot of the same mods and is very well patched together, and it only gets better with every modlist update. GTS gave me back my Skyrim and then some, can't recommend enough and IMO is the definitive way to play!
The early game might seem rough at first but just stick it out and you’ll be having a blast. Almost 24 hours in and I’m having a wonderful time. Absolutely refreshing to play Skyrim with this Collection.
As someone that loves my own customized mod list, this one is not only a breath of fresh air, but an amazing and immersive experience. If you haven't yet played this modlist, I HIGHLY encourage you to give it a try!
Are you using a resolution of 21:9? It works, but you'll have to install a few mods on top. Join the discord, I think someone made a guide on everything you need to add.
I was introduced to your mods by some of the xbox ports back before i built a pc and they were great and after i built my pc and saw you did an entire nexus collection i knew i had to give it ago And its amazing
Voice actor is 11/10 this trailer become much more atmospheric because of narrator, totally great thing for an rpg to have a good narrator. A lot of games proofs it - nwn2 mask of betrayer, divinity original sin 2 and others
It is a perfect modlist and I understand most of it's vision, the things you know added as an immersion are generally raising game's difficulty settings and this is accomplished with various resource production&consumption. It will not be like requem stuff where it's heavily MCO driven and the difficulty is more about damage taken/dealt. I had to forward some patches for my own NPC overhauls (ones I find to be a must like NITHI series) and it wasn't that much of a work at all too. I'd suggest you try Veteran modders' collections any time. Great work Jay!
@@wingedhussar1453 It pretty much sets itself up once it all downloads, sadly it doesn't seem possible to download without premium (unless you have 8-10 hours to manually click download nonstop) With the effort put into this modlist I wish my premium went towards the creators of this collection rather than nexus
I like what i see here and i will check out mod list and get mods i want separatly because i like prefer to have choice what i use and i always go with vanilla+ style of modding to avoid instabilities and potential game crashes. This mod list from what i've seen in video is incredible. What i do when i am modding the game is improving what is already in game and expanding what is already in game and adding features that should've been in game since beginning to make it more alive.
And here I was thinking of a new mod list, the divines seemed to answer my call. On a serious note looks phenomenal and definitely will be downloading.
GTS is just a high quality masterpiece. Realistic Skyrim gameplay with many improvements, well looking and works on my potato laptop. Thanks JaySerpa. 💜
my reaction went from "OK, it's pretty and colorful, nice" to "oh cool he's actually poisoning the bolt, I might look into this" to "IS THAT ACTUAL CLIMBING HOLY SHIT WHERE DO I GET THIS, RIGHT NOW". The thing I lament most about Skyrim vs. older ES games is the lack of interesting movement options. Compared to Daggerfall or Morrowind, your character is so despotically glued to the ground that it's sad, even Oblivion had Acrobatics.
