Skyrim: Saving Roggvir from Execution in Solitude 

Hey everyone! I know a lot of you are seeing this video pop up in your home page or whatever. But I'm still doing stuff, believe it or not. I stream on Twitch quite frequently and I also have a Twitter which I post to when I'm streaming. Both links are in the description in case you are curious.

Did anyone laugh when the uploader was speechless for 20s after seeing Roggvir died, except for the occasional "Wha-"? He was looking around in awe and was helpless. Ha ha ha ha!

When I saved him, back in the day, he ran out the front gate, ran all the way across Skyrim to the Riften front gate, then disappeared. I literally followed him the whole way.

Idk how it happened in my game, but every time I walk into solitude Roggvir is sharpening a sword on the stage he was supposed to be executed on. He's guilty of being a badass

He died because you didnt give him Fresh Fish in time.

It feels like somebody tried to use the Death Note to kill Roggvir and you prevented it so he just ended up having a heart attack.

I tried several times to block all attacks to him. And I succeeded, he runs away... and then just dissapears, and everyone still in the city talks about the guy having got executed...

For some reason, I highly enjoyed this.

I "saved" him once..... I ran up there and murdered the guards. As soon as i did that i heard the sound of a head being chopped off. I look and see his body drop and his head glitch out and go flying.

I think Roggvir dies from a heart attack because he just heard of an incredible opportunity of getting fresh fish for a low price, he couldn' t believe it and overcame with joy and then die from a heart attack.

On the PC version. If you can manage to show up for the first time during a vampire attack, Roggvir will be able to run away in one of two or three directions if he goes towards the Blue Palace he will disappear once he reaches the rocks. (Since he will huddle in fear you will need to shield bash him to make him continue running) I know this may sound funny but I literally just did this and have a save file with him vanishing and the NPCs chasing him put away their weapons and said he got away.

I think it's funny because I never took a side in the Civil War on my second playthrough I actually carried his body up to the church and put him in front of the thrones, left some flowers and a steel great sword across his chest.
