Skyrim Shop Keeper's Secret Chest Location 

For those of you who are confused this chest has whatever you sell to a few of the merchants in whiterun so whatever you sell them will go in that chest, it's not fake and it's not luck

I remember when this video was close to new, I was with both my parents, it was a stormy night, it was thundering, and the electricity kept coming on and off, that day my parents let me stay up late cause of it, I explored Skyrim all day, I remember it like was yesterday, good memories.

so i was playing skyrim and i left my game running while watching and a fucking giant came up behind me and scard the shit out of me

*opens chest* *looks through stuff* *scrolls down* *finds coins* "*Dont mind if i do ;)*" *takes* *WAlks away* Perfect

Hey guys you can just use a wooden plate and hold it against the wall by the skyforge and run right thru it. Seriously... who does all this running around the entire whiterun city just to get that chest? Am I the only one that does it this way? Let me know if u guys want a tutorial vid.

There's a faster way to do this: 1) Go behind Jorrvaskr where the tables and chairs are located and walk up to the wall just where the rock face meets with the wall 2) Take a bowl, bucket or basket and face the bottom of said object to the wall with the opening of the object facing you. 3) Next use Whirlwind sprint(Spoiler: you can use the same trick on doors that are secured from the other side or that actually have metal bars, and to get into other glitched areas in the game) and you'll phase through the wall to the other side, and from there just walk to the same spot on this video to get to the chest. Basically that saves you from tedious jumping and having to run all around Whiterun.

You realize you can do that in half the time if you turn right at the entrance gate and jump on the barrel and you can jump out of the map and then you follow the path that he took outside the map

There's a much easier way to get to this, doesn't involve jumping up on walls or buildings. There's a house you fall into then you follow all the steps explained in this video after he goes under the map.

I just tested this for the remastered version and it works still

Commenting from the year 3059 this still works and Skyrim is still one of the greatest games ever made. Like if you wish you were here with me in 3059.

Another helpful hint... When you are under the skyforge, go directly under the eagle statue thingy and look up, jump, and spam the use button, you will be teleported out by using the forge. Much faster than walking out if u are overcumberred.

I usually take the first right when I enter whiterun and jump out from the barrel in that small room. But I agree that this is Graymanes chest. The location is directly under the skyforge. If you empty his inventory and wait for 48 hours his inventory and gold restock as well.

Thanks for all the time you put in to this but there is a MUCH easier was to get the chest in Whiterun, dude :P Like, 100% easier...

Press the "~" button or you call it console then type "tcl" on it press enter and it will set collision off so you can walk trough every thingand to reset it to normal back just type "tcl" again it will on the collision. This is the fastes way to get to secret chests

You made this look harder than it is to to get outside, you can be outside Whiterun before you even climb up to the top of the roof and items that spawn in chests are level based so if your low level the item will be low damage/armour and as for the 'don't go to far' outside it doesn't make any difference you can go to the farms outside Whiterun they just despawn.

Can't you use... Dragon Shout (Don't remember name) Think it was whirlwind sprint.

He put the stuff in chest because the blade of woe is a unite item and theirs only one plus it has a small arrow that means it was favorited

he could had just got a plate and pick it up then run through it and on the side of the companions

Chest is just for Eorland Gray Manes inventory. If you go to any other merchant in Whiterun, they all have there stufd but if you choose to sell the items from Eorland after you took from the chest, you will see his inventory is empty. There is an easier way to get to it by getting a bucket and running into the bucket into a wall by the companions home and just going through it.

Guys here's what you should do to save time, clear lots of your inventory, basically have lots of carry weight available, then do this glitch once and stay at the chest, then skip around 24-48 hours in game and stuff in the chest should respawn and keep doing this until your overloaded with carry weight

the first one you could of go right from the main gate and jump and the barrel to the outside

There's a easy way go to the front gate turn right jump on the barrel then to the wall.

You could've just went around instead of doing so much parkor

by house grey-mayne on the right side of the building you should see some red flowers just stand on them for a while the force of the red flowers will pull you under whiterun, you end up under house Grey-mayne but you want to run towards the flowing water where there is a patch of land underneath, then glitch out from underneath the map by heading towards the stone wall and running in front of whiterun entrance go around it not in, then walk around the town till you reached the sky forge and you end up running till you see the 2nd glitched out floor jump over the 1st boulder and walk or run straight into the second boulder it should let you walk though it then once inside jump to interact with the chest and just take all the sell or keep everything thanks for reading my tip

I'm still playing this . Bought it for the 360 and now I upgraded to a PS4 pro . And I had to start all over again . But I do find it pretty cool to just play Skyrim to relax .

Ok so I know it might be a bit late to say this cause I'm sure other ppl found out about this way, but instead of jumping on the roof about whatever just get a platter, drag it to one of the windows of the jorrvasker entrance (left side) start sprinting, then use fus roh dah then boom, under jorrvasker and hidden chest still there. Instead of running around whiterun

This is just a longer way of getting under jorvaskr(?). If you get on the very top of the roof and use whirlwind sprint to get ontop of the invisible barrier its much faster.

Easiest way to do this is go to the watchtower on the left when you first enter white run. Get on the barrel and make sure you're not touching the wall jump onto the wall on the right of when you first enter. Keep jumping until you jump out. If you can't jump out wall along the wall to the other side and slip right througj

there is a lot easier way btw. Just when you enter through the main gate go right. You wil lse a barrel in a sort of small corner. Jump on the barrel and jump up the wall left of it. Get the timing right and crouch through the gap of the wall once you are on it and you are outside the walls a lot easier.

take a kettle or platter and push the top of either one into a wall, then use whirlwind sprint into the bottom and you should fly through the wall, if not just keep walking into it back and forth you should eventually clip through the wall.

Guys you can just go to the gate, turn left and go into that little guard tower and jump on the barrel. Once you do that you can just jump over the wall and get this same chest in a quarter of the time. Then just follow his foot steps from out side the walls and get the chest.

the higher the level the better the armor weapons etc is

At first I was intrigued by this. But this looks like more trouble than it's worth. Props for taking the time to make the video though.

I found easy way to glitch out of city! Just spawn on whitrun gate go to right on watch tower and you can see a box. Jump on the box and try to jump on the tower hole and you can glitch out of city

I keep dying When I get in the glitch like instakill when I land

I like to just go onto skyforge. Whirlwind sprint onto Jorvaskrs roof, get on top of the weird roof decor thing. I whirlwind sprint off. You should land on an invisible wall above the regular wall. From there you can just jump off of the invisible wall.

Go to the skyforge, hit ~ to get to console. Type TCL and you can go through the floor. Get to the chest and empty it, go back above ground level, console and TCL again.

lol there is not that much shit in there that's all his stuff if you look at the blade of woe it's listed as his favorite weapon how is that possible if you can only obtain that sword once

There is a much easier way to do this. As you enter whiterun go directly right and there is a guard tower 2 foot from the entrance/ exit. Once ok are there u will want to turn right again. You should see a barrel you must then jump on that barrel and proceed to jump in the window facing towards the entrance of whiterun. You will have to crouch to get out of it.

If you are wondering if the chest resets and new items goes in there, yes. all you gotta do is wait/ in game time skip to 24 hours and once you press a quickly press the home button on xbox 360 only. and time will go quicker. You need to do this untill you reach 48 hours and then the chest will reset with new items.

instead of doing this you can simply go to the part of the wall at the first gate. once you get into whiterun turn right and go around the forge you'll see a little room with a barrel in it jump on the barrel and then jump out the top of the wall in between the roof and wall. and then do the same thing.

Even more complicated than the barrel or bowl method. Just go to the park and look for the house with the stained glass windows, walk up to the window on the right and fall through the map. Turn around to the right and walk toward the hole in the wall. Once outside keep your right side to the wall and follow it around. I can get to the chest before most people can get under the map.

Tip just go to the front gate go to the left side jump on barrel through the wall ,but you have too take all your items off then go through that rock he went through

230 hours in to Skyrim and I had no idea you can sprint.

the barrel by the main gate use it to hop over the wall still tricky but less death involved and alot shorter if u do it right

This is the BEST chest, ill explain. Also you can just walk to the chest and stand there. Take everything. Then wait 48 hrs(can increase24) in game, move under the grind stone jumping up the wall near tracing it, wait for smith and jump up and ask whats for sale, his inventory resets, leave the convo walk over take everything again and you can keep doing that forever. Walk from chest past grindstone to the ground texture hill then out the window in wall to get out. Then make the stupid slow walk back(i weighed 14100 once)to the front gate go in, which is out, then in again and dump at your house. Voila. 1k+/- gold each time and tons of items to rank smithing to make all kinds of armor plus tons to sell. Over 100k an hour is fair assesment plus ranking to 100 smithing from the items. Not much for enchanting but soul gems. Quick way to get rarish items like: moonstone, malichite, ebony, and arrows ebony glass dwarven. I got 500 ebony 350glass arrows in 45min....best chest hands down based on quickest gains. You can do this from the start of the game.

One there is an easier way as in going to the White run gate and turning right and going into the little watch out place where a barrel is jump on the barrel and try jumping over the wall and two the reason you got such Hugh level stuff is because your a level 42 don't trick people into thinking they are going to get great stuff automatically

You can also jump on top of the warmaiden's using the smelter and use the whirlwind sprint shout to the top of the tower thing and jump off

at the main gate facing it the left tower has a barrel u can jump on top of and jump out of white run and do the same thing

The game renders item quality depending on your level, the game is made like this so you can't pick up high grade armor and weapons at a low level. It would make the game useless, he probably got glass armor because he's a really high level, he doesn't show his level anywhere in the game, so to the people that don't get the same stuff, it's because of the level difference.

You can also jump on the bucket in the well in white run to get under the city

There is so much of an easier way, at the gates in side whiterun turn left, facing the gate door, and go into that small square room, then jump on the barrels and jump onto the wall, crouch and move around till your out, then head to the chest

What kind of monster plays in 3rd person?

Dude it had the "Blade of Woe" which is a quest exclusive weapon (destroying the dark brotherhood) or he killed Astrid the leader of the dark brotherhood. That could not be found in a merchant chest. Wolf armor could also not be found

I use this glitch all the time and their is no glass armor in that chest. Their is also a much easier way to get out of whiterun. Jump onto the Barrel in the small room next to the main gate. Then jump out of whiterun.

There is an easier way to get to the sky forge chest, to the left of the main gate should a little room with a barrel against the wall jump on the barrel and the jump toward the wall next to the gate it’s much easier

There an easier way go to the front of white run and into the little area to the right and there is a barrel jump on it look to the right and jump THEN sprint forward and you will end up on the outside then do the same as he does when your outside

I recently found a treasure map from a bandit camp at it was a a secret chest on the throat of the world it a a full set of glass armor and it had a daedric sword

this probably the hardest way to do this glitch. the 2nd hardest way to do it is to jump of the barrel at the gate. the best and easiest way to do it (i use this way) is to go from dragons reach to the big pink tree. turn right and go to the first building to your left and walk in the corner l. u will then fall through the map and u can make your way to the chest

You can also just wall glitch using a Plater or wooden plate on a certain part under the sky forge closer to the archery targets then the stairs that's 10 times easier.

On one of the houses there is a window, if you literally just run into it you end up under the map anyways so it's a 10x easier way

You can also whirlwind sprint into jorvaskr then whirlwind sprint out the wall you need to be a high level though with 270 plus health to survive the fall

this glitch is patched now but if you use a bowl or a bucket on the rocks under the sky forge you can clip through like some do in the riften guild hall

Kind of suspicious that the blade of woe was marked favorite. Because when you favorite something it has that little arrow on the left side of it

There's another way with out doing the jumping. Use a wooden plate. To walk through the gate house wall. Easy. Same way to get the ebony blade.

It's crazy how this still works even in the remastered version.

What you could have just done for the first one was when your first walk into whiterun there is two side place one has a barrel and the other doesn't the one to the right has the barrel....jump on the barrel and try jumping over the wall and then just.....walk till you find that hidden chest

It is much easier to take a bucket and go to behind the companions building run against wall on the right next to the torch behind training dummys.

I have been trying to do this on the Switch and I keep dieing when I fall through the world the first time from the stone archway when I leave the housetop. Anyway that I can keep from dieing when I try to leave from the top of the stone archway? Please help. I've been trying to figure it out for 2 days.

There is a much easier way to get this. Go to the main gate in whiterun then to the left and on top of a barrel then you will jump on top of the wall then glitch out and you can walk to get the chest.

There is a much easier way of doing the chest in whiterun all u do is go to the gate to the city and go to the left and you go inside the indent on the wall and get ontop of the barrel and jump over the wall. It takes a couple tries but you can get it

Wow took a simple glitch and raised it to legendary difficulty. Impressive

Pretty damn good. Didnt know serana wore ebony armor until this chest and I gave her the sheild I got to her

Or you could go to the the house where the person who works the skyforge live and walk into a certain wall and glitch downwards
